  1. im with you zoz i think when they put the games up 2day that we were not supposed to get out and they are just seeing how long it will take for us to realise that lol

    ReplyDelete
  2. @zoz, no one's any further in diamond game - so no worries there

    ReplyDelete
  3. zoz the diamond game was just plain annoying. This one is... well at least it seems like things happen when you click. I'm in denial, clearly.

    ReplyDelete
  4. @zoz, easy... Don't fry what's left of your brain after diamond game (I'm sooo glad I haven't tried that yet). :D

    ReplyDelete
  5. The yellow grid is on the bottom of the machine (teleporter) beside the white door. You have to click the left green button and then the blue one and grid shows up (inside).

    ReplyDelete
  6. Jenni, what panel is Zazie talking about? The one right next to the sliding door? With all the blinking lights?

    ReplyDelete
  7. mumma, keldos, riana jenni, feline - if misery loves company i guess i'm one happy gamer

    ReplyDelete
  8. Ohhhh i found a chair !!

    ReplyDelete
  9. Oh!! right right. Yeah i noticed that you can get your mouse to turn a hand over the bottom left and right hand portions but then once you click it it doesn't take you anywhere and then the hand disappears.

    ReplyDelete
  10. i dont seem to tranport anywhere except just behind the white door but i think this is a bug cause it only happens when you click the left side of the yellow grid

    ReplyDelete
  11. glad to hear we are on the same page zoz!!!

    ReplyDelete
  12. Zazie, you mean the chair behind door by blinking panel?

    ReplyDelete
  13. It just took me to the hallway.

    ReplyDelete
  14. zazie where did you find a chair?

    ReplyDelete
  15. Ok. Think I'm stuck with you guys now.

    ReplyDelete
  16. im so addicted to these games i want to give up but i cant!! must finish (hopefully) lol!

    ReplyDelete
  17. hey I figure we're staving off alzheimer's or something with these games. Call it an addiction-- time waster-- whatever. I love 'em.

Alimax, I believe we're talking about the panel with the multicolored flashing lights and if I can get Zazie's trick to work with the grid (which I can't), I could get inside the "chair" room (the white door with the black window opens if you click the one white, non-blinking button on that panel), without going through the door and then maybe the machine inside would work instead of giving us what I think is a "door open" warning....

but I can't get the grid thing to work!!!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Yes i mean this one, i was not aware of it before.
Click on the grey not blinking button in the panel to see chair.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Oh, now I get the same transport? Maybe we need to do something to get transported around? Like finding the correct square on the grid?

    ReplyDelete
  20. i couldn't even get past the first level of the dwarf thing this morning - why did i think i could finish this?
    @Claudia @Cafe_Cafe, Iknow you're watching us. Help!

    ReplyDelete
  21. it's incredible how these games make you feel like a genius one minute and a monkey the next.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Thanx Jenni. I got that transporter to take me to the dark hallway and now i'm trying to mess with the other transporter. I keep getting hot spots depending on where i click and how many times but I haven't gotten that one to take me anywhere yet. I guess i'll go back and keep trying with the first one. (still not even sure if this is purposeful or if its a glitch in the game but there is seemingly nothing else to do now since I am definitely through with those damn valves!).

    ReplyDelete
  23. Zazie, if you click chair, you enter that room, but can only face the wall (punishment for bad behaviour, maybe?), press green button and pull lever.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Zazie-- did that work more than once? How were your valves set? Was the other transporter on or off? Which finger did you click with???

    ReplyDelete
  25. @oakley, welcome to our stuck spot! The hottest spot on Earth!

    ReplyDelete
  26. ok,here's my plan: i'm going to click my heels together three times and say "there's no place like home there's no place like home there's no place like home"

    ReplyDelete
  27. did anybody notice tha tab button works but its not helping

    ReplyDelete
  28. What a beautiful and well constructed game. This will be difficult, no doubt, but I'm enjoying it already :)

    ReplyDelete
  29. ohhhh. I have a feeling this transporter trick is a glitch. sometimes when I'm clicking around that grid, I get kicked out into an adjoining room. It happens with both.
Zazie-- did you wind up in the hallway or in the chair room? I was in the hallway once. The other "transporter" put me out in the adjoining room with 3 round windows. I think it was just a weird game thing.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I have no idea about how was the position of the valves. It worked several times, but now i does not work anymore, i don´t know why or what i changed. In any case nothing was different, i was only in the black tunnel as if i used the white door.. so stuck :(

    ReplyDelete
  31. For me, if i click the bottom left hand side and then two squares down in the middle row, i go back and forth between the hallway and the transporter. Anyone else get this?

    ReplyDelete
  32. I only get transported to the white hallway, not the room.
    Is that it, Zazie?

    ReplyDelete
  33. pouring outside. at least I'm not missing any sunshine today!

    ReplyDelete
  34. ...i could while away the hours, conferring with the flowers, and playing hopeless games...

    ReplyDelete
  35. sorry to hear that Jenni...nice and sunny here!!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Yes feline, same was here.

    ReplyDelete
  37. The other one takes me continually to the gray box and the ladder.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Feline, think it means anything?

    ReplyDelete
  39. What about that black box near the first transporter? That has to be something!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Cheers everyone, I'll check back in tomorrow. This was definitely not my day for escape games. Have to get ready for bed now. GL all! Good playin' with ya!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Ugh. I can't get the bowling ball to come out of the pipe, no matter what I do. All red valves on (I think!), blue valves on or off, doesn't matter. I have a puddle of water under the ball but it won't come out!

    ReplyDelete
  42. i have dinner and come back and we're still stuck...wat an awesome game this is..

    ReplyDelete
  43. it's ok. we need the rain. I'm in Texas. sorry about that last president. WON'T happen again.

Ok-- I noticed a hotspot area in the bottom left part of the colored-panel-room... but it does nothing. And the bowling ball won't smash it.

Yeah, tab works but it's crazy useless.

    ReplyDelete
  44. So I RANDOMLY played around with the pipes and somehow filled the two "transportation" tanks (after turning them on and closing their doors) with water and got two triangle pieces to fix in the black box. In the black box is a fuse for the machine we busted open.

Sorry I can't be much help to how I opened them, again it was just random playing with the pipes :s

    ReplyDelete
  45. Alimax, I'm not sure, but it's happening to too many of us to be a simple glitch (maybe a huge one? Lol.).

    ReplyDelete
  46. @zoz Hi, Yes I watching you but the game is working fine so you just need to find your way out.
Sorry I can´t help because I know the solution.

    ReplyDelete
  47. @Jenni, thanks for your reassurance about presidential politics. If that happens again i'm moving in with feline in brazil

    ReplyDelete
  48. Alex i tried many combinations of the levers and i always turned the wheel at the end and the ball came out sometimes.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Jaaase!!!!! Help us! I had tried that but had no luck! I thought I'd turn the blue ones on, but it didn't work! Check your valves and tell us how they look like now!

    ReplyDelete
  50. @Claudie, I KNEW you were there! You are evil (lol)
    but we've got Jenni, nyah,nyah,nyah

    ReplyDelete
  51. Yay Jase! How did you know when they were filled with water? (aka, do i need to keep going back and checking the transporters or can i just keep messing with the pipes?)

    ReplyDelete
  52. er, I meant ClaudiA and Jase (sorry Jenni)

    ReplyDelete
  53. Jase. Please go back and check how your valves are configured. Please!!

    ReplyDelete
  54. I have found a key. and than two rooms. In the first room is nothing, in the second romm are two tube, one with an arm. I can't find any other thing. How can me help?

    ReplyDelete
  55. @feline yikes I'll play the game again, because I got out. I want to play again because I want to see if there's some logic to the valves; I hate the fact that I did it randomly.

I was resistant to write because I couldn't explain myself. Sorry guys!

    ReplyDelete
  56. OK. Reloaded the game and it worked fine this time. Weird.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Jase, I'm... I'm... speechless!

    ReplyDelete
  58. I'm guessing the top right buttons on the transporters will have something to do with draining them... but my trial and error process is slow.

    ReplyDelete
  59. It appears to me that when we press the green button in the chair room, the door tries to close but we get the error "force filed activated". Then when we press the red lever, we get the error "Door Open". I believe these are errors and not the result of pressing the button or lever. Perhaps we need to find a wy to deactivate the force field?

    ReplyDelete
  60. Jase, how did you know you had filled the transporters? Did you have to open them every time to check or did you see the water coming out from those small pipes on the bottom?

    ReplyDelete
  61. Messing around with the velves keeping the two transports closed and on. But no water inside.
The changing of cable for getting lights is driving me nuts !!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  62. run with it Proud Parents...maybe you can find a way to do that??

    ReplyDelete
  63. thank you jase for the hint!!
just turn the red valve in view of the main valve to turn and alternately turn a green valve to parallel with pipe and your transporter should be filled

    ReplyDelete
  64. The piece would be floating in the transporter and when I opened it the water would drain and I could get the piece.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Anyone had the same luck as Jase? I swear I've tried this, but had no luck (and am still not having it!).

    ReplyDelete
  66. thanks nottypomy for your hint on what way to put valves finally got the bits

    ReplyDelete
  67. so should the rest of the red valves be a certain direction or what?? Can you run through them as your entering the building in which direction they should be in?? We would REALLY appreciate it!!

    ReplyDelete
  68. and out!!...rather out into space!!

    ReplyDelete
  69. @nottypomy, what about the other red valves?

    ReplyDelete
  70. and out!! canny believe im finally out!! feline put all the red valves 2 up except the last 1 and turn the green 1 dont know which 1 as i done it with both before i went and checked if the water was there

    ReplyDelete
  71. yes! nottypommy rocks! turn red valve by the orange tank looking thing so that it's perpendicular to the pipe. turn on green valve parallel to pipe (i did the right side) and turn circular valve on orange tank. Your transporter is filled!!!

    ReplyDelete
  72. @mumma3 only the first red one that comes out matters because it blocks the water so the ones ahead dont really matter.each of the green ones go to one transporter.if water flows through just one of the pipes water will fill in them...hope that helps

    ReplyDelete
  73. @nottypomy!!! Please!!! I'm on my knees!

    ReplyDelete
  74. Out, YAY! Thought that would never happen.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Finally out!

The red valve at the machine has to be "closed" (perpendicular to the pipe) but you "open" the green valves to flood the transporters.

    ReplyDelete
  76. ok-- for one piece (in the far building)-- first red valve as you enter is "off" but I could be wrong about this ONE.

right hand green valve "on" and right hand green valve "off"

red valve near the wheel is "off" but all others are "on"

the upper right green button drained the machine (so make sure your grid is on) but maybe we don't need to actually use it.

    ReplyDelete
  77. im away to see if they have got any further on the diamond game :)

    ReplyDelete
  78. OH thank the lord. It is pretty annoying that we were so close to the end and then got stuck so badly for so long.

    ReplyDelete
  79. thanks nottypomy!! That worked!!

    ReplyDelete
  80. I swear I'm trying, but not working!

    ReplyDelete
  81. Jenni, by "on" you mean parallel to pipe? It's what I am doing...

    ReplyDelete
  82. It'll work feline!

good game, Claudia. I hope it's fun to watch all us little rats in the maze!

    ReplyDelete
  83. yes-- on is parallel. The first time, I even put my bowling ball in the pipe, but it doesn't really seem to matter.
Make sure your doors are closed and the lights are on in those machines. Maybe your water's just running through?

    ReplyDelete
  84. Well one of my transporters was filled and i could see the triangle. I took off the water, went in but triangle has disappeared.
I will give up thisone again, i have enough messing around with valves and cables.
In any case thx a lot for everybodys help !!
    You are all great :)

    Til the next game.

    ReplyDelete
  85. each green valve controls a transporter. the red valve on the big orange tank thing must be "off".
once your transporters are filled with water, empty them with the upper right green button (like jenni said) and then open the door with the blue button
you'll get two triangles, which you put in the grey box thing with triangular shapes on top
that opens to give you the cylinder for the machine in the first bldg where you blew a hole in the wall
put the cylinder in and use that good old grey key and you get another cylinder.
go to the machine with blinking lights, put the cylinder in the grey hole, get in the pod and take off.
btw, I'm speaking to you from far away, as i've just been blasted into space...

    ReplyDelete
  86. My goodness! I swear this has driven me nuts! I had thought of doing this back on page 1, but random playing is not one of my strenghts! I tried following the pipes, using some reasoning...

    ReplyDelete
  87. I only got one piece in the one transporter...my other one is broken...:-(

    ReplyDelete
  88. @mumma3, try opening the other green valve. I did one at a time.

    ReplyDelete
  89. I tried that...the other one won't fill up with water...

    ReplyDelete
  90. @zoz, wait up there, I'm reaching you!

    ReplyDelete
  91. Another great game Claudia! and thanks to Shuchun for the posting!
@Claudia, for the next game could you just spend a little more money for trouble-free electricity?

    ReplyDelete
  92. not broken mumma3! Just made sure that grid is there. If the transporter is off, the piece is probably getting flushed away. Luckily, this magical space station has plenty...

did anyone notice that the wall we "dented" would have just opened up into a room we can easily get to with the ladder?

    ReplyDelete
  93. @mumma3, you must do the process 2 times. First turn one of the green valves on and the other off, turn the big valve and check your transporters, then invert it.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Holy crap and I glad thats over!!! Thanks for all the huge help everyone!! Later!

    ReplyDelete
  95. lol, Jenni. Last night we had to worry over a tricky code for a door and then ended up just taking the hinges out with a pink screwdriver. Claudia has a sardonic side (which I like!)

    ReplyDelete
  96. Jenni, yes, I noticed it... Noticed a lot of thingies in this game, just didn't notice much logic...

    ReplyDelete
  97. be sure that after you get the transporter filled you DO NOT switch it on/off again after draining the water.your triangle will go off down the drain.open it first

    ReplyDelete
  98. @zoz, she has a sadistic side, that is!

    ReplyDelete
  99. I smell a sequel to this game... After that ending question...

    ReplyDelete
  100. @zoz, we should team up and make a walkthrouh for this one! It deserves the best of our funny minds!

    ReplyDelete
  101. the sequel should be called "Submachine ripoff #2"

    ReplyDelete
  102. I have a note and a bowling ball, and can't leave that building. Hint please?

    ReplyDelete
  103. Heather, your directions are down, left or right depending on where you are- your curser will change to a hand if you can move in that direction.
Thanks all for your help- good game- had to finish it after I'd come back from the gym!!

    ReplyDelete
  104. could you please tell me what blinking machine you all are talking about? I don't understand where to put my cylinder

    ReplyDelete
  105. walkthrought pppppppppppllllllllllllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaassssssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeee. im just walking around and getting totally lost :(

    ReplyDelete
  106. oh, I found that machine finally, but no chair for me..((( where is it?

    ReplyDelete
  107. Yeah, POP and I feel kinda stupid. All I had to do was back out of the building.

I have the transporters ON and CLOSED, then I go in and turn the main red valve OFF, one of the green ones ON, then cycle the water, is that right?

Then I go back, drain the water in whichever tank, then open the door?

Or do I want them OFF first, then turn the force field ON to catch the triangle, THEN drain and open?

    I'm so confUUUsed.

    ReplyDelete
  108. ok, finally managed to escape, thanks guys for all your tips, that was smth

    ReplyDelete
  109. Heather: you make all the valves in "on position" except of one green valve and the red valve that is on the orange machine. Then turn the wheel, go to the 1st room (if you turn on the left green valve) or to the far right room (if you turned on the right green valve)
there you see your transporter full of water, you should press right green button to pour out the water and to press lower grey button to open it and take the triangle
then go back to the valve room and turn on another green valve and repeat all the actions with another transporter
But, before you start the procedure your transporters should be switched on (press left green button) and closed

    ReplyDelete
  110. doors closed, transporters on.
red valve with wheel off, 1 green valve on.
turn wheel, go to transporter and hit right green button, blue button- take the triangle.

    ReplyDelete
  111. @feline, the walkthrough is all yours if you want it. my brain is just static at this point

    ReplyDelete
  112. FINALLY.

Okay, for the rest of you: you need to make sure the door is CLOSED (shiny) and the lights and force field are OFF. Then run the water as described.

If you were successful, one of your tanks will show a floating piece inside it. TURN ON THE FORCE FIELD before you drain the tank or you'll have to do it all over again. Then drain the tank, then open the door, then celebrate.

Then do it again with the other tank.

    Yeesh!

    ReplyDelete
  113. Well, I've got the 2 pieces from the tanks and got the grey-white cylinder from the other machine. Now what ?

    ReplyDelete
  114. The Compound: Walkthrough

In a dark room facing 3 receptacles with one electrical cord on ground.

Note: You must return to this spot everytime you change buildings to turn on the lights.
    Left outlet - left building
    Middle outlet - this building
    Right outlet - right building

Plug into middle outlet for this room.
Go all the way to right and take ladder down.
Go all the way to left, get green key from black box.
Note the teleporter-looking thing on your way by. It's actually some sort of tube that water will flush through.
Let's turn it while you're here.
Top left button turns it on and activates grid on the floor
Bottom blue button closes the door and seals the tube.
Up the ladder to main floor, use key to open door on far left, go outside.
There are 2 buildings, both are dark. Let's explore the one on the left first.
Back out of outside view and return to outlets. Plug in left outlet, return to left building.

Pipes and valves: Open every red valve you see. Not sure which ones you MUST open, so I opened them all.
Valves are open when the handle runs the same direction as the pipe.
Go right, note big pipe, go up ladder.
    Go left, open red valve.
Go right all the way to second ladder, open red valve, go down ladder.
Better open the green valves too, for good measure.
Oooo....a note. Drag it over the eyeball to read it.
The point of the note is the relationship between the four elements, and the four states of matter.
All the way left, red valve is already open, pick up cable.
Back up ladder, go left, down other ladder, left back out to leave building.

Return to outlets, plug in lights for right building, go outside, enter right building.
Right twice. Oooo...another note, and another ladder. What are those symbols? The four elements.
    Right again to down ladder.
Left and there is another of those machines. Turn it on and close the door to seal it like the other one.
Bowling anyone? Better pick up that ball
Left again to a white door that.....you cannot access.
Up the ladder, left, then up the other ladder, then right.
Weird machine on table, pick up key by machine.
Down ladder, left, back out to leave building.

Back to first building. (Don't forget the lights)
All the way right to locked door.
    Enter little room with bookshelf.
Pick up books until you find the red book, with black control panel in it.
Examine books that you find by dragging them over the eyeball.
Return the incorrect books, as you may only have 1 book in inventory.
Hey...we haven't been to the top floor of this building yet.
Find the ladder going up, and...go up!

Top floor machine. Symbols match those from note.
earth is the first one. Now...what would be the state of matter represented by earth?
I consult the genius of mumma3, post 106, because I have no idea.
Click just below top left symbol on machine. This is earth, state of matter would be solid.
Type in "solid" in lower case letters below the symbol.
Top right symbol, (air) would be "gas"
Bottom left symbol, (fire) type in "plasma"
Bottom right symbol, (water) type in "liquid"
Machine opens. Get key card. Maybe this will open that useless white door?
Where was it now... oh yeah, the orange building on the right.
Back to outlets, turn on lights for orange building (right), go to orange building.

Orange building, up ladder, weird machine on table to right.
Take the white cable, attach to lower left corner of machine.
Other end of cable is stuck to my mouse!
Click on the book, and thankfully there is a hole in top right corner of book for that pesky cable.
Symbols appear in book. Make them match the four element symbols.
Don't worry, you have the symbols in one of your notes.
When sybols match, a light shines out of the machine.
Follow the light, and grab short key from wall above ladder.

Back to Pipes and valves building (don't forget the lights)
Up ladder, and down other ladder to big round valve handle.
Turn it, listen, and hear water go swoosh. Wonder where it went?
Return to big pipe. Hmmm...water on the floor. Better block that with a bowling ball.
Stuff bowling ball in big pipe.
Go back to big valve again, turn to make water go swoosh.
Back to big pipe to find that bowling ball has been shot through the wall!
Go through wall and doorway and find...another machine that does nothing.
Looks like it's missing a fuse on the left. Drat.

Hey...let's see if we can flood those transporter-looking things with water instead.
Earlier, we turned them on to activate the grid on the floor, and we sealed the doors.
Go up the ladder from the big pipe, and right to the green valves.
Close ONE of the green valves, go down the other ladder to the big valve.
Close the red valve on the pipe above the big round valve.
    Turn water on (swoosh).
Go back to green valves, and switch them so the opposite ones are opened and closed.
Turn on water at big valve again (swoosh).
If all went right, both of those big tube things should be full of water.
    Now where were they? hmmmm
Oh right.....in the other two buldings. Let's do the orange building first.

Return to orange building, find big thing that looks like a teleporter.
Hey....it's full of water and something is floating in there.
Press the top right button to flush out the water.
DO NOT press the top left button, or you wil turn off the grid on the floor inside of the tube and flush away everything.
    Open door, pick up triangle.

Repeat this procedure for the other tube.
Hint...it is downstairs in the middle building.

Now you have two triangles, and you are in the basement of the middle building.
Go left to black box, insert triangles and get a fuse.
I seem to remember a useless machine in the pipes building that needed a fuse.
It was in the room where you blew the bowling ball through the wall.
Go there. Find your own way! Insert fuse in the machine and get ...nothing.
Ok...use that short little key as well and get...a white thing.
It's a cannister or a key or something.
What do I still have in inventory....a key card.
Let's go find that useless white door in the orange building and try our key card there.

Orange building, down ladder, all the way left to white machine.
Slide card. This is a very long tunnel, keep clicking to the end.
One white light on this machine is not blinking.
Press it and door will open on left.
Before going through, insert the white cannister in the hole on the right of control panel.

Go through door on left by clicking on the chair.
You are now in your space pod, sitting in your seat.
    Click green button.....all systems go!
Click red handle....door closed and you launched into space.

    Tada!

  120. I'm stuck the same as everyone else. No clue what to do with the transporters, can't get that weird black box open, can't find another fuse for that thing where we blew a hole in the wall... argh!

Frustrated having to plug and unplug all the time. How annoying. And the endless, monotone music in the background made me feel like punching a hole in the wall. LOL..

I can't do this anymore right now. I'll check back tomorrow. Too irritated now. GOOD LUCK to anyone who continues. Have fun and I hope to catch you in a live game soon. :)

  125. Thank you for your kind words. I miss most every live game - must be a time zone thing - so the 200 plus comments were great. I NEVER would have figured out the four elements vs. four states of matter, nor the order of the valve handles.

Cafe_cafe creators? Take a bow. That was a well thought out game. Graphics were awesome, and while we all complained about turning on the lights, it is stuff like that that makes the game memorable and challenging. Codes were logical, but not easy. You should be very proud.

I saw a comment on Nordinho that showed a screen shot of each scene, all pasted together to make an awesome map of each room. If there is anyone out there who would like to explain how to do screen shots, and where to post them so that people can access them, this is a skill I would love to learn.

Keep in mind though, I can seldom escape a room by myself, so they would have to be very precise directions! lol
