The corner hint does not work for the desk drawer. There should not be clicking the same corner one after the other.
there will be more clues, it WAS annoying. The next one has a double, too.
The window hint also not working. I wonder if I get the orientation correct. Is 1 lower right, 2 upper left, and so on?

Feeling dumb. Someone spell it out for me, I don't understand how to ignore the corners the numbers are in. There's a window with 6 panels and a paper with 6 panels, and I don't see how to get 4 spaces out of those.

Andrea, using paper order, just look at the window and make a row of digits. Use both digits from double cells. Then match digits with table clue.

get a blue button in desk drawer
put it on remote (found in drawer view window)
use remote on air conditionner to see numbers on window
light off (view door) arrow shows where use cutter to find desk key

7 = LR
6 = LL
2 = LR
1 = UR
4 = UL
3 = LL
8 = UR
5 = UL

Can't find anyplace to use cutter
Don't see anything on the edge of the table (except blurs)
Oh, and NEVER would have guessed the white window shade was an air conditioner!
Paper is from AC, cutter is behind right side of desk (move chair so it's not in the way), use cutter in the spot indicated by the arrow when the lights are off for key. Use key in drawer for pencil, use pencil on paper and use paper clue with window clue and desk clue. Bottom number (if two numbers) on window pane is before the other number.
