I can't progress from room 4.....
Same place as you, 3MPS. Used water on fire to no effect. Can't find place to use flashlight.
I used water bottle on fire and the bottle disappeared. Have you noticed the coloured squares in each room?
Yes, I thought the squares might be for a puzzle in the last room if we ever get there. Tried everything on everything to reveal another key. Either I didn't try the right everything or game is bugged. Could be the fire hid another key.

well I've just started anyway which is most unlike me. I can't even see how to get out of room 2 yet!

I see the key (now) but looks I haven't found the right item
so far I have fishing rod, rock breaker, laser gun, glass breaker and a wrench
just restarted and now it lets me take the key
grrrrrrr
now i"m into room 5!

Now room 7- placed everything I can find but still missing one oval thing- the "picture"
in the centre of th epicture in room 4 is the red table. Just above this in the centre was a glass? shield. I'm not sure if I broke that with the glass breaker, rock breaker, laser or what but it was behind there

In room 3, to the left of the pink color there is a gray square (on the bed). On it (I do not remember what subject) to knock.
Another finishable GB game. Some of the tools were used in somewhat bizarre ways, but a little trial and error gets you to the answer fast enough. The color puzzle is tough, but once you know what you are looking for it is at least solvable. The biggest I had was the teeny tiny little objects that appeared once you solved a puzzle; some of them were ridiculously small.

In scene 6, the key behind the black rectangle (it seems) is located. Like a flashlight on it. I still found the last oval). I played a 150 increase.
Hey Forgotten one-
when you say it is finishable does that mean you actually finished it or just nearly finished it?. I see nobody has said where the final oval pcture is
@Enzed: I actually finished. The Oval Pictures are in the following locations:
Room 2 - Middle of screen
Room 3 - Beneath the computer board (use screwdriver)
Room 4 - Beneath the grey square (where you used the rockbreaker to expose the key). This one is supersmall and easy to miss.
Room 5 - Two of them at the top of the screen half-hidden by the inventory bar
Room 7 - Two on the bar, one above the bar after you solve the color puzzle
