How did they get 638 out of the triangle clue?

don't understand the puzzle with 9 digits, even with the WT. An explanation please ? Thanks. I'm stuck there.

Oh it took me some time but I've got it : in each row and column the number of remaining dark lines is the number of digits you have to change.

letmeout the triangles are counted, but the middle and the big triangle are also counted
