The snake and ladder is a clue for the 10 switches in the first room.

To go into the next room after the first one, click on the door up the stairs.

The LR button puzzle is solved by the final revealed clue.

Use hammer on skull by door.
LR clue - work from outermost rectangle to innermost.

I dont get the snake ladder clue. Is anyone still there?

perhaps too late but snake and ladder give hint for buttons in start scene

snake for left column, click buttons from top to bottom
and ladder for right column, click buttons from bottom to top

Snakes and ladders like the game - go down the snakes and up the ladders.
