Math was this time beyond my abilities, checked the solution and think I understood it, is it like the right column is just consecutive natural numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, etc.? There is some logic, of course, but it's really confusing, because if you put 4 instead of that question mark, then the same 4 should be already the answer. The question mark in games indicates always the expected answer. You have to write it some other way. Maybe something like that:

4, 6, _ = ?
