ReplyDeleteHint Level 4 - Anagram again (related to the theme... 2 words)
ReplyDeletewhat is 5
ReplyDeleteno, Edgar, that's level five. Six is the cue sport - I'm stuck, I can't figure out the scoring. (four is the recipe)
ReplyDeleteLucas, look at the clickable items - a blackjack, a roulette wheel, a slot machine, etc - what do they have in common (what are they used in). The answer is plural, I think. (the letters are an anagram, but I figured that out after I got the right answer)
ReplyDeleteokay, six is addition, mostly, each ball has a set value. red = 1, blue = 5, yellow = 2, green = 3, brown = 4, pink = 6 and black = 7. Assign values to the balls you "pot" and add them all up (enter numerically, 10 rather than ten)
ReplyDeletehi everyone

ReplyDeleteYES thank you
ReplyDeleteHint for the music room, the songs are Mr. Blue Sky, Blue Moon, and Blue Danube. What do these songs have in common?
ReplyDelete@Lucas - you okay on the Snooker riddle?

ReplyDeletefor 15, do we name the song cause idk what it is
ReplyDeleteblue danube
ReplyDeleteIt's The Blue Danube not that it works!
ReplyDeleteFor 15:
ReplyDeleteYou don't need the song. Where they start doesn't matter, where they end doesn't matter, it is what they do in between.
Four letter word.
Was also used for the opening in 2001 space odyssey, but don't think that means anything...or it might...
ReplyDeletegot it ty, aicheless1
ReplyDeletewell, i'm having a brainfart......don't know the four letter word that means to go back and forth?
ReplyDeleteit doesn't mean to go back and forth. the British say queue instead of this word.

ReplyDeletetypewriter clue = discord
ReplyDeleteso death and discord so far
ReplyDeletethe symbols spell DEATH (along the nile), the type writer gives you the Apples of Hesperides, the train is the Plymouth Express (those are enough to get it)
ReplyDeletethe typewriter is NOT discord. It's a title of a short story. (I'm on 17).
ReplyDeleteIf anyone could place the song on the radio, I don't get how it relates.
16 is famous literary detective
ReplyDeleteTrisana - I also don't get the radio...
ReplyDeleteyeah, but I loved the clues. I think I've read all of them. In fact, I think I OWN all of them.
ReplyDeletei'm so dizzy

ReplyDelete@icemaiden (for whenever she gets back) - thanks to youtube, I now know that the radio plays the theme from his TV show. LOL.
ReplyDeleteno idea. I keep thinking that it's the sun and moon, and that the milky way is a "Spiral arm" galaxy, but nothing there.
ReplyDeleteSamuel Edward Ratchet was the victim, the symbols say death so what is the answer if samuel is not
ReplyDeletethe detective, Lucas! There are four books/short stories referenced in the study, and a tv show theme. (Death along the Nile, Cards on the Table, The Apples of Hesperides and the Plymouth Express)
ReplyDeletegot it thanks for the help
ReplyDelete@dana - now i'm dizzy too. any new ideas?
ReplyDeletestuck in a tailspin...ahhhhhhh
ReplyDeleteOn the stairs, you should find 12 hotspots, some go one way, some go the other.
ReplyDeletedo you remember the clue..something about adjusting the clock????
ReplyDeletewhat's with the letters on the clock, the c f i l?
ReplyDeleteShould we move the clock hands with the spiral somehow? Do they want a time?
ReplyDeletewhat time does the clock say?? 1104??
ReplyDeleteAll I've noticed is that clicking on the 2, 6, 7, and 12 spots make the picture spin in the opposite direction from the other 8 spots. I can't even tell which is the hour hand and which is the minute hand.
ReplyDeleteFor Level 17
ReplyDeleteThe clock has a letter for each hour: 1=A, 2=B, 3=C and so on. Spin the stairs on EACH hour... you'll notice it sometimes goes right, and other goes left. Anagram the letters that go clockwise in the stairs spinning.
Hint: 8 letters.
it said "relate the clock face to the spins" (yay for writing answers down to speed run it)
ReplyDeleteThanks edgar and suzanne!
ReplyDeleteLevel 18
ReplyDeleteComplete the numerical progression:
1 - from genie

ReplyDeletestuck on stupid...and stairs! Dummied down hints please!
ReplyDeletewhich is level 4?
ReplyDeletedana - no, just a geometric progression (multiples of 2)
ReplyDeleteDawn - it's a basic cypher where a = 1, b = 2 etc, and 8 of the clock positions on the stairs (so the top of your screen is 12 oclock, bottom is 6 oclock) spin clockwise ( i think). find those letters, and solve the anagram.
level 4 is the kitchen.I've been stuck for about 20 mins.lol
ReplyDeleteDawn - check each hotspot and note the clockwise ones and corresponding letters, unscramble
ReplyDeleteI am sooo stuck on the inner sanctum level 20. I can't even remember the names of those three rooms.
ReplyDeletetrisana - duh..i must still be a bit dizzy from the stairs
ReplyDeleteOh, count the letters indicated. For example the FIRST of Jupiter is J. Like letter math
ReplyDeletesuzanne, they're the junk room, the home theatre and the attic. I've got all three up in separate windows at the moment, but I don't know what the ghost saw . . .
ReplyDeleteis the owl driving anyone else crazy??
