my last rings were from vase

Was able to get rings from vase without breaking it with the hammer. One of the items in my inventory disappeared (the blue blob from the picture of the girls with the blue dress). No idea if that was supposed to be used on something for my final rings, or if I'm just missing a hotspot somewhere.

Got last ring from brown vase. No idea what the blue blob was for that disappeared from my inventory. I evidently used it on something without knowing.
