BestEscapeGames - BEG Retrieval From The Curse Escape is another point and click escape game developed by Best Escape Games. Help Kevin to retrieve his friend from his curse. Darren and Kevin are two best friends living in a village by cutting trees. One day, Darren and Kevin were early to work and went deep down to the forest for more trees. There, Darren saw a giant tree near the river and cut it off at once. The tree was a home to the magical ants, which lives in that tree over a few centuries. The king ant curse Darren to become an ant to live their life as an eternity. Darren felt bad and asked the king to retrieve the curse. The king ant forgave Darren and told the way to return as a human. But, Darren cannot do alone in his ant body and he needs Kevin to assist him. Hi all! This time there's a manual before game starting. Cartoon style with quite a lot of scenes but no map.
Clue for tree puzzle on signpost is on the ground in 2nd scene from left, that with big rock.

IIRC I got a bug from the tree puzzle which is used in forelast scene to the right for a magic wand.
10 crowns needed for the portal thingy you make with the magic stick.

ah, cauldron is to collect, but the insects don't go in...

Star/moon puzzle was not so hard as I thought first. But there were two very similar kind of blues.

8 red diamonds needed for the mask/statue (from using second magic stick to make a magic stone to break something).
with a magic stick, everything is possible & even more with a 2nd one...!
Wouldn't it be easier to keep the first wand instead of wasting them and searching new ones?
I remember we had this kind of puzzle (2nd scene, tree) some time before. I usually fail there.
Just wanted to tell I've got one gem in right position.
Fireball (from 4 digits) is just the second purple ball. Just click it, no items/tools needed to make it so.
Magic crystal needs 5 pink balls. I only got 4, was there a very sneaky one somewhere?

Okay, this was really easy.
Couldn't join you this morning. Something disastrous has happened to my internet speed (again!) and I gave up after trying to load the game for 20 minutes.

Out too now. I tell you what: I liked this game (thanks BEG!). Of course I prefer the classical ones but I could do everything more or less quickly on my own, that makes me feel smart.

Got it loaded and completed in the end. A thing that held me up for quite a time was not spotting a knife in the cauldron scene.
Stupid game, have to zoom in and out constantly. Collect too much stuff. Boring.
