Today is 10th anniversary and birthday of our site. In 24th January in 2006, we created this site to post and share escape games that we played. But we never thought it will be popular site in all around the world in short time. Millions of escapers visited and played escape games on our site until now in 10 years. We made this site big and known together and so it is all of our site to have fun in our free times. Until now we have posted and shared more than 25 thousands of games with our visitors. Our users have written more than 1 millions of comments. And our site has been visited near 400 millions of time until now. We made this site as a community together instead of just a normal site. We made many friends in there and even some of our users met and married here. We are proud about all of these for having this site and playing escape games together with our friends. Thanks for all of your support until now. Our site is nothing without you. At this site I really fell in love with and learned how to solve escape games and puzzles/riddles. This walkthrough-page is a great thing.

OMG It's been 10 years already? I remember when I first found out about this site and I really loved it because it was the only one that posted the very newest escape games. I spent so much time just following all the great escapers without ever posting a comment until a finally had the courage to do so and I'll never regret that decision. golly...hard to believe it's been 10 years...wasn't here in the beginning but you've made the last eight enjoyable ones for me...thank you so for all of the hard work you do and all of the fun you toss our way...to ten more! ...and, thanks to all of the players who light the way for those of us found stuck now and again...it's a comfort knowing that dazz ley, small tool, just1(by the way brilliant walkthrough for submachine10), bandytrc, et al are here to save the day.
Ten years!!!! been here in one guise or another since the start, I'm going to put a damper on things...it's not as good as it used to be. Lot of old ones have disappeared. The "conveyer belt" games which appear more and more, I just ignore them whereas I used to refresh the page countless times to catch the newest games.
Congrats on your 10th birthday, thanks for all the great games and thanks to all the players who leave much needed hints for me.

Wow, have I wasted a lot of time here over the years! Happy 10th. Thanks for curating everything here so I don't have to go searching for the good stuff. Especially when new Tesshi-e comes out! And for keeping the chat feature for friendly hints. Everyone here is helpful and polite.
Yalçin, you have all my admiration. This site you created is so addictive that I find myself, as many other escapers, playing daily at these fascinating games - even when I shouldn't! I may have been here only for four or five years, but I am nonetheless one of the greatest fans of this site. May it continue to give us as much pleasure for years to come, and I join zoz in wishing you: "doğumgünün kutlu olsun".
And what to say about all those gameplaying-meisters on whom we so often rely - naming a couple of you would not do justice to your whole community, but remembering my first year as an escaper, I would like to say how much I enjoyed the walkthroughs posted by premiere, and remembering my first steps in these strange landscapes, I would like to thank in particular s-t and jon for their benevolent first comments.

EG24 to me is the most popular site run by the respective grand site owner for years, for not only it gathered players from different places to play and communicate with each other over the games,but every since I joined in I feel I know a lot of people worldwide.

Happy Birthday EG24! Thanks to the admins for collecting tons of games and your efforts with this site. Somewhere I read about sites recommended to spend some time on and tried this. I remember my first game here: SSSG 8 (Sneaky in New York), so it must have been at the beginning of January 2007. Over the years EG24 has become one of the few web pages I always visit when I'm online.
My next thanks goes to the developers for giving us so many hours of fun and brain teasing. Sad to know that some like Gamershood have disappeared but others have come.
But the most important feature is the community. All those people who are there helping when you're stuck or just making some jokes or wishing a nice day, and it just doesn't matter who you are, where you are from ore what profession you have. Looking forward for the next years, my friends!

I enjoy my escape game with coffee every morning! Personally, it has been there for me through many ups and downs these past 10 yrs. Having a difficult time...let's see the new escape games for the day.
I have watched the game masters produce some of those most fun and intricate, pieces of art I have ever played. You really put your work in and I applaud you all!

My apologies, I posted my congratulations without reading the comments prior. It saddens me to hear about Swiss Miss, She was always good fun and helpful. I have been playing escape games here since late 2005-'06 and I had never really thought about how long it's been....wow. Even though we don't know one another we do connect in this one place.

@arrie As long it keeps to a certain extent, it is OK in public, in my book. It's legit to tell *that* she passed and *when*, but NOT necessarily the cause. The latter would be private. I do distinguish these fields, so sit comfortably. :)
Hm, what to say... Since the Viridan room (I think it was Viridian or maybe some other color) as a beggining of the room escape games as we know nowadays, I am a great fan. It reminds me of days, when I was just a child and a majority of games were adventure games, where you still had to write an order to your character (in english). This was a time I learnt (very) basic english and the games were Police Quest I, Space quest I, Kings quest I and Larry I.
I think I came to this site around 2010, previously I was regular on some other site, which is now more or less abandoned... but I realy enjoy the community, especially the "old" legends of this site (you know hwo you are:). I hope that in all this years I helped at least someone to escape, as did the other forumites for me.

Some are gone forever and left a gap, yes, for me especially SwissMiss... we were living so close and always had plans to meet when she was coming nearby... it would have been possible only for a coffee, so near... but then, in her last time here on earth I had to realize that it's too late...

Yikes! Crimson room and viridian room were the first games I played and what got me into escape games. not clever enough to finish most games without generous help of the other players. Thank you so much for a great site and long may you continue!

Wow @Bon @zoe, so you guys started earlier than me! The first game I have memories of playing was Jobpico (from Gotmail - too bad they don't make games anymore) and that was 01/2008, so 8 years ago. Really high quality game even for today's developers. LOL, it was very challenging for a beginner like myself.

For people like me who live in rural areas with slow download, it takes FOREVER to load a single page just to see a 2-star rating and know it's not something I want to play. You're welcome just ... I wouldn't tell Yalcin that it was me who coded it. That's because the removal of rating stars on the index page was __intentional__, not by chance. It'd be like ProxTube: musical authorities ban clips, and ProxTube circumvents the ban again.

May I add something else: I think this is one of few Internet sites that GIRLS frequently visit (apart from Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, haha). I lived in times when girls and woman couldn't think of anything more dull and boring than computer games.

One of my all time favorite websites & visiting it is a must daily but what I don't like is that game makers are not making scary horror games like the old days why? I still play over & over some epic games like exmortis & the stone of anamara & so many great others & I linked your website in my blog to make it even more popular. I wish for you guys a very happy birthday or anniversary & of course more successful. Just think about posting & encouraging game makers to make scary games.

at this time I was experiencing very hard times, so didn't post at all, not even to congratulate (*blushing of shame*)
& not even as premiere I once was...! :-o
now the secret is revealed, but as nobody will see this site again (except the admins ☻) I can out myself here ☺

as I can see in statistics for the EG24 site, there are thousands of ppl playing silently in the background
