geroffmeland, be sure you are inputting it in the right place--those numbers don't go right below the picture.
Brute forced a color code and missed half of the game.
I was stuck for ages after using the card and number, because nothing seemed to happen.
Click the picture above the code to lift it after using the number.
I always play with the sound off (so a bit stumped there as well), but checked later; with the correct code you hear a click.

What was the "final" code? 655? 556? 955? 559? I tried a good many before removing the picture, so I don't know which one worked (and I,. too, play with the sound off.)
Whatever your code was, you had to reverse it. If you look at the L shape - it's reversed on the picture.
My final code was blue, red, red (955)
Final code was 955, from the red and blue tokens.
I thought this was good, they've effectively doubled the number of puzzles. Not that they're harder, but...
