Not difficult to get into the house. When you get a book with 4 round symbols of different designs, use them in a "Z" pattern in the puzzle (which are 4 spots in a row). Use from book: top left, then top right, then bottom left, then bottom right.

Goldfish food for tub outside in start scene.

Use lighter on tissue, turns into charcoal. Use it on 2nd book you get from the library (after you do house puzzle to get into the library). :)

Dishes in kitchen for number puzzle on cabinet in the library. Disregard colors of dishes.

Final puzzle is a bit of a PAIN.
