    ReplyDelete
  67. As I play-through

Love tesshi-e and that stylin' jazz piano

Click fan,see code box to right, click bottom of fan and get a SPADE KEY (they are all about the keys here)see a cable of some sort but can't get it.

Grooving on that music...(I really do like it)

Click all the lockers...only the ones with numbers on them open. find a green coin and the one with 30 on it has a slot or an "I" in back

click a window? to the right and it has a peephole or something...below are tiles that light up but don't know the order yet.

move right and click sinks...why so many? Oh, Yeah,,,I am in a spa...I find a stepstool, and use key on another to find a ...what the heck IS that pink thing?...moving on...

How do I get behind the sinks? Oh, stupid me, it is a mirror...clicking on table to no avail...click the door...Oh! it is open...I am outside...I am inside...go to door again...I am outside again...click...back inside ...again... I do this a few more times to make sure I don't miss anything...Nothing here!

Going right now...click the plant (mother-in-law's tongue) I like that plant, don't you?
behind the planter is a remote in the window sill...what does it do I wonder...

Going right ...a lot of baskets to check out...
some are empty, some have roman numerals...got a cap and a tartan framed something or other...
I can't look at top shelf...maybe the stool? ...no, not here...

Soooo, I have been all around the room and all I have is 7 items and room for 7 more...I am doing a lousy job here ...but it is oh, so mellow...not the least bit anxious with the gentle background tinkling of the ivories...
What was I doing, now? Oh, that's right...gotta find a place to use these things and find more things...

Looking for clues...looking for clues...how do I get under that table?...looking for anything...Augh! Nothing!

Time to see what everybody else is doing...
I know, it feels like cheating, but it is the only way I am going to get out of here!!!!

Oh, Pooh! Why didn't I think of putting the stool in front of that outside door, I was in and out enough!!!thanks @annaby!

Well that wasn't a peephole at all, it is hard to tell perspective in these virtual rooms...now I have a light...that does what?

The baskets with #'s are in the four corners of shelf...maybe that is the clue? click the corresponding corners and #'s , all combos...am I even close? Nothing!...back to hints...

Ooh! I am brainstorming...the carousel gives the #'ed plates for opening the rest of the lockers!!!! Yeah!!! Thanks @ad absurdum!
Maybe I should've read at least a couple of hints before I started...those were only the first ones! Let's open some lockers!!!!

I got lucky with a 10 and a 16...this is going to take ages...maybe I'll peek again at the clues...somebody must have done it already and I am starting to get tired of this music...

Are you kidding me????? I tried to use 7 for the key that @ad absurdum told us about... didn't work! So it is up to me to open these other lockers at ramdom???? Ahhhhhh!!!!!!

Okay! I found the star and square and opened the plug safe and plugged in the fan...progress, again! Not...I can't find the freaking switch...Am I supposed to turn it on???

Back to the lockers...3 to go...nvm do something else before I go mad...

Got the fan on...with remote? why didn't I think of that? TY @konstantina! OMG! Konstantina! You figured out the lockers!!!
Here I go...All lockers open now!!!

Where did that balloon go? So, now I can put the stool on the table and get the balloon!

See why they call it Mother-in-law's tongue???
The sharp plant popped my balloon!
Got key ... opened plate next to door...another code???

Got door code from tartan thing that I put over bulb...was that some elaborate lamp or what???

Soooo tired! Can't put water in cap...got to get out of this room ...now...

Maybe one day I will come back for Happy end...Bye for now!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  68. Oh, a walkthrough. And such a funny and nice one, Debra! Funny, you did most of the things that I did, even the useless things...

But I wrote mine already. So I'll post it. And there is the happy coin ending in it as well...

First view: click on the ventilator and then on the base of the ventilator. Click on the cover at the base and get the key of spades. Zoom out.

Turn right facing the washing basins. Click on the leftmost corner of the basins and then on the door. Nothing. The next door. A key is needed, so use the key of spades. Take the weird thing. Zoom out.

The next door under the basin needs a key, and 'KEY in 7' is written on the door. Look at the weird pink thing in your inventory. Notice that you can change the green numbers, so try number seven and hit the grey button. You get a wooden plate with number seven on it. Turn it around. Open it. A key with daggers. Use it on the door. Nothing in there, but turn the small lever. Zoom out.

Look in the last door under the basins and take the stool. Zoom out.

Turn right. Click at the plant and then at the right lower corner. Take the remote control and zoom out.

Turn right until you face the rack. Check all the baskets and note the roman numbers and the position of the numbers in the rack. Also take the baseball cap and the screen. Zoom out.

Turn right again and take a look at the closet. You can open all doors with numbers on it. Do it and note the roman number and the position of the number and take the green coin. Zoom out.

Turn right and face the basins. Open the tap at the second basin from the left. Put your baseball cap under it. It is full of water now. Put the water in the second basin from the right. Take the thing that comes out of the drain. Open the wooden screw with your coin and take the note out. Zoom out.

Now turn- left! Just for a change… ;-) Zoom in on the closet. Now it becomes a bit complicated. The sum of the numbers in the lowest row is 50. On the note from the wooden screw is the number 68. 68-50=18. You need something with the number 18 on it. But all you’ve got is the wooden plate with a seven on it. Maybe the pink thing in your inventory can produce a 18? Bingo! And it fits! And now you can open the door (thanks@full)! Do that with all the doors! The upper right door gives you a roman III, number 26 a star, number 20 a balloon on the loose and number 10 a square. Zoom out.

    to be continued...

    ReplyDelete
  69. Part two...

Turn right and zoom on the doors. Open them, go out, place the stool under the door and click on the lamp until you’ve got the bulb. Zoom out, take the stool and go into the room again.

Believe it or not, now you’ve got everything to solve the mysteries of the room.

Zoom on the base of the ventilator and then on the socket. Note the star and the square. Star is 26, and square 10, the closet told you so. Type that in. The socket is now open. Zoom out and click on the power cable of the ventilator.

Look at the remote in your inventory and push the button. The vent works. Zoom out.

Turn right and place the stool on the table. Take the balloon. It is sturdy, too bad! Search the room for something to let it go bang. Or do what you always do in this game, and that is:

Turn right ;-) Zoom on the plant and let the balloon go pop! A key! Zoom out.

Turn right (surprise!). Zoom on the door and try the key on the cover on the right of the door. You need a code… Zoom out.

Turn right (no comment). Now look at something new, on the thing on the left of the basins. Put in the bulb and then the screen at the thing on top, and then remember the roman numbers. Push the buttons in the order of the numbers, that is right up, left up, left up, right down, right up and left down. A code! Zoom out.

Turn left at last, zoom in on the door, open the cover, type in the code and push ‘enter’ and then ‘open’. You may leave now, but without ‘happy ending’.

For the happy ending, type the code in again, push ‘enter’ and then ‘close’. A coin rolls out of the cover (thanks @george). Search it behind the plant, open the door with the code and you are out with ‘happy coin will bring happiness to you!!’.

  70. Oh, thanks @cvkameke!
Now I can play it and get the happy end! Yours was a real walkthrough and very helpful!
    Well Done!
Especially the explanation of the # 7 key...What an idiot I am...And then the water works...
    Thanks again!

Either way, you get to swim in a beautiful pool, but with the Happy End you get sake, too!

-- apologies to debra and cvkameke for duplicate walkthrough. I just wanted to see if I could do one without being as wordy as I usually am!

    ReplyDelete
  72. i hate games that are in deferent languages it's so hard!!!

    ReplyDelete
  73. Thanks @debra.

Wow, @zoz, THAT was a short and concentrated walkthrough. Well done! Never could do that, mine are always too wordy too...

    ReplyDelete
  74. @ ZOZ
    As Sneaksnake said...
    Every game deserves a walkthrough
And I believe you can't have too many

    ReplyDelete
  75. The code for the door is a word pun of 'good spa' in Japanese. I laughed when I saw the code:)

    ReplyDelete
  76. Thanks for the walkthroughs - wouldn't have got anywhere without them, because the roman numerals in the baskets don't show up for me - just a square placeholder :o( wonder what setting I have got wrong! Maybe I'll try in IE instead of Firefox ...

    ReplyDelete
  77. Love Tesshi-e games! Thanks for posting and keep 'em coming! Great logic to these..

    ReplyDelete
  78. How and where do you start the game? I get only ads and "the mild escape"

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  82. @zoz...what...no Freud or Nietzsche...lol!!!! Great walkthrough...thank you *bows* ;)

@cv...thank you for your great walkthrough too :) one can never have too many walkthroughs...lol!

@debra...enjoyed your unique approach to the walkthrough, and I agree about the jazz piano :) thank you for taking the time to post a *playthrough* ;)

    ReplyDelete
  83. I love these games! These have gotten better than the Gotmail games too. Thanks for the walkthrough. :)

    ReplyDelete
  84. Out with happy coin and without peeking on any of the three wonderful wt's (sorry)! I didn't find the *68 clue until after the happy coin but, well... those lockers were easier to open without it.

@debra, I love your play-throughs!! It's so funny to read about the useless and silly things that I do as well, like the outside/inside part (repeated that way too many times).

Thanks @cvkameke! A great and explaining wt, like they should be!

@zoz, wonderful job! You managed well to do a "straight-through" and it's good to have one of those here as well (but I still love your wordy ones :)).

    ReplyDelete
  85. Great job! Thanks cvkameke

    ReplyDelete
  86. out on my own with normal end. I needed help for the happy end (as usual). I was wayyyy overthinking it.

Excellent game! My only complaint was not being able to put the lightbulb in while zoomed in on the hole. That is normally a 123bug mistake. Why can I put it in across the room, but not when I am at it?

    ReplyDelete
  87. I just read debra's play through. That is fantastic. You capture just how it feels to play some of these games. Thanks for the fun read!

    ReplyDelete
  88. nice elevator music (lol)

    ReplyDelete
  89. When you click "Play this game" it doesn't go to the game. Sounds like a good game, but....

    ReplyDelete
  90. @Unknown

Tesshi-e has withdrawn the game from the official site. It will never be playable anymore.

The official statement was "that the game file is broken". Frankly, this is bollocks. When mildescape.com did not yet exist, this game worked PERFECTLY.
And since it's just one .swf file that would get copied to another, why should a Flash file cease to work if copied from Server A to Server B?

So as much as I appreciate Tesshi's game work, this statement does not stand on two feet.
    It's illogical from A to Z.
There must be some other reason, which has not been disclosed to us.
