Trying to figure out the 4,0 thing from the wall clue. Used the paintbrush and saw the 2x2 grid in the bathroom where you dip the skirt. Can't relate them though.
got it, use the cross as an x,y grid & mark the coordinates, ie: -2, 2 would be 2 to the left & 2 up

Clue for dice (3rd set of scenes) in panels above couch where you place 3 green mugs. Dice gives escape key.

Hotz, have you seen the clue? If you compare one side of the grid with the other, 3 numbers are the same. It's the ones that are different you need to make a note of. So -
1, 2
2, -1
-2, -1
-2, 2
These are X Y co-ordinates X = horizontal Y = vertical.

thank you melody. comparing left and right squares to get 4 pairs of number!!!! that was the important hint!!
in 4,0- clue in top and bottom sqaures are the same numbers and I couldn't see any logic...

5 stars because there were lots of thoughtful puzzles, but hated, hated, hated the x,y coordinate puzzle and would never have figured it out or understood it.
