  6. sigh... I'm missing the good old days when people were posting hints not only comments on how much they liked the game...

Anyway, if someone is a bit stumped because of the hint on the plant pot after placing it in front of the window: look at the leaves of the plant! This combined with the arrow line gives the hint for the up and down arrow safe.

  7. Escapism, you said some true words. On the one hand people complain there are almost half walkthroughs within ten minutes after publishing a game, on the other hand they may be stuck and don't find a clue to get on. You can't please everybody.

Games regularly played in teamwork like WOW or BEG are commented step by step, others like these or G2J aren't as you normally get through if you search long enough.

Generally I agree to you, I see that when I play old games from my favourite developers.

  8. meritneith, I still can't understand those people who complain about hints. I only read the comments when I get stuck. And then there can't be enough hints for me. But this is an old discussion that might find no real solution.

I just wanted to express my feelings of frustration. ;-)

  9. For the leaves, there are seven moves, so the first move is also the last!

  10. Leaf hint: You have to click the first one again.

  11. I agree about the hint problem meritneith and escapism. Thank you for yours!

  12. Out, cups and star following number on lamp

  13. Zoran, see kevaus' comment from 11:40. Zoom out and you see not only the cups but another shape above them. For the order combine them with the colour hint from the blind.

  14. I second escapism's & merit's opinion

I agree with you both. Since most of the games link to these threads when you hit the "walkthrough" button, it only makes sense that this is the place where walkthroughs should be posted. How quickly that happens is entirely up to the people willing to write them up, and they should not be disparaged for doing so no matter when they do it.

  20. The problem about giving away the answers is that in some browsers, you get to see the first comments when the page loads and you go to click on the link. So whether you like it or not, you see the solution. People should be more considerate and type something irrelevant and then say the word SPOILER before blurting out the solution. We used to have members who would give hints instead of solutions. And then you had a great sense of pride working it out with that light nudge. Nowadays it is a contest of who will show off the most, I think. I also miss the old walkthroughs with the numbered steps - it took the people so much time to write and some of them made them entertaining, too! Anyway, with YouTube and some games including a link to their own video walkthrough, there is not much need for the old game play.

  21. Well, this is not my day to be clever; All I found was a lampshade, and a lot of potential places for things, but few clues. So just a bit more help to get started? Don't spoil, but just an idea where I should look next would be great :)

    ReplyDelete
  22. Paully, you still here? put lampshade on, above table, switch light on, gives the order to press in 1st scene

    ReplyDelete
  23. Well, I didn't want to look at the video, but had no choice - clicking the linght switch was tricky; everything else was a logical piece of cake :)

  30. i disagree, leaves was easy (see advices given before), but some more hints would have been fine (had to watch the video WT).

  31. Not sure what a kofod is, but maybe they might find other games more to their liking.

    Some hints;

When you find the trowel, don't forget the pot they were in.

After placing the potted plant, remember plants need sunlight.

When the cups are on the table, the lamp shade is the third clue. Close the blind again for the order.

  33. *facepalm*

Seems simple, don't read the page if you don't want hints. Read the page if you do want hints. Apparently, Tania's eyes force her to read the first comment and it gives away THE WHOLE GAME.

    lol

  34. Excellent game, I love these. I did fool myself thinking the size of the colored circles was relevant. They're not.
