Knife on apple for key
Drawer below 6-number drawer also opens.
Knife also on cushion for 5-colour hint.
Take care to spot flowers for puzzle in start scene - some are really tiny.
Dip brush in pot (start scene) then use on 3x3 grid in right room.
Use 3x3 grid hint on stars in start scene.
Use towel on mirror (room where you place lamps).
Empty jug into bath for 3 red flowers.

Ah - clue for red flower puzzle is from two triangles (different rooms) with gold circles.
where is the knife? have brush, flowers used towel and placed two sheilds
Placing all 6 lamps gives key - new rooms.
did not realize you could open right door without a key.

@Robin: I think the knife was either lying on chair in bedroom or came from clicking on sack or box that was lying around.
Use hammer on crate (new scene) for hint to 3x3 symbol puzzle (start scene).
Robin, knife is in bag, through right door
Sword from 9 symbols puzzle.
Use knife, for 3rd time, on large paint pot in room with 'flowery' bath.
Use knife on yellow sofa seat cushion
Sword no.2 from 4-number puzzle.
Sneaky panel below place where swords placed.
Key behind statuette in room with hexagons puzzle.
3rd sword in drawer below statuette.

The three 3-digit clues in various rooms are for the hexagon puzzle.

Need one more can/pot for windowsill in yellow sofa room.

meth, the clue for flowers, was using the towel on the mirror in left room from start

Well I dunno, despite your help, I can't find that towel anywhere. Someone has been tidying up for me! Doesn't matter, since I did all the puzzles, I'll leave it at that.
