Hi Acmer, that's exactly the point where I'm stuck too.
Progress! My old friend tab took me back to the bananas, there's a scroll with a clue for three symbols.
Got spear,pill, jar with water and spray bottle...
And use the spray you receive in the well. After I had tried that on the turtle I decided to work off the scenes from left to right and was lucky.
Lantern in well, but no idea, what to do with that
I WILL need help with the math in the well...

Well puzzle has part of the solution on the tree.
I wonder if the x8 from the tree in water scene has something to do with it.
Next hint: multiply the line with 8 and you get the lower line, repeat.

That was fast - the beehive
All that fuss to see a hint that we have to pour the water on the turtle? I had tried that a hundred times before! ;-)
WALKTHROUGH:
Click rocks on left side and look at flowers. Notice their colours (purple, blue, pink).
Take wood (right of well).
Take banana (above wood).
Take brown clue paper hidden between bananas. Click to open it.
Go right.
Take rope (right of the fly agarics/mushrooms in upper left corner).
Take hariken light (top right of cabin).
Take arrow from treehole.
Enter symbols from clue paper on tree (above treehole). Take spray.
Go right. Look at tree and notice "x8".
Take match box next to the plant at the bottom of the tree.
Click hariken light in inventory and use match box on it.
Also use rope on hariken light. Click it to have an activated lamp with a rope on it. ;)
Use wood on water. Wait for it to float over. Click wood on the other riverside to get there.
Click the monkey on the tree. Give him banana to get key.
Use key on compartment in tree. Take bottle.
Click bottle and open it by clicking the cap. Take tablet "4".
Go right and take handle from log pile.
Click the rock left from log pile. Remember flower colours from beginning of the game.
Enter this order (purple, blue, pink) on buttons on rock. Take pot.
Use pot on water to fill it. Take water pot with you.
Go back to first screen. Use handle on well. Use hariken light on well.
Click the well.
Use spray on well to get number puzzle.
Remember that tree where we got match box said "x8".
Now multiply the 9 on the puzzle x8 = 72. => Enter "7" in upper empty spot.
72x8 = 576 => Enter "7" in middle empty spot.
576x8 = 4608 => Enter "0" in lower empty spot.
Take spade. Click ground right next to the well. Use spade here to get bow.
Go right. Use spade on clickable spot on ground (in front of cabin) to dig and take tablet "6".
Click the fly agarics/mushrooms in upper left corner. Use bow on beehive. Use arrow on bow.
Take clue paper from beehive. Click to read it.
Click turtle. Use water pot on turtle. Take symbol.
Go left. Use symbol on box left of the well. Take tablet "7".
Click any tablet to get code "746".
Go right. Click buttons on cabin and enter "746". Take key.
Click door and use key on keyhole to release the panda.
