Gray brick tower goes in 1st scene, bottom left.

can't figure out where anything goes or how to set the clock

Stone tomb goes in 4th scene.

house ruins goes above picnic tables

The roman numerals are for the clock (in rooms 5 & 6).

Tusk goes in last scene, left side.

stacks of stones disappear behind tree

ty Maximom

Hi Beckster, YW!

Stone necklace goes in scene 5, in between tree limbs.

Gold pillar goes in barrel/clock scene, right side.

still don't know how to set clock or where to use the 7 and 11 from roman numerals

setting the barrels according to last set of directions opens spaces in first screen to put the minions and the ancient cups

have to get my son in bed. will be back in 30 minutes

Beckster, for the clock, put the "big hand" on the VII and the small hand on the XI. You will need to set and reset the clock several times. After you set the clock the 1st time, search the scenes for inventory items. Then move the big hand off the VII and place as many inventory items as you can. Then reset the clock time again, p-up more inventory, repeat.........

Going in

Hi Gika!

Hints: Scene 1 directions for barrels give you the clock; Scene 4 directions for barrels give you a blank brown paper in scene 1; Last scene directions open up spots for items.

I'm not getting the open spots when I reorient the barrels. :/

Omg! So many items

Hello again Maximom!

I don't remember getting the clock from barrels.

Ok this is bizarre. The directions in scene 1 opened up the directions for me after I reset the clock.

For setting the barrels, note the little nub on the bottom, it should be pointing in the direction you want. So to get the clock, point the barrels: E W N3 SW. The clock will appear if done correctly.

I did notice that after items are placed in the 1st scene, that the directions in scene 5 don't seem to open spots in that scene anymore.

The open slots disappear when you reset the clock back and forth.

It also would've helped if I actually set the clock on XI instead of IX. *facepalm*

Lizzie, it wouldn't be CG8 if something wasn't bizarre!

I'm still missing some key items for scenes. Managed to place a few of the "Dogs Jewelry" in the final scene by luck. But I only have placed the one bone/horn thing, so there are no item spots showing up in that scene.

Thanks Maximom---I used the barrels for SWNE and forgot about the other clue.

Max, I know, right?
And what am I supposed to do with the cherry, scissors, hammer, knife, and ugly face?

...and the crystal ball, ink well...

Anyway, I am stuck, temporarily I hope.

Scene 1: Placed 2 stone towers, 8 minions, 4 cups

Scene 2: Placed 2 green houses, 3 crocks, 2 bowls

Scene 3: Placed 1 gold tower

Scene 4: Placed 2 tombstones, 6 double pillars

Scene 5: Placed 1 stone necklace, 6 stacked stones

Scene 6: Placed 2 tusks, 2 dogs, 1 pigeon

Have 2 dogs in inventory plus the water bucket, face, ink, knife, hammer, cherries, scissors

There must be another golden pillar somewhere...

@Maximom, where'd you find the second tusk?

Oh yes, I have a crystal ball, too, for all the good it is doing me. I found everything by switching times back and forth on the clock, placing items which leads to more items appearing in different scenes, setting the barrels to different directions.

I am concerned about the blank paper in scene 1. As I recall there was another one of these games not so long ago that we couldn't finish because of the that clue paper not working.

POP! Found the tusk with the barrels set to S-W-N-E.

I usually like these games. The last one was a debacle. And don't get me started on that three-scene mess the other day. I'm sure one of the developers was like, "Imma let my 9-year-old design this one! LOLOLOL"

Oh, Lizzie, I was just getting ready to post that they handed this off to a 10 year old!

@Lizzie + @Maximom, I don't know about that. I think most 9 or 10 year-olds these days are more tech savvy and could code/develop a more stable game. (:

HAHAHA! It's funny because my 10-year-old loves escape games & my 16 yo is designing a video game by himself.

Seraku--you are so right.

I'm going to have to X this one. Yet another CG8 wasting my free time.

Good point, Seraku! :)

I am going to give it another 5 minutes.

Not enjoying this game.
Thanks for the nice company everyone :)

OK I give up. This one is just too much on my tired brain. Good luck everyone!

Going through the walkthoughs on EG24, it looks like the last game like this one was Ancient Site Ruins Escape. Reviewing that w/t to see if I can get any ideas.

Made my 2 dogs disappear in clock scene, one over barrels, on left of yellow tower.

There should be a total of 45 items to collect.

I don't know what else I can do to finish this game so I am quitting.
