I am stuck with 6 symbols, 3 gold coins, 2 brown buttons, and lantern glass
lot's of clues, can't figure out how to use them.

Gives a 4 digit number that I have no idea where to use

Otherwise stuck with 8 colored buttons with symbols, 4 gold coins with 4 digit number, 2 red/brown buttons and a lantern glass.
Now what to do with the 8 symbols?

@Susan: I'm guessing it's a left-right code for wherever the two red buttons get placed.
I thought the numbers on the shirt would be a Left/Right puzzle clue but no left/right puzzle!

Nope, no idea on the shirt numbers or the pink red green lines.
Count the colored lines for a three-number safe code.

Which 3 number safe code? I get either 524 or 443, depending on whether I count the number of each color line or the lines in each group. Neither number works.
I've counted the pink/redgreen lines--443 doesn't work?
It's wrong. It is 434. The green and the pink are switched.

Trying to figure out the w=4 clue. Probably goes to the number panel on the door but no combination is working
I thought w=4 would mean we have to change the letters in cowboy to numbers, but can't use that info anywhere
GLITCH! In the right-hand room, zoom in on the cupboard with the brown hat sitting on it. Start clicking around between the drawers on the left-ish side of the center knobs. If you're lucky, a box for the two red buttons to go on and use the 2122... code on will MAGICALLY APPEAR.
No, I think the W=4 was for the 3x3 grid. Since it's the same word.

Found the box, placed the red buttons, but nothing happens when I use the code ......................
check your inventory and see if the box is there - all you hear is a tiny sound
u have to write the numbers of gold medals in letters on the panel with letters now im stuck..

Jo-Ann: You have to click the zoomed-in view on the CB under the darker brown hat (I think it's on the left). Click along the space between the upper and lower drawers. It's hard to pinpoint exactly, but you'll hear the "click!" when it happens and what looks like a brown two-pip Lego will appear in your inventory.

One literally spell the letter, the light turns green. Repeat for the gold coin numbers

When you have 9 buttons you can place them on the (X like) board.
When you get all the symbols, a faint guide to where they go appears on the game board on the wall in the left-hand room. I'd rather have been able to place them as I got them and clear out inventory space.

9 buttons gives the key for the drawer you guys kind of brute-forced/cheated.

(W = 4)
you need 12 buttons
I hate to say this, but the author's comments at the top of this page do explicitly state "There are puzzles and hints left out.". Thanks for everyones help.

Oops, sorry, yep you need 12 buttons. I counted groups of 3 and somehow posted 9 instead of 12.
Ahh thanks S-T out now. I thought W=4 meant to shift instead of A=1 then A=8
So all of us BruteForced the drawer...Small-tool, great comment!
Ugh. It'd be easier to figure out that w=4 based on the lines in a w if the w clue wasn't written in a curvy font.
I wasn't going to mention that they used "Silent Night" for the background music three months after Christmas, but on top of everything else wrong with this game...
So that was hilarious, getting the key and the box we all already had!!! Cannot stop laughing!!

used the wanted poster clue on the door, and escaped; never had to place symbols.
This one's a fail for me; it left me tired and confused, and the music is atrocious.

The code 212212112 on shirt does not work for the red button box. I assume 2=R and 1=L. See two video WT one of the code is 21212112 and another one is 212221 but all both are not working. Don't know the trick.
Try a dozen time and finally the box opened. Finally out. A bit disappointing.
