Pink and white bar code was NOT a red herring -- it's the order to press the leaves on left.
Thanks to Joe M for the hint for the right side.

Left side gives ice cream that unlocks bottom. Yum!

I think the left side puzzle must be a but because it doesn't seem to matter what order I click the numbers, it always works.

Terrible. WAY too easy.
