ReplyDeleteI think I saw ur name on the other game I just finished up a xmas one.
ReplyDeleteim sure i've played this before
ReplyDeletegot a cellphone piece too and a red key
ReplyDeletewas it christmas escape by any chance lol
ReplyDeleteUsed binoculairs but I only see a paper which I can't understand. (language barrier)
ReplyDeletewhere to use red key?
ReplyDeletewhere binoculars anyone?
ReplyDeleteMaritjketje where did you use the red key?
ReplyDeleteI took a close look at the cellphone and it wants a phone number. I see no numbers anywhere
red key on view of balcony with house on background, click downwards
ReplyDeletebinoculars on postbox on house.
where are the binoculars?
ReplyDeleteYes Izzie it was that game.. I recently finished it and came here.
ReplyDeleteI hope for this one we don't need the language it is done in
thank you
ReplyDeleteIn view with house and sun click down to see a red chest. In same view click up and use binoculairs right from door.
ReplyDeleteermm.... i cant read the paper in her post box??!!
ReplyDeletegood morning all!
ReplyDeleteim stuck!
found a thumbtack or is it a nail under that "radio" looking box outside the glass doors of the balcony.
ReplyDeletestill can't find binoculars
hmm this games not ment for me
ReplyDeleteclick down when you facing the sun for the box
ReplyDeletemyrie isn't that a screwdriver??
ReplyDeletethanks catqueen05
ReplyDeleteand hello to you too butterfly
lol n there was me looking for a nail
ReplyDelete@ myrie, isn't the screwdriver? Use it on top of pipe next to glass doors.
ReplyDeletejust starting!
ReplyDeleteneed something to go inside the pipe.
ReplyDeleteOOOHHH! LOL
ReplyDeleteit the screwdriver looked so small, ohh I do see it now
okay. Oh So that business card that I see with the binoculars has the phone number we need? right. so I see only squares, 7 squares..
does anyone get a number to call on that cellphone we found?
any ideas
this is all to much for me for this time on a monday morning
ReplyDeletei tried 000-0000... didn't work ;)
ReplyDeleteguess we need to open the safe for a cloth to clean the windows?
sweet, live game!
ReplyDeleteI've gotten screwdriver (used), key (used), binoculars, and cell phone. looks like you can read the house's mail with the binoculars, but it's in Japanese with what looks to ben all-zero 7-digit number.
ive been trying the numbers that are visable through the window but no luck
ReplyDeleteI've also been trying the calendar numbers for the safe and I can't open it. This is a tough one with the language barrier
ReplyDeleteyeah i tried the numbers 8 28 31 also. but it's too short for a phone number...
ReplyDeletekinda stuck...
i think i'll leave you guys to it japnanese is not my strong point.... good luck all x
ReplyDeleteithink we need walkthrough
ReplyDeleteHi, long time player, 1st time poster. I bet this postcard/letter is important....but I don't get it !!
ReplyDeletei really hope the japanese isn't needed to solve the game
ReplyDeleteshunchun!! we need your help :(
ReplyDeletethere ARE 7 japanese signs under the 7 digit number...
ReplyDeletebut my japanese hasn't been what it should be hahah!
Tried to shout "Heeeelp !!" on the hole on the pipe ;-)
ReplyDeleteNo result !
darn...i really want to proceed pleaaassse! :D are there some japanese people here?
ReplyDeletetried to search in google for another forum where this game is discussed but no luck...
Maybe we need an internet site with number interpretations.
ReplyDeleteI am sooo stuck
Lonneke I am searching too and found nothing so far. I am looking anyway
ReplyDeletethe game is too new I think...and only posted here.
ReplyDeletebut the japanese can only be a clue because in Japan they also use numbers like we do isn't it? so the number for the cell-phone isn't on there I think...
where's shuchun when you need her? :)
ReplyDeletethis Japanese is rough. I even went to a Japanese number vocabulary site to do some translation, but it's still not very obvious. only some of the characters look like numbers; the others might be something else.
ReplyDeleteI found a website with Japanese number characters..
ReplyDeleteBut I don't know what I am reading..
I wonder if I can post that site here.. let me try.. someone can look at the numbers too.
http://sp.cis.iwate-u.ac.jp/sp/lessonj/doc/numbers.html
im coming later to look for a walkthrough... good luck to all
ReplyDeleteok i'll have a look
ReplyDeletedidn't know that numbers are also signs...
myrie, there's nothing on that website that even comes close to what's in the game...
ReplyDeletei guess we're stuck until a japanese player shows up :D
Lonneke
ReplyDeleteI also don't know.
But I think that I am not seeing what should be on that card.
Those so called numbers cannot possibly be 7 squares..
Does anyone see something else??
The squares would make no sense..
So is everyone stuck?
I think the others left already...hmmmz...
ReplyDeleteit just can't be squares...
did you notice the sun on the post-stamp? but I think that's not relevant...
arrrgh! this is frustrating.
ReplyDeleteThe Wikipedia "Japanese numerals"
shows me numbers but nothing at all resembles those square's representing a phone number on that business card..
There has to be another solution.
Lonneke,
ReplyDeleteI think it isn't supposed to be squares but it is what I see when I look at the business card. perhaps I am missing a language pack that should have loaded with this game or something.
what do you see?
If everyone left I don't blame them.
I have squares as well.
ReplyDeletei think it might be a postal code.. the japanese characters refer to some city, south zone and something else (I can't read all of them)
ReplyDeletebut we don't know their system
booh! this is frustrating!!!
ReplyDeletewe also need the 4-digit code for the closet...
and I really think we can search for something in the numbers you can see through the window..
anguan you also see squares huh?
ReplyDeleteyep! I wonder how we can get through this game.
Sharon, do you understand any of the number characters??
I really think my computer does not compute Japanese! LOL
I'm trying all those numbers Lonneke.. There has to be more clues..
ReplyDeleteno, i see squares too myrie...
ReplyDeleteit looks more like somekind of wingdings from Word :D
when you choose that in word you also get squares no matter what letter you're typing :D
NO WAAY! I can type chinese/japanese in Word! how cool :d I'm gonna try to find the right signs
I tried to click on the number characters that Wikipedia shows but I see squares when I put the cursor on them.. I hope someone who knows Japanese comes along.
ReplyDeleteI am sooooo LOST
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_numerals
i´ve been trying desperatly to pick up the plant so that i can clean the windows with it, so far no luck lol
ReplyDeleteAaaaaargh! While playing older games I missed this one! So way behind and trying to catch up... Don't you just LOVE Xmas hollidays?
ReplyDeleteoh no...i can see the chinese signs in word, but I can't type them. darn.
ReplyDeletekaren, I think in 5 minutes you'll be where everyone is :D mhaha!
ReplyDeleteok so far.. I found out that it refers to Fukuoka perfecture, south section.. and trying to figure out the last few characters
ReplyDeletewell, there is another forum, but the language is turkisch I think...dead and again :D
ReplyDeletethese numbers are obviously a calander so mayby a year on cabinet
ReplyDeletewhat is Fukuoka perfection?!
ReplyDeleteglad you found something anyway :)
possible yeah!
ReplyDeleteand the year starts with a 1. So maybe 19..?
not working...
ReplyDeleteHaha you were right, Lonneke, reading your comments took me longer than catching up.. so now stuck with the lots of you... and afraid I won't be of much help! Anywayzzzz nice to be here with you all..
ReplyDeleteFound the CODE!!!
ReplyDeleteThought mounth 12 and tried every day
so the code is 1210

ReplyDeleteI'm from Holland!
so far ive tried 08 with every month. 28 and 31 too. no luck
ReplyDeleteused the fishhook in pipe and zoom out, see two of them now BUG?
ReplyDeleteYou're the best! i hope we will also find the code in a legal way in the game or else the game really sucks :D
ReplyDeleteSharon,
ReplyDeletecool! now maybe I can find the first characters of a phone number in that area..
I was going through Japanese phone numbers and I tried several of them and got nowhere.
I got the numbers on the internet..
Happy hunting

ReplyDeleteSharon YOU are a genius!
ReplyDeletethanks!

GIVE KEY TO THE GUY OUTSIDE
ReplyDeleteand your already out
ReplyDeleteI don't read japanese actually... I can read chinese... quite a number of japanese and chinese characters are similar... which is why I can read some bits of it and search out the rest

ReplyDeleteMarijketje
ReplyDeletethanks for the towel tip.
I am out! this would have been a super short game if I knew the language..
ReplyDeleteBye all..
Someone should do a walkthrough..
i'm making a walkthrough
ReplyDeleteAwesome Lonneke
ReplyDeleteI am sure everyone who plays after us will appreciate a good walkthru..
I off to sleep now...
Walkthrough:
ReplyDelete- go right, look under machine -> screwdriver
- go right again. use screwdriver on pipe (upper left)
- go right again. get cell-phone. click on football (it rolls away)
- go two times right. get key from under plant
- go left. Click down, you see a red box. Use key, get binoculairs
- go up again so you see the house. Click up, use binoculairs on house (right from door) you see some japanese signs. You can’t solve the game if you can’t read japanese so someone solved the code: it’s a postal code -> 8111365
type it on the cell-phone. Click on the screen. You’re calling you’re neighbour.
- go to the house-view. Click on towel on neck of the neighbour.
- clean the Windows with the towel.
- you see numbers inside. It’s a code for the closet outsider -> 1210
- Open closet, find fishingrod. Put it in the pipe. Zoom out, click on key.
- give key to neighbour and he saves you! Click on neighbour by door, click on door You’re out!
cant find the key, did it twice and no key on the rod. Is there a certain place to click
ReplyDeletenevermind finally found the key Had to use the towel to get it. I clicked on the door but it didnt open Ill try again
ReplyDelete@izzie
ReplyDeleteSorry that i went out after i posted this game so cant help in time.
Without Carola and Sharon's help, I would have given up on this game for sure!
ReplyDeleteThe guy with the towel looks like the "Can you hear me?" guy. lol. And he's on a cell phone. LOL. Ahh, I'm easily amused.
ReplyDeleteActually, we are "in" and not "out" when we finish this one. Leaving the balcony (outside) and entering INto the building. :)
ReplyDeletefun game, used a little hint! for the postal code, no way without knowing the language would i have solved that
