Epresto Riddle of Doors is another riddle game developed by Epresto. «When you think you have found the answer to a level, change the url by replacing the previous answer with the new answer. If the answer is right, you will get to the next level, otherwise you will get a page which says: <error 404> (that darn cat!!!). not sure why R16 has me so stumped, I applied the egg to the main page, get 5 letters from egg, just cant seem to dial it in from there. granny isn't helping, tried just changing reality but that didn't work either... what am I overlooking or overthinking?
I see that the egg now reads "." is a "." but I guess I am not sure how to apply that, applied it to reality and visited granny that wasn't it, used it just as it reads with those 5 letters and granny didn't help tried the 31 she suggested and nothing, what am I missing?

Robin, try counting the number of words in the original picture.
I counted words and letters, know the words count is familiar and see how reality is fantasy, counted all letters and have five letters that seem to fit the count, but doesn't work.... tried counting the letters from the egg and don't get a word, I must be missing a step somewhere??

is it just 5 letters that I am looking for? maybe I am wasting my time counting and recounting the same things over and over?
robin, if you know what the words on the front page represent, look at the position of the 4 egg words, those 4 numbers converted should do the trick

R17 - I need some help please. I found the name of the show and got two eggs (text and pic). I've read tips about the "shape of the right" and about some "number in the left" but I dont understand these hints.

You need to find a word (not a number). If you google the shape on the right with the name of the show, that should get you the answer.

Arrie you will only need one letter from each word but you have to do what the text tells to each word first.
R24, apply what the level says to the whole word (each of them, did you notice the parity of letters?) and then pick one from each.

R20, you're doing it the wrong direction. Try to think transversely.
The tool you're using is probably the correct one.

Puzzled, you seem to know that the number of things across is significant. Now if you were to go the other direction as one long path and then split that path into that significant number you should begin to see something.

Lisa King, you have the words and you have levels use one on the other. The word seems too short just go back to it's beginning and keep going.

I know that I need a septet of letters, however, the windows are imperfect which leads me to draw different conclusions.

Sounds like you're set then. I opened 5 tabs so I could switch easily & plotted what I saw on paper, one window at a time. Compare what you draw to the tool you're using, then let granny finish it for you

Meanwhile, I've been spinning my wheels on R20 since last night. Have read everything & understand how many and what direction to travel. Doing something wrong or using the wrong tool as I don't always get a letter. Don't have a good grasp of the subject matter of the egg, so have been lost from that point on...

I can only suggest:
1. Make sure your w/b assumption is right.
2. Make sure you know how many steps you need.
3. Colum by column N->s l->r use your steps (don't go around making fancy paths as I did (one was like a whirlpool, I swear).
4. Grey tiles. Play with them. Sometimes they are light or dark, who knows. Never ever trust a grey tile.
5. I admit I had to visit Granny at the end.
My cat did it. You can too :)
