And out! It was very easy.

Hidden note in fireplace to left of princess

Kill her! Kill her! REDRUM REDRUM

Combine lightning bold and magnifying glass in inventory.

Give broom to witch outside (far left scene).

Snowflakes didn't work first time for me. Took back and replaced and it worked. Not sure why combining statue and wings in inventory produced key, but am out. No problem finding 20 coins.

Maybe snowflakes had to do with fireplace clue, which I never used.

Clue for the coloured snowflakes was above the princess - the colour order was indicated by the red directional arrow.
