WowEscape - Wow Scary October Escape is another point and click room escape game developed by Wow Escape. In this game, you came to see the beauty of a forest which is located outer of your city. But unfortunately, you missed the way out. Being a Halloween time, the place looks very scary. You have to find the way to escape by finding useful objects, hints and solving puzzles. woodpecker gives clue for 5 grinning pumpkins

The piece of wood you pick up is actually part of a 2-part puzzle. You can use it on some of the mushrooms in the scene where you place the skulls, and then use what you find in the scene below.

Pumpkin clue on tree branch is for number box in early scenes.

Click blank signpost, gives color code for skulls for portal to next set of scenes.

That clue that Sugarcrush mentioned is very subtle.

Some of the witches you find are part of the game, some aren't. You should check each one out.

Mac, do you recall where the 3 candles were? I am missing one and I've been trying everything on everything lol

Laila, I remember getting a candle by clicking a hard-to-see hole next to a witch. Start scene, I believe.

Nevermind! figured it out :) Tricky face counting

The three candles are (spoiler):

In a hole by one of the witches
In a pumpkin in the number box scene (use knife)
In the number box - use clue from scene above (count the number of lit spaces in each pumpkin)

5#: hint are the 5 pumpkins in 1st door sc where 2 of them are grinning, count the carved peices

The number box clue was very obscure. Then the orange bat got stuck on my mouse pointer. meh.

Still have a green hand, a pumpkin and a purple hat.

Skeletons - clue from the first set of scenes :-) Gives last bat!

Not too bad except for the 5 number clue.
