ReplyDeletewhere's the green lens?
ReplyDeletenvm found it
ReplyDeletethat green lens had me stuck for a bit too, didnt think to look under the ashtray, other than that, the game was a breeze from start to finish.
ReplyDeleteThere is a link to the lounge room escape game on the page for this game. I found that game more interesting.
ReplyDeleteeasy, but at least the music is comforting...
ReplyDeleteTurn right using the arrow bar on the edge of the screen
ReplyDeleteClick the “sun” in the upper left corner of the painting
Drag the object from the inventory to over the picture and note that it is a yellow filter
Click the down bar to put it away
Turn left
Take your cursor up from the right arm of the chair until you see a flashing arrow -- that’s your navigation control to look around the corner
Go forward 2 times
Click the ashtray on the desk
Take the ashtray and then click on the bottom cigarette rest in the about item view to turn it
Get the green filter
While still zoomed in on the desk, get the blue filter from the back of the light
Use the up navigation bar to look up
Click the gold books
Note the Roman Numerals on the spines (make note of them)
Click the second book (from either end) and see the note to count the books from left to right
Back up and then turn left using the navigation bars
Note the door needs a code
See the dark spot on the white baseboard to the left of the door?
Click it to find the red filter behind it
Click the painting to the right of the door
Click the name tag under the right corner of the painting to see the name and year
Hey! That’s one of our Roman Numerals -- 1888 (MDCCCLXXXVIII)
Back up using the down navigation bar
Drag the green disk over the painting and see a hidden number
Turn left 2 times using the left navigation bar
Use the blue filter on this painting to get the number
Don’t forget to note the year
Continue to get the dates and hidden numbers for all the paintings
Don’t forget to use the flashing arrows to move forward in the room
Come back to the door and click the codebox
Enter the numbers from the paintings
There are 2 1888 paintings, but they have the same number, so don’t worry
SPOILER MDCCCLXXXIX=1889 (red disk to see a 2), MDCCCLXXXVIII=1888 (any disk to see the 6), MDCCCXC=1890 (blue disk to see a 4), and MDCCCLXXXVIII=1888 (green disk to see the 6) so 2646SPOILER
Click the green button and the door will unlock
Back up using the down navigation bar and click the door to leave
