Have no idea where to use cutters.

Use cutter on key you get from the main door in first scene. Zoom in near the rug and click the key hole.

Hmm, I've just stabbed a kid with a needle and punctured an IV bag for no apparent reason. At this stage I'm not sure if I'm any better than the "evil men".

Apparently the punctured IV is a hint for the three bandaids on top of the desk. Lots of logic. I think it was right-middle-left

Jolly Boy, James and Janice.

Chapter 5.

That afternoon, James and Janice go to the hospital to visit their friend, Jolly Boy.
Janice puts the flowers they brought in the corner of the room, she takes out a first shape.
“Ohohoxihigen”, Jolly is gasping for breath.
Help is needed here!

They both are interested in Jollys’ situation and study his X-ray.
“Look, a symbol, what’s it for! And here, another one on the paper at the door”. James puts the two in the inventory.
Janice studies the instruction picture next to the door.
“What belongs with a syringe … ah, of course, a needle”.
She makes correct combinations by moving the objects on the right.
“Wow, James, look … a cutter”.

“Yep, always helpful .. look at those letters above the door, there’s a pill, but I can’t get it off.” James tries to take it with the cutter, but nope, that doesn’t work.
With their phone they can manipulate the safes above the door, but where’s the clue how to …
“Jolly, how are you doing? We’re going to the right now, hang in there, buddy!”
James is worried, but they have to leave him alone for awhile, they’re looking for clues.

Janice jumps up and takes the symbol off the lamp.
“Look, that monitor .. it holds an E, better write it down James”.
The patient in bed is very helpful: “there’s a second shape next to the bear”, he says.

They walk on and enter the office.
A fourth symbol is on the vase … “Do you see the desk-door here? That’s where the symbols go!”
In it they find a third shape. That’s encouraging.
James looks up again to see a blue spot with a D on the airco.
Janice, curious as she is, looks into the basket “Bingo! Another shape! How many do we have now?”
“Four”, James answers, “but no place to use them yet”.
“Let’s take a good look at them” Janice suggests.
James takes the shapes out of the inventory.
“Wait a minute …. where ….?? I know! High above the door in Jollys’ room!”

They run back and after using the shapes up right they spot a first-aid-kit with an A on it.
“AAHH, now I understand the pill in the C above the door!” James tries to change the shapes left of the clock and finds all objects that hold a letter in there. “We need to find a heart with a B on it”.

“And we need a key, and a number and a colour clue … sigh, this is tough”. Janice is getting rather anxious.
“Let’s call up Puffin, perhaps he can help us with the next step”.
“Good idea, James!” Janice takes her phone and yep, there’s the next clue!
“You won’t believe this James, we have to push the key out of the keyhole at the door and drag the rug towards us!” They are stunned, who would have thought to use the doorkey on the drawerblock in the office as well!
And … they are right, it can’t be used just like this.
They take a good look at it (about item) “Let’s try the cutters to take off a piece.”
James holds the key, while Janice uses the cutters on it.
Then James takes it out of inventory again, and now it fits! A syringe!

“let me do this ..” Janice walks to the four bottles all the way to the left and takes fluid out of them with the syringe.
“We have to read upside down, look: one is blue, two is yellow …” James is sure of it.
“No, I don’t think so”, Janice replies. “See the S on the syringe? That could stand for ‘start’!”
And she is right.
A needle is inside the drawer.

Now it gets tricky “can we really do this?” Janice hesitates.
“We have to, think of Jolly!” James replies. He takes the needle and sticks it into the green infusion-bag, hanging at the right side in the second room.
“But what is this the clue for?” Janice is puzzled.
“I know!” James replies, “remember the plasters up high in the office?”
“Of course”, Janice answers, “large to small means the left one is put on three, the middle one on two!”
A sugar meter is theirs. James frowns his forehead .. “that’s a weird place to keep it”.

“Janice ..! James ..!” Jolly needs help.
They use the needle on his hand and take a blood-sample with the sugar-meter.
No idea what the outcome does to Jolly Boy, but it is very useful on the desk.
“The B-heart!”

A-B-C D-E … James puts the shapes up high above the door in the correct order.
And there is the oxygen mask Jolly so desperately needs.
Immediately he falls asleep.
That’s healthy.

James and Janice stay with him for a little while, then they clean up the mess they made.
They say goodbye to the other patient and quietly leave.
Get well soon, Jolly Boy !!

This kid has diabetes =\
