tricky - date is in not allowed, note the positions for 5#code

Man, I have been fooled by the coloured numbers. I tried all combinations from the bulbs above grandpa but it seems that's a red herring. Just count bulbs in start scene!

You mean the word date or the 23? Let me check that.

Got it, that was tricky. Good find.

Plant from sowing the seeds and watering them gives clue to get into house in start scene.

Got it. I've been had by coloured numbers again, this time in start scene house where not the shown numbers are the clue but the order from the bulbs I mentioned earlier.

Okay, final number for pad comes from the animals paper (count letters). Sneaky game, harder than it looks first. Enjoyable though, thanks NSR.
