Had to use a hint to get the numbers for the wall. Still don't understand how the scroll clue would lead to the order of the numbers used.

look at the red flag of the boat
give the gun to the pirate,then click on the arrow
click on the crate right
number clue on the column up
observe the skull sillhoutte on the barrel
hint in the red book
eyes go to the tigers up left
use screw on crate left
attach anchor to the loop
voila!
got the gold ,now out,nice game.......

You have to zoom in (a little) on the rope to be able to attach the anchor.

I dont get the concept behind making the games SOOO dark that you cant see
Drat! Can't attach the anchor whether zoomed in or not. I have a gold key, a strange long thing and the anchor. I really hate dark games and agree that developers should be making games for every screen, not just what they see in theirs.
You first have to use that rod (the long strange thing) on the grate below to open it and then you can attach the anchor.
OK, I managed to escape. To attach anchor, you need to use long pole to push grated cover on floor in bottom of ship. Then you have space for anchor. Anchor brings up a chest full of coins which you open using the golden key. Too much effort!
