Sorry AO, I don't understand the numbers clue!
Clodagh,
the number is 2 digits, 1 digit, 2 digits.
Nope, still not getting it AO. And why?
spoiler
18 5 15
Thanks Seb - so it was as simple as that? Just type in the letters you see? But why?
Numbers I mean, of course!
ah, ok, you're served Clodagh :-)
(thx guys)
Thanks AO - still don't know why though!
The buttons was the most annoying. You have to count how many times the letter appears (C=1, etc.) and then enter them in the number order.
Thank goodness I didn't have to click that button 51 times!
Clodagh
(from memory)
numbers on panel go from 0 - 19 (or 20), hence you only can do the 18-5-15 combo (& not e.g. 1 85 15 or 18 51 5)
The last one is great!
Spoiler for buttons (because it took me forever to figure it out)
CRCLRL (If I remember it right)
Don't understand the last one
"numbers on panel go from 0 - 19 (or 20),"
what panel? Oh well, too tired to try to figure it out so Xing out.
the number puzzle panel (pad), where you click at 3 numbers to change them
I don't get the CLR. If someone comes by here, and could explain it I would be grateful.
Hi arrie :)
on wall count 1C 2R 3L (and put in order 121321)
Yay, seb, got it, thanks!
OK. It still amazes me that even the simplest games have something to teach.
For me, the last puzzle with the 18515 clue is really a warning to NOT assume anything regarding number counters or other aspects of escape games clues!
Before checking the comments for a clue, I was stuck for a good while ASSUMING that the counters only went from 0 to 9.
So...1+8=9 and 1+5=6 and with the 5 the answer to the puzzle is obviously 956, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Reminder to self: Always run the numbers around the counter in order to determine the range to work within!
DOH!!!
