  1. Patty you have something from the source page. That's the thing you'll see in a photo editing software. I used GIMP. The title tells you how to form the answer.

    ReplyDelete
  2. Patty, I was too tired last night to picture exactly what you had. There is another way of expressing RGB values, as indicated by the title.

  4. 65 I'm not getting started. I've various things with the numbers. I've seen the hint about going home, and tried t**_p**** there. That suggests that I should be doing the same thing on this level, but it's not working.

    ReplyDelete
  5. 47. Haven't gotten anywhere. Have the 6 digit codes for all colors in pic. Thought I needed to use only the RGB (as hinted in title). Using the title took 1st 2 from R, 2nd 2 from G, & 3rd 2 from B. This gave me fefff8 which doesn't lead anywhere. Anyway I'm obviously not doing it correctly. I was using color pick site; do I need a total RGB value for whole pic instead of each color??

    ReplyDelete
  6. minkie - did you check the pic from t**_p**** page? That should give you on the number of each meal ordered. You should get another egg using the total price :)

    ReplyDelete
  7. Patty - are you on the level where source hint says c******s? If so, you may want to use the following tool to analyze the level pic :)

    https://www.dcode.fr/rgb-channels

    ReplyDelete
  8. Thank you, aaaasa! I was googling rgb channels, but not coming up with a decoder! Now, off to a maze??

    ReplyDelete
  9. Thanks aaaasa. But I'm still not getting anywhere. I have already tried to look at the pic back on the home page (it's minute and seems to contain nothing) and at its file info. Got nothing from that. If I try to repeat the process here, by using t**_p**** or p****_the to get either a page or a pic, I just get 404 errors.

    ReplyDelete
  10. minkie - did you find from the pic info a string that starts with 30x1? Use the string on the pic of lvl 65 (e.g. 30x1 = 30 of meal 1), then calculate the total price to get an egg

    ReplyDelete
  11. omg! I must have looked at that info page dozens of times, and always skipped over that line. Thank you for being so patient aaaasa.

    ReplyDelete
  12. 49. Been playing with this one for a while. Know the pixel size of image and white square. But don't know what to do with that info. Nord says something about "got the number??
now, do the same it was done to the lvl number to get '7'". So I tried 170squared.jpg & .htm with no luck. Are my px wrong?

    ReplyDelete
  13. One out, Patty. Think "square".

  15. Minkie, sorry your hint is over my head?

    ReplyDelete
  16. The last bit was redundant really Patty. As I said, you were one pixel out.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Thanks, I was trying your suggestion with "square"! Now to see if I can find my way with 2nd image.

  19. Minikie. Not sure how you got the new table. But the answer is from the old one. Check again the letter corresponding to no. 5.

    ReplyDelete
  20. You are quite right Laa. A stupid typing error. I'm too tired to check out the implications now. Onwards tomorrow.

  22. 67 Still in part a. I'm staring at a ridiculous number of W's and 1's and have no idea what to do. I've tried numerous 4-letter words. I can't find an 8-letter one.

    ReplyDelete
  23. minkie - you need a 4-letter word. each color gives you 2 sets of coordinates which in turn convert into 1 set of coordinate.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Happy Fathers' Day to all Dads!

    50. I have the 2) LLR... hint from image info. But I know there is supposed to be one in the darkness. The little icon bottom right of photo looks like a windows icon, but I don't know it. Couldn't find much about this level on Nord which really started me off on the wrong path in 49 dropping the tiles into the black hole. Thank heaven for Minkie's hint of being like a slider puzzle.
Anyway, I guess there are 7 total LR lines to find, I have 1,2,6. Where do I go from here?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Yay thanks aaaasa. But now cubed, YIKES. To work.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Patty. Forgot to bookmark the page before this one, so I will go back to find it. The little icon is for a program you used in 45 and earlier when it caused your computer to freeze.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Patty, when you get something to open in that program, you will find darkness there as well.

    ReplyDelete
  28. 68 Lol. I never expected that to work!

    ReplyDelete
  29. 50. Don't know if I used the program from photo, but I found 3) in the photo using image in my pages program. That was in photo and I need 5 & 7 from "elsewhere darkness". So that must be the photo icon I don't know. and 4. Hint for icon? I froze with audacity, mp3, the shipboard site to name a few.

    ReplyDelete
  30. 50 I think you also froze when you were looking for letters in an enormous spreadsheet.

    ReplyDelete
  31. 69 Too many variable of where to look and what to look for. I'll try again tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Your memory is better than mine, Minkie! So I have the maze and uncovered the hidden letters in it. But I need some instruction for the maze other than what's written; so there are multiple paths. Will that come later? I can't make any sentences as I go through it. Is the point to try and hit all the letters in it?? Found 7) in the darkness, but not 4 or 5. 7) looks quite different?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Wow! Minkie, you are about thru. Great work!

    ReplyDelete
  34. 50. Am I going to be using the LR rules to go thru maze?? Definitely need 4 & 5 then!

    ReplyDelete
  35. 5 is in the maze too. And you know where to find INFO for 4.

I'm a long way from through Patty. I may find 69 impossible.

    ReplyDelete
  36. And you will need granny, Patty. I don't think I did it quite right, but I made a start, then added two letters I was sure of, then BFd.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Can't find 5 unless it is in the white inside maze. And I just had an AHA moment and found 4 with your hint! Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Patty, I selected the whole sheet and changed the font colour to red. It showed up then.

    ReplyDelete
  39. 69 I've come back to worry at this. When I open the new m** file, which is slightly longer than the old one as a text file, I'm seeing a level on the first line. Should this help me, cos it hasn't so far :/

    ReplyDelete
  40. 50. Interesting, I had changed the color of the black cells to yellow and had an entirely different set of letters revealed. That's why I thought 7 looked so strange. I had just a string of alphabets. Should be able to go to work now. See you later. I need to start rehabbing a horse that pulled a tendon and should be healed as well as it ever will be.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Minikie you spotted the difference? Go to the original path and find something related to the level title. Change the htm and advance to 69b :)

    ReplyDelete
  42. Thanks Laa. That narrowed the field of possibilities. On 70 now.

    ReplyDelete
  43. 70 part1 I've got 6 m***t*** f**** and apparently I'm meant to be converting them to n******. I don't see how to do so in a useful way. I've tried various things with b*** ** (already used once to get an egg).

    ReplyDelete
  44. minkie - use each n***** to pick a letter from the corresponding word. No granny needed.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Thanks aaaasa. Never did get the numbers - :/ - but I've got the word now.

    ReplyDelete
  46. 51. Have read all the comments here and on Nord. Thought it was a matter of counting the digits on the cal. disp. But not coming up with a word. Have the egg from the date. But cannot find the 1 + 6 = * hint from the level page pic nor on the egg pic. I have tried enhancing the image as I did yesterday, but not finding anything. Also went to Jeffrey with image, and did an INFO search on file like level 50. But no luck finding it.

Kept meaning to mention yesterday, I feel like I'm back in KYD needing help on every level!!

    ReplyDelete
  47. You and me both Patty!

the hint is in the bottom left corner. You need to lighten the pic (on my mac there's a program called colorsync utility). I couldn't make it out and first and didn't use it. I made up my own rules about combining numbers, found 3 I was happy with and BFd from there. aaaasa probably knows the right way of doing it...

    ReplyDelete
  48. ps Patty. I've been looking back at my scrawls. I may have had 4 rather than 3 right at first. I got a mix of upper and lower case letters by approaching it graphically.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Thanks, Minkie. Found it. Now the hint about addition and elimination makes sense!

    ReplyDelete
  50. 70 I've decoded the numbers (list with a lot of negative numbers) and tried loads of possibilities. I've noticed that the first 6 characters of the decoded message appear in the page source in a way that they didn't on earlier levels. Is this important?

    ReplyDelete
  51. minkie - are you at lvl 70 part 2? I've only bookmarked the first and second to last page of part 2 so if you could let me know exactly where you are, maybe I can be of some help here :)

    ReplyDelete
  52. aaaasa I'm in 70 part 2, I think on the final page. The url is f*****.***. I have a string of green numbers, most of them negative. It sounds like you don't have the bookmark ...

    ReplyDelete
  53. Actually that's what I found in my bookmark (although I can't quite remember how I got there from page 1 of part 2 lol)

I assume you must have applied the background color to the numbers to get a string with symbols and letters right? In short, the first 6 symbols are telling you to remove 2 folders from the url, then all you need to do is to add the remaining part of the message to the url :)

    ReplyDelete
  54. Thanks aaaasa. I've been trying the right thing, but somehow doing it wrong. I guess it is the space in the message that is throwing me. I'll try again.

    ReplyDelete
  55. How many hours putting in lower case!!!! I'd been trained too well by s-t to avoid them in his riddles!
Thanks so much aaaasa for leading me through. It has been very generous of you to hang around.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Well done minkie :)

btw I kinda forgot about whether there is also an actual end so do let me know if you found anything beyond the C****** t** D*** page

    ReplyDelete
  57. There's bonus A and B, but I haven't found them yet. I know from Nordinho that B is found on one of the menu pages.

    ReplyDelete
  58. aaaasa. I've found bonus B. Distrust what he says!

    ReplyDelete
  59. I've got bonus B as well... The posts from Nordinho seems to suggest I need to apply source hint to the pic but not sure how to do that :/ Gonna call it a day and maybe try it tomorrow

    ReplyDelete
  60. I've had enough for today too. See you.

    ReplyDelete
  61. 55. Have the latin hint from 1 pic and code to decipher from 2nd pic, but no key. Is there anything else to find on 55valley.jpg than the coded letters? Tried to use dcode.fr V******* with no key option, but it didn't yield a result.

    ReplyDelete

  63. 56. Stopped here yesterday. Not knowing what to do. Is the info I need in the source? I looked at the pic and didn't find anything with either jeffrey or manipulation. I know I need a (birth)date and the title says to count UP, but from what. Hope the info is in that line of source that I can't link to. Will hope for a hint and work on it later today.

Good luck Minkie and aaaasa on finishing today. Look back here occasionally, I'll be slowly working my way thru. I hope.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Hi Patty. I think the embedded link in the source code may now be broken. Not sure. However there is enough info in that code to get what you are looking for.

I won't abandon you now! I'll keep checking back here (though I'm busy most of this afternoon and evening).

    ReplyDelete
  65. 56. So I assume I'm to use 1940, 9, . . . Know 1940 is a leap year. Need to count UP. I am clueless. Nord hint mentions American notation of date. To me that means month, date, year. But I don't see a month or a date. Gonna need a little more.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Patty - You've found the date you need (**/9/1940). No need to count, you just need to find out who was born on that date :)

    ReplyDelete
  67. Bonuses No progress here. When I add up all the cells in the pic I get one of the numbers in the hint, probably irrelevant. I've also been looking back at previous levels. Will work some more on that.
Level A - I've found it (by a downright cheat), but that's all. As a hint: among other things I tried were answers like findbonusa whereislevelA and so on (I got nothing). However, if I had thought about it I might have realised that once I the right answer, the verb would be in the past.

    ReplyDelete
  68. minkie - do I need to look at other levels to find Bonus A?

    ReplyDelete
  69. aaaasa. I don't think so. As I said I found it by cheating. I googled a sitesearch for everything in the riddle (first time I had sunk quite so low, lol) and the page showed up among a few others. If you don't want to do that, then the url starts with fou.

    ReplyDelete
  70. 57. Thanks aaaasa & Minkie for hints on 56. But now I think I need a computer lesson. Review; go back in time; outline of folder. Hint from Nord about cookies disabled and "hm... you dont need to go to past levels, but there's something in the pic that tells you what you need from previous levels."

What kind of folder do I need to find from what levels and how do I open them?? I'm not very computer savvy. So this may be over my head. I have not bookmarked any levels. Just have written notes and kept track of every time the .../50webs.com/**** changed. Saw mention of there were 8 eggs and I have 8 of the changes, if I didn't lose any. But plugging one in didn't give me anything with .htm suffix or a few others I tried. Am I very lost on that avenue? If so, where should I go?

    ReplyDelete
  71. Patty Only have time to drop in from time to time today, so I hope this isn't too late. Those 8 things are what you need, remaining as they are, with *********.htm after them. The htm is the last one you have used.

    ReplyDelete
  72. aaaasa Bonus B. I've had an idea that if you get a total of the first number in the second number of cells, doing the same thing on the coloured numbers might yield an O for the fifth one. I'm trying to do the same on the other ones at the moment.

    ReplyDelete
  73. minkie - I've got that as well and reached a page with only a number and Google search bar. Tried various answers related to p******* t**** but didn't work :/

    ReplyDelete
  74. I'm one page on from that aaaasa and stuck. You need to try out all the members of the p***** indicated.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Bonus B ps, I would start from the end and work backwards.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Bonus B on one more page now.

    ReplyDelete
  77. I'm still on the page with c******y... Should I look for the position of each of the lines in the source of that page?

    ReplyDelete
  78. It's not that aaaasa. Do you remember looking for pancakes in an American breakfast in one of S-Ts riddles? There were other funny names in that level, but I can't remember them.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Bonus B. Have you got that now aaaasa? I've been doing lots of fruitless additions on the next page, and I'm out of ideas.

    ReplyDelete
  80. minkie - I'm working on the *(*x*) page as well but haven't figured out the source hint yet :/ Maybe I should get back to searching Bonus A first

    ReplyDelete
  81. I've been switching between the two aaaasa. I'm still on the first page. I think I know why the title is important, and I've been trying to look into the history of computing to find something which would have worked back in 2006, but it's difficult to screen out later stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Oh, haven't you FOUND level a yet? 9 letters.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Tried different combinations like foundlvla, foundalvl, but none works. I remembered finding Bonus A in the past but didn't bookmark it somehow :/

    ReplyDelete
  84. Remember that in this riddle there is a difference between upper and lower case.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Found part 2 of Bonus A. the picture is a prison c***, google that together with the title result and you should know what to look for :)

    ReplyDelete
  86. That was quick! Thanks aaaasa. I'll work on that. I'd tried all sorts of things with the word c***, but I hadn't thought of combining it with the title :/

    ReplyDelete
  87. Bonus Tried various things to get beyond that first page, including obvious words, changing extension, c*** references. I take it it has to do with E***l. Could you give me another nudge?

    ReplyDelete
  88. You're on the right track here. Remember how you got the maze in lvl 50? :)

    ReplyDelete
  89. Don't know what I was doing wrong, must have made a typo, which is quite hard with so few characters!

    ReplyDelete
  90. No need to type anything. Simply change the extension of the level pic :)

    ReplyDelete
  91. Yes aaaasa, I've done that. It's just that I tried it earlier and got nothing, so a typo I suppose :/

    ReplyDelete
  92. Also I've made some progress on Bonus B thanks to a hint on Nordinho. Apply the source hint in the *(*x*) page on the colors in the main level and you should get 36 0s and Fs that can be divided into * blocks of *x* each

    ReplyDelete
  93. Ooh, thanks. I may abandon my colour coded spreadsheet for a while - it's making my eyes go crossed!

    ReplyDelete
  94. Thanks aaaasa. Bonus B on next page now. I take it we should ignore the spelling mistake (like in c*******y). And, no music ??? Just musing on that one.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Got to go. thanks for all your help again aaaasa

    ReplyDelete
  96. 59. Stuck here. Have 1 egg l****. Can't make a choice between a and b? Can't find 2nd egg. Have tried the usual things. Help!

    ReplyDelete
  97. Hi Patty. If you copy the a's and b's into word and colour code them, you may see something.

    ReplyDelete
  98. 62. Think I've been staring at the line of zeros and ones long enough. Have the C******* egg that reveals a string of 0 & 1s. Think I'm supposed to C" them, but don't know how. Also think I'm missing a 2nd egg, although the line of above mentioned 1s & 0s has 2. on it.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Patty. The first long string of 0s and 1s can be broken into blocks of 8 that spell out a message when decoded. Mind caps and lower case. Two words there may remind you of something you did on the broken picture level. I can't remember what word I used this hint on, and I'll see if I can find it.
The second lot of 0s and 1s spell out a message in a similar way to level 59. It is actually possible to solve the level by working with just this set of numbers. There are only a few ways of splitting up the numbers so that they make lines of equal length. (I did this by keeping them all as one paragraph in Word and adjusting the right hand margin to reduce or increase the line length.) Hope that makes sense.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Patty, on the level page you should spell out a message which gives you an E******** T** hint. You can use the hint on something in the source code for the same page.

    ReplyDelete
  101. 62. Worked on this last night and this a.m. Made zero progress. Here's what I know: Title translates to B*****...(significance to the dots?); source code line of 0s & 1s translates to I w*** a* E******** h** T**(don't know what that means nor how to apply it to source;
square of 0s & 1s translates to C******* that takes me to egg 2. with line of 0s & 1s that does not translate; I made a 35 x 8 square of it; tried it vertically to no avail. And here I sit???
Think I need egg 1, but don't know how to get it & hopefully that will let me build a better square on egg 2??

    ReplyDelete
  102. Patty - in the level with the broken pic there is also the hint T** E******, and you need to change the extension of the pic into something else. For level 62, apply the same method on the level pic to find another egg.

    ReplyDelete
  103. aaaasa, thank you. I now have egg 1, but what to do with it ?
I cannot translate it, if that's what I need to do. And I don't understand the 112 letter statement. Egg 2 has 280 digits. How to apply?

    ReplyDelete
  104. Patty - egg 1 has 112=14x8 letters, and the letters are either in upper case or lower case. I'm sure you can figure out how to convert the letters :)

    ReplyDelete
  105. 62. Sorry to be such a pain, I know what the egg 1 says. I've tried to e**** e**** **. Nord says to read the 1s but I don't see anything. I've done it on both the binary for egg 1 and egg 2, but can't read a thing. Is that the point? Do I need braille?? aaaasa and Minkie can tag team me! I need a lot of help.

    ReplyDelete
  106. You're not a pain Patty. Apart from this forum, I'm very short of compos mentis communication these days.
You don't need braille. You need to put in e**** e**** ** characters. Then colour code your 1s and 0s using search and replace (perhaps add a highlight on the replace for extra clarity). You should be able to read something.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Don't know about sanity especially with this riddle. I'm looking at the 28 x 10 block, yes? I've made the 1s bold, and the 0s very light gray. Nord mentions to read the 1s. I'll print it out and try to connect the 1s, maybe that will help. Just want to verify I've got the right block.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Patty. Are you sure you haven't concatenated 2 copies of that string? I've a 28 x 5 block.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Ack! That's what happens when I work at night. This a.m. I just checked to make sure the beginning and end were correct and didn't double check the middle! Somehow I had doubled it! Maybe I'll be able to read it now. Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  110. 63. I have no idea what is missing. Tried dvd,tv, or dvd. All buttons on remote look present. Nord no help except for mention of "I know what's missing d**", but I don't. Please leave a little hint and I'll tackle this one tomorrow with a clear (Ha!) head.

  112. Hi guys. I'm on level 70 part 2 (with 7*c*****.jpg). Note a n*****ve n***er on source page. Is it like 7*-* = 6*? Tried all the jpg but got nothing. A hint from Nordinho says the source code contains 3 important things. mp3, jpg, and -*?

    ReplyDelete
  113. Laa Yes, it is like 7*-* = 6*. Have you considered what code might be used here? If so, you may have wanted a bigger than normal grid.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Minkie I'm confused. What code for the math?

    ReplyDelete
  115. Laa, there's a code relating to the mp3. Search red luth's page for the name of that file. And listen to some "music" as well.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Thanks Minkie. Can't look for it at work now. Will find it out later.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Patty. I'm not sure what the clues were on 63 apart from what you have already found. I made a guess about jpgs (relates to the answer to the original pic) for part of it, which turned out to be right. For another part I used this hint from Nord: "When using its kind....stop the loading" You may need to google how to do this because I think it varies with different web browsers.

    ReplyDelete
  119. 63. Minkie, you must have foreseen my difficulty with this level. I have the two "d" eggs, and have been told to go B***. I've tried to change jpgs but not coming up with a thing. Personally, I thought the best answer would have been Aibo, Sony's robotic d**! I too saw the . . .stop the loading hint? But as of yet have nothing to stop.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Patty - look at the url of the page that tells you to go b***. It's g*****.htm not d********.htm, right? In fact, the "d" egg page is designed in such a way that as soon as you open it, it will redirect you to g*****.htm. So you need to find a way to check the "d" egg page's source hint without opening it.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Thanks, aaaasa! I have a great tag team!

  122. I've been staring at what I am told is the last step of Bonus A for days now and trying not to ask. I've tried various things with mp3, midi and jpg files that have appeared in the riddle. I also thought that the source code might be referring back to the level 51 egg. There is a comment in the exif info for that pic that I never used. Are either of these approaches likely to help me?

  123. 66. Read all hints. Several mention nos. in source "found a clue in the source (p**** : n****rs i guess?)" which I do not see. Know I'm using a magic s***** from 1848 of which there seem to be different numbers on. I've tried to just follow the knight moves on the board from 1 on, but that's not yielding any results. Also know most of the sentence I'm looking for, but knight moves haven't given those letters. Hence, I think I must be missing a string of nos.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Patty. I'm not quite clear exactly what you've got. If you follow the moves, you should get a string of 64 letters. You can use p****s to pick from those letters. Try reading what you now have, but not in the usual way.

    ReplyDelete
  125. I do not know what p**** is?

    ReplyDelete
  126. Ah. Look carefully at the source code. For example the familiar loop becomes ....?

    ReplyDelete
  127. All I see is looP and sRc. Don't get it or not seeing it.

    ReplyDelete
  128. There are three more before the search google bit. They are not all in tags.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Thank you, Minkie. I was looking at one color. That should do it.

    ReplyDelete
  130. 70 part 2. I'm working on the mp3. Should I make a new grid to decode? 8x7?

    ReplyDelete
  131. Laa - It's bigger than that and you have already seen the grid before :)

    ReplyDelete
  132. I think this post may have got lost further up, so I am putting it here again in the hope that someone (lol) may come to my aid.

I've been staring at what I am told is the last step of Bonus A for days now (URL M*****.***) and trying not to ask. I've tried various things with mp3, midi and jpg files that have appeared in the riddle. I also thought that the source code might be referring back to the level 51 egg. There is a comment in the exif info for that pic that I never used. Are either of these approaches likely to help me?

    ReplyDelete
  133. minkie - I think the source hint refers to the pics in the folder where the background music of most levels is located. The pics combined to show a word but that doesn't seem to be the right answer either.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Found those pics now. Thanks aaaasa.

    ReplyDelete
  135. 69. Grasping at straws. I see a difference--I***** t*** a*****. Is that what I'm supposed to see or should I not have gone back that far to compare?? Sounds like I need to look at directories?? and change htm to some m?? Again, not that computer savvy. Gonna need some spoon feeding.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Patty. If you hover over links in the page source, you see the folder path at the bottom left of the screen. There is a slight difference this time from earlier pages.

I then used this hint from Laa: "Minikie you spotted the difference? Go to the original path and find something related to the level title. Change the htm and advance to 69b :)"

You can look at the contents of some folders by typing in the path. e.g. neutralriddle.50webs.com/goon/

    ReplyDelete
  137. I hope the difference is the s on 68/69, not others that google. Is that it? But what is the original path?? 68, 69, or other??? Do s relate to time? Or am I not looking at the right thing.

    ReplyDelete
  138. I don't really understand you Patty. But then I didn't really understand this level either. If you look at the background music on, say, level 68, you will see that it is stored in a folder. Now check out the music on level 69. It is stored somewhere else. You should examine the contents of the folders. One of them contains something relevant.

    ReplyDelete
  139. 69. I can understand your confusion at my entry. I am looking at the left hand side of the source page. I see 3 things listed: the level page, the picture jpg, and the logo for google. When I hover over them, I get the folder path. I have no music folder there or on any other levels that I've checked. Maybe because I do not have any mp3 loaded on this computer.
The difference I saw was the google logo was https on 68 & 69, but just http on other levels. That's the 's' I was referring to, but is evidently wrong.
Not sure what to do. Maybe try newer computer tomorrow.

  141. Patty. Have you realised that if you right click on a page you are offered both "view page source" and "inspect". View page source gives you a totally expanded view of the source, whereas if you go to "inspect" you get a collapsed view and have to click on the little black triangles if you want to see the whole source.

    ReplyDelete
  142. Patty, I guess you are tending to your horses by now, so I have deleted a comment which gave away a bit too much. I'll be around tomorrow if you need more help.

    ReplyDelete
  143. Are bonus A & B found on the main website? Or from the last level (C****** t** D***)? the source code looks suspicious...

    ReplyDelete
  144. Both of them are in one of the pages in the main page. One is in plain sight and the other is in the source.

    ReplyDelete
  145. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  146. Thanks aaaasa and Minkie. I've found them and trying to solve. Minkie, the link of A is hidden in the source.

    ReplyDelete
  147. 69. Well, I'm back. Had an appt. this a.m. So time cut short to work. I've looked at the mp3s and looks to me like the folder on this level is different. (F***); when compared to 68 and previous levels. But trying to see how it relates to level page? I've tried to open the /f*** folder to no avail. Won't open with textedit; get only a black square. I know I'm either misinterpreting what I've read, or need to read my mac for dummies book. Wish I had still been around for Minkie's removed hint, but alas/alack. Probably late for you guys. If I don't see anything in the next few hours, I'll try again tomorrow.
Thanks. Could be I'm still on the wrong path.

    ReplyDelete
  148. Patty, you chose the wrong folder from /f***/t**/

    ReplyDelete
  149. If I follow, don't know how to isolate just the /t** folder without the m***.m** attached. I have the whole path in finder.
And for some reason I can play the mp3 today.

    ReplyDelete
  150. If, say, you put in:
    neutralriddle.50webs.com/f***/t**/
you will see the contents of that folder.

    ReplyDelete
  151. OK, I'll give it a try. Thank you!

    ReplyDelete
  152. Should that have downloaded another mp3 tune?
Nord mentioned something about 69b. using seconds, but I got a 404 error page.

    ReplyDelete
  153. Patty you do not need to click a link or download a file, you just need to type in the path as the url.

    ReplyDelete
  154. I'm in a muddle now. Are you in 69b already?

    ReplyDelete
  155. Finally, found the right path!

    ReplyDelete
  156. Working on A. Found c**.***, like a matrix. But not sure what to calculate. Determinant?

    ReplyDelete
  157. Laa. Yes. I googled how to find it and went through the process without any preliminary conversions.

    ReplyDelete
  158. Minkie. I was doing that. I got 3 letters associated with 3 numbers, that I thought I might find something from a-***.**s but that's apparently not the way. Am I on the right track?

    ReplyDelete
  159. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  160. Laa, As far as I know you don't need a-***.**s any more, not for this step anyway. You have a word from your 3 letters and 3 numbers, right? Try entering it in different ways.

    ReplyDelete
  161. Thanks Minkie. Got it. I was thinking c*** number in .**s lol

    ReplyDelete
  162. 70. Have the first egg-- end is near. Nord seems to suggest to leave this page and find part 2. 'Do something obvious from index.htm to find part 2.' Hugoke says the image on end is near egg is a flag and google is my friend? Minkie has 6 m***t*** f****?
I tried to use b--- -- in other ways to convert the 70 level page to get letters. Tried using the colors, numbers on colors, (none have nine letters), numbers on source code...Guess not obvious to me. Surprise! Been on it several hours. So leave a hint when you can.

  164. Dear, dear dear. Too much wine. Talking nonsense.
Patty, you need to find another folder from the level page.

    ReplyDelete
  165. Patty. I assume you have converted something to reach End is Near. The second egg would be without conversion.

    ReplyDelete
  166. Last step of bonus A (the author says). Any idea of what t**t***** means? Does it sound like any extension?

    ReplyDelete
  167. No Laa. That's where I'm stuck.

    ReplyDelete
  168. 70. Final page, have the translation of string of numbers. Know to delete 2 folders and add the rest. Tried it with and without the space. Am using caps. But does it end with / or should it have an htm ending? Tried it every which way, not getting it. My translation makes sense (T** E**), have I missed something??

    ReplyDelete
  169. It should be working for you Patty. It's a folder, not an htm.

    ReplyDelete
  170. The only thing I can think you are doing wrong is not putting the / at the start of the folder.

    ReplyDelete
  171. I've tried every conceivable way to my limited knowledge. Sure I don't need two(//) at the start of folder. I'm about ready to throw in the towel. Also tried every possible way to do a space with _ or -, no space, and just empty space. Been at it for hours as I know you were. Also all caps, no caps and just 1st letters of words caps.

    ReplyDelete
  173. OK, I have tried that!! We'll see. . .Thanks, delete.

    ReplyDelete
  174. If that doesn't work, try putting %20 instead of the space. And if THAT doesn't work consider yourself through!

    ReplyDelete
  175. How strange. I've always been able to erase and add what I've wanted into the web address and it goes right through. Did that on all the eggs to get to last page. But last page had to physically put in the http://... to get to the end. Thank you so much for your patience. I may have to forego the bonuses and regain some semblance of composure!! Have really appreciated your patience and fortitude.
Also thanks to aaaasa and Laa. Looking forward to working on the next one with all! Wait, what did I just say?? Better take that break!

    ReplyDelete
  176. See you in the next one Patty :)

    ReplyDelete
  177. Hi, guys! Just saw a post on Nord. aaaasa had asked for help with the bonuses and MishuAnubis replied that the pages needed are no longer online.

    ReplyDelete
  178. For those who are stuck at the bonus levels - Here's what I got from a PM in Nord forum:

Bonus A - the pics when put together hinted about a forum that is no longer online so the level can be considered solved when you reach the "last step" page.

Bonus B, however, can still be solved. Let me know if you need help solving this level :)

    ReplyDelete
  179. B. Thanks, aaaasa. I had started B and reached the 4(*x*) step.
I gleaned from hints that I should find 36 f and 0s from the level page. I've been trying to match the color codes, but not sure of two. Then if placed in the 4 squares hoping they'll spell a word. Think I've matched the last four in source of 4(*x*), but not sure of first two and have green and blue left from level page. Am I close at all?

    ReplyDelete
  180. Patty - You need to take the 6 color codes in the main level and combine each one with its corresponding part in the 4(*x*) page. For example, you need to combine the color code of 22(10) with "+f0f" in the egg source, then calculate to get the first line of F and 0s. Repeat the same on the other five colors and you will get 6 results that can form a big square consisting of 4 *x* squares.

    ReplyDelete
  181. Thanks, aaaasa; I'll work on that. But may run into questions with the e's.

    ReplyDelete
  182. B. Not sure in adding: 0 + e = e, but f + f = 2f? and how about
f + 1 =? Not seeing anything yet on the big square. :(

    ReplyDelete
  183. Just made it to next B page.

    ReplyDelete
  184. Thanks aaaasa for the heads up on Bonus A. I can stop wasting my time!

Hi Patty - thought you'd be back ;). Bonus B Are you on 2(3x5). That's were I'm stuck. It seems likely it has something to do with the grid on the level page, but I'm going round in circles.

    ReplyDelete
  185. B. Gonna need some guidance on the 2 (* x ') page H***. Found 2 lines that give hidden number total.
Tried doing math with similar dimension box on level page to get hidden # total. Or should I be looking for the above math total? Guess that would be different.
    Not seeing what to do.

    ReplyDelete
  186. Think our messages were posted at same time!!

    ReplyDelete
  187. Snap Patty! You seem to have found something I haven't to do with H****. I'm not asking for help, cos I'm going to try again. But I may be asking for help tomorrow if I don't make progress.

    ReplyDelete
  188. Good luck, cause I've not made any progress. Later!

    ReplyDelete
  189. Patty. I don't understand this in your previous post "Found 2 lines that give hidden number total. I can see the number that is in dark colours (it's clear in the source code anyway) but "lines" ... ?

    ReplyDelete
  190. Minkie, sorry had not been back online. "Found 2 lines that give hidden total." Was referring to 2 lines in source code hint that when split into 2 (*x') added to the total. That was simply a dead end. However, after doing the math the same way + and a different way-; I did manage to find 3 letters (with -)that have also dead ended.Thought maybe the text in the source was a hint for another letter for a total of f***. But no luck there either. Let me know if you've had any progress. I won't be able to do anything until later today. May the 'forth' be with you!

    ReplyDelete
  191. For the 2(*x*) page in Bonus B, the trick is to convert the color codes into a bunch of 0 and 1s, and it may not be that straightforward (at least to me) so I will leave an example here:

If the color code is 303330, first split it into 303 and 330 (as the 2(*x*) hint suggests). Then, convert 303 into 101 101 101 because there are three 1s in the first digit of the 3 result numbers, zero 1s in the second digit, and three 1s in the third digit. Using the same method, 330 can be converted into 110 110 110, thus the code 303330 converts into 101 101 101 110 110 110. Where the color code contains 1 and 2, you may need a couple tries to figure out where those 1s are.

After you have done the above step with the 5 color codes, you should get 6(3x5) digits (all 0 or 1) and granny should give you a 6 letter word as hint.

I hope this doesn't confuse you more because it took me quite a while to figure it out even with the help from Nordinho :)

    ReplyDelete
  192. Wow. Whoever would have thought of doing that! To work again. Thanks aaaasa :)

    ReplyDelete
  193. Yay, reached the end! Thanks aaaasa, it would have been more satisfying to work it out for myself, but then I NEVER would have thought of that method.

    ReplyDelete
  194. It bothered me that I couldn't find the midi file for that last step of Bonus B. I wonder whether it originally existed and contained some hint about the method.
