The 4 santas on the sign are all slightly different - match them up with their shadows.
pile of colored christmas balls (red, purple, blue, yellow): you have to connect all balls with same color. but there is only 1 solution...

Cutting the heel off the soc yields a clue related to spades, clubs and diamonds - but i can't figure ut how to apply it to the 3 wheels.

Just got the solution for the colored balls that Hotz describes (from placing 5 "1" and "2" numbers), but you don't need it.
Mac, I was confused about the card suit clue as well. Since there are 3 wheels, there may be more than 1 clue scattered around the game. I'm still in the 1st set of scenes.

Finally found the sneaky 2 in candy cane scene, which contains the clue for the colored balls. Behind a bush above the ice block.

Nuts, got the clue for the cross grid. Putting that off for a while.
Sneaky spot on side of house in far left scene, second set.
for second water hotspot: you will get an umbrella near the end...
For the 4 blue holiday balls in the river scene, be sure to count the number of balls on each item of the clue.
Out! The cross grid wasn't as bad as I was expecting. Would have been worse if you turned the crosses.

Ah - breakthrough! Use the pickaxe on the circular part of the 2 white pillars in the cross puzzle scene.

what is the metal rod used for?
rod is used on pile of snow in third(?) set of scenes.
