don't know what the heck's going on...my cursor doesn't appear
Guitar hint is not entirely correct (no 2 steps between green and pink, but just one).
Scratches on the wall is hint for the third floor.
What's the deal with the rotating thing?
Didn't solve that one yet, Josh. Maybe we need something extra for that so the key can turn as well.Am now in second room on the third floor.

In third room, when you first zoom on door ( to 4th room ) to right in books is a stick.
Ah, that's lame. For the bottom line of the maths puzzle, the math rules are broken (first add and then multiply there).

Still don't understand the key on the first floor. What do you mean with just move it around? The black rectangles, can't be moved, can they?
you put the stick on the dials in top room and click on the hammer the bone will fall down
ST I just turned the dials and came back and it gave me the key?
Yes move the black things with the dial at the top right till the circle are bottom right then you can take the key
Were is the math clue?
Sorry ST, wasn't very clear. Use the buttons to move the circles around, and no the black bars dont move, they determine how far you can move each circle. All you need to is move them around so that the space above the key is clear.
Having real problems with the key slider puzzle in cauldron room

I thought I had to move the key from circle to circle and up in the right black bar.
The slider in the cauldron room is brutal.
I had a paper or book for the maths clue. Not sure anymore from where but I think from the first floor.
Where was the second wheel?

the block puzzle i just cannot do
I'm stuck in the second room on the 3rd floor. What do I do with the ghosts on the books? Haven't found an order anywhere.

Evesmommy you need to go down a floor. the clue is on the left on the side of what looks like a fireplace. I missed it for ages.

Pfew, finally the block puzzle done (start with bringing the key all the way left). Key is used in the first room of the third floor to get a horror toy !?
Use horror toy, then magic stick, then bone, then knife, then spider, then blood, then skull and finally book (called red button!?) in the cauldron to get a key.

Click the green button that pops after you've done the puzzle.

Bottom one is (6+4) x 10
Maybe you first have to see the hint before the green button works. Use the paper on a torch.

Still stuck on second floor. Did the slider puzzle and pushed the green button. Can't get by the reaper. :(

Yep, played again. Green button only works after you used the empty paper on the torch on the same floor.
well darn...where's the empty paper??

I used the ladder.
Other scenes once you get and use the ladder.
Argh Couldnt get the slider had to quit!
There are a couple of walkthrus on Youtube, but they both have a jump cut just after the key is moved all the way to the left in the sliding blocks puzzle. In other words, they are completely useless. I'm a bit surprised that S-T and others have solved the thing. All I'm left with is a few moves which seem to accomplish nothing.
Block puzzle was tough but I'd rather play this kind of game than just following the hints (which often times the answers).
