  1. Characters under letters on tv match the second set of characters on the brown paper
    ABC
    DEF
There's a white book under the tv as well
But don't see any place to use any of the codes even if I could work them out.

  2. I've also found several shapes with letters and a strange equation on edge of bottom drawer (language barrier there for sure)

  3. locations of letter shapes:
book, rt of tv stand, middle drawer, back of remote, table edge (by cup)
There's a calendar page on plant pot.

  4. OK, I can select the tiles on the brown paper and then put them on the second side of the box.
Tried the circle-triangle-square characters from the bottom drawer, but that didnt do anything.

  5. And it's confusing - the square is DG, and D and G are 2 different characters.
Have to wait for someone to translate the 3rd drawer, I think.

  6. @Puzzled, where did you find the second set of characters?

Try spelling F-E-D on the box maybe...(circle-triangle-square)

  7. there's a week missing on the calendar

  8. Hi !

  9. Hi, thanks seb, I found that :)

    I'm as stuck as you

  10. second set of characters -- in about item, click the u-turn arrow

  11. I can only be out by looking at WT.

The formula: (RED + 1) x (RED ~ BLUE) --> circle triangle square which is related to the calendar

    ReplyDelete
  12. Hint on formula:

RED = number of red days on calendar
RED ~ BLUE = the total days from red to blue

The answer gives two shape which contains the letters (hence Hiragana) for the box

  13. Spoiler:

RED=1, RED~BLUE=14, So (3+1)x14 = 56 which represent pentagon and hexagon, or AB C. Mapping ABC to Hiragana is いろは.

  14. Weird. My calendar has 4 red days 12, 19, 26, 29) and 3 blue days (4, 18, 25).
The solution works, but I don't see it.

  15. ..No idea what the puzzles were because from the TV I read "iro wa nihoheto" from ABCDetc (which is the first line of a famous poem) and just put "irowa" with the blocks.. so I solved nothing but still got out lol
