  11. for the 3 white switches on the front in the right bottom corner, look at the numbers on the back 1-9 with the squares beside then! think of the squares as the 3 white switches

    ReplyDelete
  12. for the number code on the front, bottom left, there is a circle on the back with a number in it, there is a square with a number at the top, after u open lock one, cant find the triangle though! above the number lock there is the shaded shapes, so if u take the first half of the circle number, and the second half of the square number and the first half of the triangle number (which i cant find) its opens

  17. Nhiladred - for the 9 circle pad on the front left side, look at the 2 3x3 grids on the back and choose the columns so the last of one column matches the first of another.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Hi again! Played the other game. Trying to catch you up now :)

    ReplyDelete
  19. for the right side with the dots, the clue is on the bottom (back red arrow)

    ReplyDelete
  20. The back side has lateral views next to the blue lines. Find the triangle there.
    *glad i didn't have to bruteforce :)*
Oh, btw. Numbers are not the same... they change for every game.

  21. I don't understand the key 1 lock (90 30 60 60 30) how many time i must turn the lock?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Thanks d-do, I thought I had it before but I missed the upside-down part!

    ReplyDelete
  23. I don't get the key 2 clue...

    ReplyDelete
  24. o right, didnt know that edgar. im the same jh31, i know the letters are the numbers, but i can only turn it 6 times and then it resets!

    ReplyDelete
  25. @damlaurent, white and black arrows mean where to turn the dial using white and black numbers. One move is 30º, two moves are 60º and so.

    ReplyDelete
  26. mm letter for key 2 is like , one, two three, four...then OTTFFSSENTET from 1 to 12 but i don get how to turn it in the back lock

    ReplyDelete
  29. OK, solved the right 2x4 grid with the hint on the bottom and help from @d-do.
What about the 3x3 grid in the left side??

    ReplyDelete
  30. d-do i tried that but i cant get it right i guess...i was trying 12 to 2 as do clicks to the right, then 2 to 8 as six moves to the left but that was wrong :S

    ReplyDelete
  31. and out! phew! will stick round if ne help needed! for the 9 grid jh31 tells how it works above

    ReplyDelete
  32. the 8, is 11 not 8, so go from 12 til 2, til 11, til 1

    ReplyDelete
  33. @d-do, I'm lost. Where is that clue?

    ReplyDelete
  34. its on the back, the 2 grids, one with letters and the other with arrows, u have to press the buttons so they go after each other, s to x, then s to y, then y to g

    ReplyDelete
  35. sorry its x to y! all 9 switches should be pressed

    ReplyDelete
  36. Ahhh, thanks you both!!
    Now I see the letters!

    ReplyDelete
  37. i was briefly on the back side, i have no idea how i got there

    ReplyDelete
  42. Ah! Thank you Pete. Out

    ReplyDelete
  43. thanx all for help :) nice game

    ReplyDelete

But the word POST has an annagram
    correspond number with annagram

    word=SPOILERSTOPSPOILER
    code=SPOILER7243SPOILER

    ReplyDelete
  50. Somehow , the clue under the red arrow is not working for me ...I see: XXXO
    OOXO
The O meaning, to leave white??? Not working, what am I missing?

    ReplyDelete
  51. i am stuck . opened the first key and then what??

    ReplyDelete
  52. @nokra, you're doing well but, press the buttons on the grid with the clue upside down (see the big circle on the left on the bottom and the one on the right in the grid? That's the hint)

    ReplyDelete
  53. @Zania, then you can:
    - remove the screws on the circle in the front
    - solve the 2x4 grid on the right side of the front with the clue on the bottom of the back, or
    - solve the 3 buttons on the front with the 9 numbers clue on the back.

    ReplyDelete
  54. @Edgar solved the 3 buttons but i cant solve the 2*4 grid. i see the hint at the back under the red triangle but nothing happens when i use it at right front grid .... :(((

    ReplyDelete
  55. oh got the 2*4 grid , thanks

    ReplyDelete
  56. Ok - floundering here. Have removed most of the parts on the front, solved the dot puzzles left and right. Can't find the Key2 clue. Anyone left to help?

    ReplyDelete
  57. @Mike W
maybe you need to remove some other things first, everything keeping you from removing the big white disk in the front.

    ReplyDelete
  58. @edgar - good suggestion. Stuck with that too. Losing hair here rapidly :(

    ReplyDelete
  59. Ahh - random clicking has removed the big white disk. I should have thought of that before.

    ReplyDelete
  60. lol @Mike, I know exactly about that!
I also had troubles on my own in the very exact part of the game.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Stuck again. I've unlocked and removed the 4 screws in the circuit board, but the board won't come out. Random clicking has failed me. (I find a hammer is more effective at destroying REAL hard disks!)

    ReplyDelete
  62. Finally! Click the red arrow to remove board. Out!

    ReplyDelete
  63. @Mike W, interestingly enough, you're getting stuck in the same points as I did. Try clicking on the red arrow now.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Oh, you've got it now. Good!

    ReplyDelete
  65. @Edgar - thanks for your pointers. I'd have given up long ago...

  66. I’ve been having a VERY busy day here (not complaining at all though) and writing the following walkthrough in every free chance I’ve got. Hope it’s useful.

    ─────────────────────────────────────────────
Katlai Dismantle, Chapter HDD – Walkthrough (Part One)

    • Zoom in the white label and read ‘PARTS-KINGDOM’ with an arrow crossing it; use this clue for the letters panel; RETURN.
    Solution Below
    • Remove the 6 screws and then the cover.
    • Zoom in the upper circle and remember the white and dark numbers along with arrows to unlock KEY 1; RETURN and go to the BACK.
    • Zoom in the upper part and remove the round cover to see a dial; use the clue in the above step on the dial to unlock KEY 1 now. CLOSE and RETURN.
    Solution Below
    • While still in the front view, zoom in the bottom (under the red arrow) and notice the clue right from the bigger circles:
     ○ ○ ○ □
     □ □ ○ □
    • RETURN take a look to the green board below. Notice several clues here:
     - Numbers from 1 to 9 with some bars in squares on the left, right and middle of them.
     - 2 3x3 grids with numbers and arrows on them.
     - a Circle with a 2 digits number in it (this number changes every game).
    • RETURN and go to the FRONT.
    • Zoom in the right side (next to the blue line/arrow) and use the clue on the bottom of the hard drive to unlock that part. Once done, remove the screw and RETURN.
    Solution Below
    • Zoom in the upper circle and remove the 6 screws and take that part away. Make notes for the square number (which is also different in every game).
    • RETURN and zoom in the lower right part, into the 3 white buttons.
    • Now that you’re here, you can remove the orange/brown thing holding (among other things) the white disk above (since you’ve already unlocked the right grid).
    • It’s time for you to solve the buttons puzzle, using the clues from the other side (numbers 1 to 9 on the green board). Once done, remove the couple of screws and click on the cover.
    Solution Below
    • RETURN and zoom in the left side (next to the other blue line/arrow) to see the 2-digits number standing for the Triangle (this number is again different in every game).
    • RETURN and zoom in on the lower left part, into the 5-digits panel under a circle, a square and a triangle. Notice these shapes have a half dark; use (half) the values for the shapes you’ve been seeing as the code for this panel; if done correctly, now you can remove the 2 screws and to take away that white part.
    Solution Below

    ReplyDelete
  67. Katlai Dismantle, Chapter HDD – Walkthrough (Part Two)

    • You can click on the big grey thing that extends over the white disk, but only two times before it comes back to its original position… and we don’t want that! So, RETURN and zoom in the left side again.
    • Now you can see an uncovered 3x3 grid of white buttons; use the clues with letters and arrows from the other side to solve this grid; once done, remove the screw and RETURN.
    Solution Below
    • Zoom in again on the lower left part and remove the (now removable) black thing on the left that was keeping the gray one to go any further. Now click on this gray part 3 times until have it horizontal, remove the screw in the middle of it and take it away… along with the other gray thing underneath.
    • At this point, only that dark piece of junk is holding the white big disk above… get rid of it and RETURN.
    • Zoom in the upper disk; click on the outside of the circle to remove it; remove/click on the gray ring around the central circle; remove/click on the outside (not as bigger as the prior one) circle and now you are able to see the clue for the KEY 2. RETURN and go to the BACK.
    • Zoom in the upper part and remove the round cover to have the dial again; use the clue you’ve just found to unlock KEY 2, CLOSE and RETURN.
    Solution Below
    • Go to the FRONT, zoom in on the upper white circle, remove those 3 screws and take it away.
    • RETURN and go to the BACK.
    • Zoom in the circuits board and click on the red lock, which will unlock all of the rest and will let you use the SD 4 more times… isn’t it great? :P
    • RETURN, click on the RED ARROW on the bottom and zoom in the uncovered part… BOMB TIME!!
    • See the clue to deactivate the bomb (POST=3472), solve it, enter the code, click on the little dial while you shut the eyes and squeeze the teeth and… if you didn’t go KA-BOOM, proceed by clicking on the timer to take it (screw included) away.
    Solution Below
    • Only one click left for you to remove that last part and to say
    YAY! I’M OUT! (Congrats!)

Katlai Dismantle, Chapter HDD – Walkthrough (SOLUTIONS)
    ─────────────────────────────────────────────
    Solution for label code
‘Parts-Kingdom’ has the letters in the panel. Use those letters from left to right to have the code: PTKGM
    ─────────────────────────────────────────────
    Solution for KEY 1 dial
In the front side we can see these numbers: 90 30 60 60 30 (bold indicate dark numbers)
The white arrow is to use the white numbers to the right, while dark arrow is for dark numbers to the left.
On the back dial, use the numbers as degrees to move it. Keep in mind that one turn of the dial equals 30º.
In other words, move as follow:
    - 3 to the right (90º white)
    - 1 to the left (30º dark)
    - 2 to the right (60º white)
    - 2 to the left (60º dark)
    - 1 to the right (30º white)
    ─────────────────────────────────────────────
Solution for the 2x4 grid (right lock)
The clue on the bottom has a bigger circle on the left, and the buttons have the big circle on the right, therefore you need to turn the clue upside down like this:
     □ ○ □ □ big circle
     □ ○ ○ ○ is here
Press the buttons shown as squares here (□) and then the bar below.
    ─────────────────────────────────────────────
Solution for the 3 white buttons puzzle
On the green board of the back we see some squares (numbered 1 to 9) with white bars in them on the left, right and middle. Use this clue for the order to press the left, middle and right buttons, as follow:
    L R L R M M R R L
    L=left; M=middle; R=right
    ─────────────────────────────────────────────
Solution for the Circle – Square – Triangle code
    The circle is on the green circuits board on the back.;
    The square is on the white disk on the front;
The triangle is on the left side of the front part.
Now, every shape has a dark half, meaning you’ll have to use the left half of the circle (1 digit), the right half of the square (3 digits) and the left half of the triangle (1 digit).
Since the numbers are different in the games, no spoiler here for you… sorry!
    ─────────────────────────────────────────────
Solution for the 3x3 grid (left lock)
On the green circuits’ board on the back, we see the letters:
     XSY
     ↓ ↓ ↓
     YXG
Connecting the letters in the sequence S→X; X→Y; Y→Z gives you the order to press the columns in the grid… that is:
middle – left – right columns; from top to bottom (all 9 buttons shall be pressed).
    ─────────────────────────────────────────────
    Solution for KEY 2 dial
KEY 2 clue says OTTFFSSENTET along with some connecting arrows in between.
Those letters stand for One, Two, Three, Four… Twelve.
    Connecting the arrows through the letters/numbers we get 12, 2, 11, 1.
On the dial, use the numbers as time hours on a clock (forget about white and dark arrows), and since the pointing line is on top (12th time) go on with the rest setting the “clock” at 2 (2 times to the right), at 11 (3 times to the left) and at 1 (2 times to the right).
    ─────────────────────────────────────────────
    Solution for bomb code
Rearrange the clue POST=3472 into STOP=7243. Enter this code.
    ─────────────────────────────────────────────

  69. I love Katai games!! Going it with my best screwdriver :)

  70. Not a quick dismantlement, but I managed on my own :) I must stop making mistakes such as writing "eleven" in my note book, then trying to use 8!! That key 2 took me a long time to understand since 8 was impossible to use at all lol. Lovely game!!
    Great looking wt @Edgar!

  71. I can't solve the one with the white buttons! My code has a zero in it, and I can't find a matching button for zero. I have tried all combinations, but no luck.

    ReplyDelete
  72. oh! I seem to do really well in these half the time. And since I did well in the last one, I had to do terrible in this. >.<

    Thanks for the walkthrough, Edgar!
