  1. @Zazie no, we are all still here. Started doing little item-throughs waiting for someone to crack it lol

    ReplyDelete
  2. hmm, why do you guys still have yellow cube? I dont..

    ReplyDelete
  3. nope still stuck on bracelet code lol thinking of giving up

    ReplyDelete
  4. Tried using cell phone numbers for "THIS"... nope.
Tried counting the number of times each letter of "THIS" appeared in message... nope.

    ReplyDelete
  5. I think I'll go through and wait until I have all the cubes before I put them in.

    ReplyDelete
  6. and what is with the cell phone surely we should use it somehow??

    ReplyDelete
  7. tried to smash the cellphone in frustration, to see if there was anything in it, but sadly it didnt work..

    ReplyDelete
  8. As someone said earlier...may have to start over because I got the tiny key before getting the yellow cube...and am stuck without last code as well...waiting for rest of KKF's WT...

    ReplyDelete
  9. I think phone was just a hint for opening box under bed...

    ReplyDelete
  10. The phone was for XHE IRP hints. Went through again and got all the blocks before putting them in and it did zero different. Just got rid of the apparently unnecessary yellow cube and now I still need a 4 digit code for my ankle thingy.

  13. I played again and this time i put all cubes in "star" before taking key, but nothing else changed....

    ReplyDelete
  14. tried rearranging that painting for a second code. Laughing at myself.
Need to run an errand. Hope you all figure it out soon!

    ReplyDelete
  15. the only thing that I found different between getting all blocks and missing one, is that I can zoom in on the block puzzle again.

Could the code have something to do with the positions of the blocks/colors? But I did notice the positions change depending on the order you placed the blocks.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Pascale, these are the code numbers from phone but mixed (trial and error for me) because of the paper hint with toss some moss across....

    ReplyDelete
  22. Thanks a lot, Zazie. After sending my message, I saw that Kitkatfox explained this. The hints were too confusing, I would never have found the answer by myself.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I am trying the same now for 4 digit code.

    This : 8447
    That : 8428
and when i remove the double letters 8427 remains.
Trying the code by mixing the 4 numbers...only an idea..

    ReplyDelete
  24. so the answer to the green and blue box were anagrams of XHE (HEX) and IRP (RIP) so could we need another anagram from the clue?

    ReplyDelete
  25. lol I tried OPEN in numbers. No luck.

    ReplyDelete
  26. ooh...what if it's an obvious anagram of THIS? lmao!

    ReplyDelete
  27. well, I could be locked in a lot worse places. Too bad we can't get to the beach ;)

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete

  54. Walkthrough Part 2 and Puzzle Solutions

Go left, then down 2 times to the bottom of the stairs
Go left 2 times so you are in the room that has the BEACH sign over the TV
Use the hammer on the jar to get the red block
Go right to the wicker chair room and now go down
You are in the dining room
Use the screwdriver on the vent over the picture on the back wall -- get the purple block
Get the fifth mirror piece from the placemat on the right (on the counter near you)
Go right and you found the storage closet
Use the hammer on the jar and get the green block (bottom shelf of the closet)
Go left 2 times to the kitchen
Note the light gray square on the edge of the counter near you -- click it and find a small hole
Use the paperclip there. Close that view, and see the picture on the back wall raised up.
WARNING -- There is a glitch in the game. Don’t try to place all of the blocks except one and then back out. If you do, you will open the puzzle without placing the last block and will be stuck with it.
Get the sixth mirror piece from on top of the cabinets to the right of the refrigerator
    Go right and then down
Click on the game on the table
Place all 6 mirror pieces. You need to angle them (by clicking them) to get the laser to the bottom red dot.
When you have it right, get the blue block
    SOLUTION BELOW
You should now have all of the blocks
    Go down and left
Click the black puzzle under the picture you moved
Place all of the blocks in the hole in the middle (the order doesn’t seem to matter). Don’t back out of this view until you have them all placed!!!
Click the center of the wheel (where you put the blocks in) to open it
Click the lighter gray block at the bottom of the safe
Find a tiny key -- use the tweezers to get it
Use the key on the ankle bracelet in your inventory to see you now need a 4 digit code
There are buttons under each number that let you change the number. When you have all the numbers entered, click the bottom sliding lock to unlock it.
    SOLUTION BELOW
    You win!!!!!

    ________________________________________________
    Warning. Here be SPOILERS!!!
    Green and Blue Box SOLUTION
The IRP and XHE clues combine with the cell phone. I=4, R=7, P=7, etc. You need to use both the blue and green sets of numbers, but which comes first doesn’t matter. The letters are scrambled versions of common English abbreviations. IRP unscrambles to RIP, which is SPOILER747SPOILER. Now click the lock over the blue line. XHE unscrambles to HEX, which is SPOILER439SPOILER for the green. Thanks @ mgkanda, Zazie, and others for the solutions.

    Laser Game SOLUTION
The laser comes from the top right. It will hit the mirror in the upper left corner. Turn it so the laser goes down (mirror in upper left position). The mirror on the left in the second row from the top should turn the laser right (mirror in the lower left). The mirror in the second column, second row should move the laser down (upper right position). The mirror in the second column, third row should move the laser right (lower left position). The mirror in the last column, third row should move the laser down (upper right position). The last mirror should move the laser left to the dot (lower right position).

    Ankle Bracelet SOLUTION
Go to the upstairs bedroom. Click the paper on the bedside table. Note the prominent THIS at the bottom of the paper. Count the number of times each letter is used in the note. There are 5 Ts etc. Use this code on the ankle bracelet. There are buttons under each number that let you change the number. When you have all entered, click the bottom sliding lock to unlock it.

  55. No beach here, but in July i was in wonderful Sicily :)

    ReplyDelete
  56. All well and good, but there are 4 'H's in the note, so the code you have to enter is wrong! Did everybody else miss the 'h' in 'who'? Or did I miss some other clue that that is to be discounted?

    ReplyDelete
  57. @Divinyl lol you're right. I did miss an H. I guess SelfDefiant and I are both bad counters.

This isn't the first time I have gotten a code right be getting it "wrong." I never realize it until someone points it out to me. So either I have fantastic escaping skills or lots of luck. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  58. I did try that a long while ago, and there are FOUR "H"s in the message - which gave me 5418 for the code. Sneaky's captor CAN'T COUNT!

    ReplyDelete
  59. @BergerGTR I thought you had tried it. I was confused why it didn't work for you when it did for me.

    ReplyDelete
  60. hmm, so there's a glitch? Now I can't put the yellow block in? Don't feel like replaying at the moment, maybe later...
And @Divinyl, you are right, I also think the THIS-code should be 5418, according to the explanation ?
Anyways, I never would have found those codes myself, congrats to all who did!!

    ReplyDelete
  61. That´s way crazy :)
@kitkatfox keep up your cool errors in counting, the best way to help us escape lol...

    ReplyDelete
  62. @Truus yes there is (or was) a glitch...
You cannot (or could not, maybe it is fixed already, i don´t know) put the yellow cube in, when you had taken the key before...

    ReplyDelete
  63. lol @kkf, for getting a wrong code right!!

    ReplyDelete
  64. thanks @Zazie. Too bad!
I was enjoying this one and left it open to finish it later, but now I can't.. :((

    ReplyDelete
  65. kitkatfox...you ARE A GENIUS...i'M NOT WORTHY...tHANKS!!

    ReplyDelete
  66. You are right! I counted those like 10 times and only got 3 H's, I think that is why they have that one puzzle where you count the T's and you always get it wrong the first time. I did fix this and it is now 4 instead of 3. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  67. It is ok Selfdefiant, in any case we had much fun due to this :) It is a great game, i wanna more from the old SSSG series...i like them more than the painted ones...

    ReplyDelete
  68. @ Truus, I really don't know why the yellow block would be buggy. I have looked and looked and I can't figure it out. Can you explain what happened?

    ReplyDelete
  69. @Selfdefiant thanks for the fix.

And we have learned that I better never test your games! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  70. @Selfdefiant earlier, when we placed all of the blocks, we didn't have the yellow. If you backed out of that scene and clicked the safe door, it would open anyways. When you got the yellow block later, you were stuck with it -- you could never zoom in on the safe to place the block. It would just reopen it).

I don't know if the block color mattered. That was the last block we found. It may be a problem anytime you put in all of the blocks except one, back up, and click the safe.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Well we all (when we first played) put all the cubes into the star except the yellow one. Because nobody until there managed to open the suitcase below the bed. And when we put the cubes inside the star (still missing the yellow one), it gave us the key for the watch. After this we opened the suitcase and yellow cube stayed in inventory of course.

    ReplyDelete
  72. I see, that is why I couldn't find anything else wrong. Thanks guys! Hope you enjoyed!

    ReplyDelete
  73. I opened the game this morning while at work and played it in the few chances I got. I didn't finish it... I couldn't. I'm not saying I could have solved the clues on my own if I've tried. Well, truth to tell I lost patience and came to read the comments for some help, and I can see a reason for my being stuck (at least one of them) and I have to say it.
    - I never got the XHE clue. Both my papers showed the blue IRP in them. I can't find a case like mine in any of the comments I've read here and only one question remains... WHY ME??? lol!
    - Like most of the players, I also got the small key with only 7 color boxes/cubes only, and got the yellow one later (after reading about the existence of a XHE note, of course).

All in all, it was an enjoyable game @selfdefiant.
Thanks all for the comments and the hints for the codes, especially @kkf for solving the last one... you rock girl!!!

    ReplyDelete
  74. Sorry Selfdefiant, I had closed this window because I had to install a new Norton Int.Security. I see the problem was already explained by kitkatfox and zazie. Thanks for that.
Also thanks for your games, I think they're great!! ~~even with a glitch and wrong code. lol
    Looking forward to the next!!!

    ReplyDelete
  75. @Edgar, this is really strange, i mean that you have got two times the IRP paper. Also for me it is new to read this :)

    ReplyDelete
  76. @Self, i enjoyed it very much !!! :)
You are creating my most preferred games, you know.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Yep, Zazie. Way strange, lol!
I opened the game again a while back and still the same... two IRP's, no XHE.

Well, I'm done with it. Struggling in Asha's now ;)

    ReplyDelete
  78. 1st time playing live.. got gold key blocks etc

    ReplyDelete
  79. oh shit I see there is a walkthrough.. not gonna look oh and is that the game creator?
@self, did you make this game?

    ReplyDelete
  80. @Edgar, I really find it strange getting 2 of the same note... It uses live updates maybe it didn't get the latest update when you loaded it.
@chauncy, I did create this game.

    ReplyDelete
  81. So what is the final code for crying out loud?!

    ReplyDelete
  82. Oh nevermind. Looks like comments were jacked up on here for a bit. I have thefinal code ..thanks

    ReplyDelete
  83. Maybe that was it @selfdefiant. I remember loading the game when it was just out. No comments yet at all here. I knew I wouldn't have been able to post or to play live because of work, so I really didn't notice there were supposed to be 2 different notes until when I got home and eventually came to read for some help.
I guess next time I'll wait a bit before loading, uh? Now I'm curious about how far would I have got without that little issue, lol.
Thanks anyway, for the great games you always provide to us :D
