The witch's mountain is very intimidating. There is a little pretty witch. The aged wizards are planning to kill the little witch. It is your duty to save the little witch from their place. Place to use that key gives a frog, place to use 594 gives the other frog.

totally overlooked the SGTF hint - got shovel now

knive was used on the ball in the inventory

(ball = "striped candy") - everything fell into places from there on (OUT, 4 stars!)
