ReplyDeleteWhat an odd game, I would have rated it a one. I clicked his head, moved a rock, moved a bush, annoyed a spider with a fly, a bird came, and caught a fish, the chicken ate the fish, and cut the ropes........I think.
ReplyDeleteYvon, why should a game get a 1 for being too short, and not to insult and all, but the premise was to free yourself.

So I don't believe that warrants a 1 rating. How you play it is up to you. If the game mechanics were bad and glitchy, I could understand that. But this game is pretty solid despite how short it was.
I know what it should be rated, and I suppose the game mechanics are sound, but there's no continuity, no sound, it's not in english, any of these usually gives you hints on what to do, you can't help but blindly click around and hope to figure something out. As they say even a blind squirrel eventually finds a nut.

ReplyDeleteBut don't say to other people that they must stop rating it a 1 or 2. Those people give it the number they think the game must have.
I love these games even though I do not know the language! It would be great if someone could translate a little bit of the story, as that is much of the content of the games!

ReplyDeleteShort game but a nice one... hm, maybe if I weren't too familiar with the characters and the series I wouldn't have liked it as I did... anyway, trying to understand a reason for someone not liking it much (apart from being a very short and not-too-understandable game, which it might be enough), but again, I feel I can't argue or trying to reason with someone who doesn't... diversity is what makes the world go around!
And now I remember someone posting somewhere not too long ago asking everyone NOT to like a game (??!!)
Really short compared to how these games usually are, but I liked it anyway.

WALKTHROUGH
Click on the blue play-button lots of times to make the game begin.
Turn right.
Click on the small bush to the right of the creature to make a fly appear.
Turn right.
Click on the creature to make him move a little.
Click on the stone you see behind him.
Click on the frog from behind the stone.
Turn right twice.
Click on the frog again.
Watch him get eaten by a fish and the fish taken by a bird.
Turn left.
Click on the bird to make it fly away.
Move away from that view and go back again.
Someone is hiding behind a tree above the fish.
Click on that someone.
Click on the blue play-button to watch the end.
Interesting, with people in countries all over this planet dieing to get the rights of freedom of thought/expression, equality and the ability to vote for a change, there are some in this group who don't think someone who doesn't believe in the way they voted shouldn't be able to vote.

ReplyDeleteI believe initially She was just responding to the apparent habit of SOMEONE that is voting BAD on ALL the games before they even start.. That has been happening alot lately and she merely voiced her opinion...
Then it gets into a disagreement about what deserves a good or bad rating...I am sure she did not mean that people do not have a right to vote!!!
And I am sure none of you wish to deny her an opinion!
I enjoy playing LIVE with her and she is very helpful!
I hope the continuous admonitions do not cause her to avoid comments in the future!

ReplyDeleteI highly respect the opinion of others. Lately someone has been going around rating games either a 1 or 2 right after its been posted and this is not a good thing.
The games on this site deserve a good shot before being rated whether you find yourself being able to play all the way through or not.
What I said wasn't intended or up for debate. But I guess I stepped on some toes in regards to how people believe they should rate. By all means ask, but take that to chat.
My message was for those responsible for the abusive ratings as of late. Please stop.
I don't get this game. Did the dog tie a stuffed version of himself to the tree in the end?
ReplyDeleteSorry, but the rating system says 2=boring. Gotta go with that one. Visually it was nice, but gamewise it was kind of a dud. Hope that doesn't mean I'm a troll.
@Suzanne just in case you come back -- you have it right. After being freed, the "hero" tied the stuffed version of himself to the tree to make the aliens look foolish.
