ReplyDeleteblack book should be in the middle of the second shelf of the main bookcase. Not sure if you have to talk to the girl or do something small before you can get it. I was poking around for some time before I found it so I might have done something that allowed me to get it.

ReplyDeleteI think my idea about the code for the dolls was wrong. There were two that fit the exact code I had predicted and I tried every permutation of the other 3 dolls with no success. Perhaps there is another step. I was banking on some reaction when the dolls were all in the proper place.

e.g. from the first to second
add one to star you get sun
add one to 金(gold) you get 土(soil)
add one to 春(spring) you get 夏(summer)
@himekito: this games likes you to do things in order, so make sure you have read all the books, collected all your items, then go and talk to the girl in the blue dress, i may have even clicked her with one of my dolls, then go to the bookshelf, (the big one) and click near the middle of the 2nd shelf till you get the book into your inventory. if you cant find it, go talk to the girl again. i tried several times then finally got it

ReplyDeletekirsten, the little symbols at the top of the columns in between the arrows on the note are supposed to tell you how far ahead to jump in the sequence of the 3 signs for the next doll. According to the number Tim provided my sheet does not add up properly and I've been unable to find another combination that does. Either the sheets are different in each game, I'm missing something, or there was a miscommunication. Either way I've pretty much stopped trying and just want to see the end of the damn game.

ok guys so after you get through the mirror I guess you sort of "fight" the girl behind it. You have to repeatedly use your elemental items on her. Go through them one by one and click on her a few times. If you are using the right one it will eventually disappear (it might be the order you used on the yin yang, I dont remember). Once you are out of the items go back to the study, look at the tree. The yin yang is back. Take it, go back through the mirror and use it on her. You win. Lame ending.

Hi every one, I'm a long time player but first time posting. I figured out the order for the dolls. Numbering the places with 1 being the back left doll and 12 being the front left doll (like in the note next to dolls):
ReplyDelete1, 2, 3, blue dress doll, 5 red dress black hair doll,
12, bunny doll, 10, red dress blond hair doll, black and white dress doll, 7
Through some math and a lot of trial and error I found out at the top of the note from the book triangle =1, x = 2, circle =3 and square = 6. That’s how many symbols you need to count to get to the one need for the next doll. The note has a circle between space 3 and 4. Circle = 3 so doll 4 = moon, yellow symbol, green symbol. Doll 9 has no symbols but the dolls name is on the not in space 9. If you view the doll and click on it you get the dolls name (just match the characters). Last doll goes in only empty space left.
After placing all of the dolls go view the mirror click on the rectangle next to it twice and it will ask you for the symbol for doll 12. The equation I came up with does not seem to work here so I am stuck.

Next row (L-R) is girl with white dress and big ears things(?) then girl in red skirt and lastly the girl in the big black hat
