ReplyDelete
3. Hmmm, I have S, S, C, P, S, F/B, P/F and S.

From here: http://www.jososoft.dk/yamaha/articles/midi_8.htm

ReplyDelete
4. Well, I looked up what kind of instruments those numbers are in MIDI, but nothing (I get the letters SSCPSFPF).

ReplyDelete
5. Hang on, those are the instruments. Ignore my last comment lol

ReplyDelete
6. Shouldn't we looking for the notes?

ReplyDelete
7. And If I try to transform those letter into numbers and then into MIDI again I get:

PREDPMDP. :(

ReplyDelete
8. Looking at that same page, I got:

64 D1 - D6
55 F1 - C5
43 C1 - C5
89 C-2 - G8
105 C-2 - G8
36 C0 - C3
76 C3 - D6
50 C1 - A6

Not very helpful :o(

ReplyDelete
9. But what notes? The notes to tune those instruments? But a lot of those instruments are synthesizer instruments and I don't think they have a keynote.

ReplyDelete
10. try using this link:

ReplyDelete
29. @rambler, every picture has another source hint.

enter the name of pics in as an answer to see the next page.

@nini, no it is used for it, it is a Bu***to ;)

ReplyDelete
30. Okay, I see from the posts that Hawaiian only refers to the first dish I think (I can't really see Hawaiians enjoying Borscht lol). But there are no page sources on the egg pages. Grrr

ReplyDelete
31. Oh, thanks Carol, I'm on it now...

ReplyDelete
32. 1= L**o M**o
2= T****a

35. This comment has been removed by the author.

ReplyDelete
36. will remove previous post in a few minutes, because of the names

ReplyDelete
37. @small-tool, I don't mind, it's ok to me, but I thought it's not allowed to do it, so that's why i used spoilers, but no problem for me :P

ReplyDelete
38. There's anumber on the pic. Maybe It happens w/ all?

ReplyDelete
39. Yep the numbers are
3, -1, 3, 1, 2, 2, -2.

ReplyDelete
40. @nini, yes that's what i meant with the order of the pics is not the order of the numbers

ReplyDelete
41. Following the numbers on each name I got: iardoon. Didn't work of course.

ReplyDelete
42. so

1 2 3 4 5 6 + 3, -1, 3, 1, 2, 2, -2.=
4 1 6 5 7 8 5=
lthimsy ??

ReplyDelete
43. Tried the 3th letter from the first word, then the 2nd (3-1=2) letter from the second word etc. but nothing.
Also tried the first letter from the first word + alphabetical 3 letters. Then first letter of second word minus 1 letter etc. but nothing.

ReplyDelete
44. six another name for soup:
6 Thai soup = coconut soup // Tom Kha Gai

gives : lthimya

anagram gives: Almithy

but doesn't work

ReplyDelete
45. Yum, just finished my Spag Bol. Back to the cyber cuisine action lol

ReplyDelete
46. Anyone still here? I am stuck on level 7 (surprised I made it this far!)

It is the one where you flip the cards over and a painting is revealed.. I am googling and tin-eyeing which is not working.. any hint on the painting name?

ReplyDelete
47. Enjoy I found it on TinEye!

ReplyDelete
48. @enjoy use tin-eye on the card with the head or body of the lady, or dicribe the whole picture, like white dress, etc and google it in google image

ReplyDelete
49. Maybe I don't know how to use tin eye correctly. Did you put the URL into tin eye? I tried that and I downloaded the picture from a save file.. nothing.

Googling now "painting woman long white dress lily pond" and still searching

ReplyDelete
50. @Enjoy, check the SC too for snatches of text.

ReplyDelete
51. I should add that each image has it's own SC, but not all of them have some extra text.

ReplyDelete
52. also tried:
* Banoori
* Baronio
* Barooni
* bonario
* Boroian
* Boronia
* Robonia

= anagram of 3 (3th letter first word), -1(last letter 2nd word), 3, 1, 2, 2, -2(2nd last letter of last word) etc.

didn't work

ReplyDelete
53. can I already DELETE my comment :Carola 12/29/10 10:33 AM

With all the answers of pics?

ReplyDelete
54. @Carola, as far as I know you can delete your own posts whenever you like. Knock yourself out lol

ReplyDelete
55. @Rambler, lol, I mean if everybody coppied it so I can delete it ;)

ReplyDelete
56. I will delete my comment with pic answers too.

ReplyDelete
57. This comment has been removed by the author.

ReplyDelete
58. @Carol, I see what you mean.

Okay your post is safely copied to Word. For my part you can hit the bin!!!

ReplyDelete
59. OMG.. I think I got it in tin eye!!!

ReplyDelete
60. finnaly got 20...

ReplyDelete
61. Haha!! I knew it!! Tacos!!!!

ReplyDelete
62. Thx Spela, that's what I did, see comment 10:57

but had the first word and the T**o wrong. Thx!
on lvl 21 :)

ReplyDelete
63. im at lvl 22...but i dont really know how i got 21...more or less lucky=)

ReplyDelete
64. on second lvl of lvl 21 now,

ReplyDelete
65. I'm still in 21 bu part 2.

ReplyDelete
66. first part of lvl21:

cipher: Decimal to Ascii

ReplyDelete
67. Now we have to follow the grid ?

ReplyDelete
68. @small tool:

http://www.purplehell.com/cgi-bin/riddles/decimal.pl

ReplyDelete
69. for second part find the letters from numbers from part 1

ReplyDelete
70. Thanks Carola already found that with your first hint.

ReplyDelete
71. found: quimb on 2nd part, if you take the letters in the grid on the position of the numbers of the first part of the level. Think I'm on the right way, but made an mistake.

ReplyDelete
72. lol Spela just saw that clue on Nord!

ReplyDelete
73. @Špela, lol, again same thinking, so I was thinking right, will look again

ReplyDelete
74. This comment has been removed by the author.

ReplyDelete
75. Hm . name of pic on 22 = 25

maybe the anwer is a combo of the 2 colors on 2nd and 5th place.

ReplyDelete
76. s-t anagram ur 2nd answer.

ReplyDelete
77. on lvl22, so stupid, was counting the blocks in the grid, like 84th block ;) but was warm lol

ReplyDelete
78. Maybe we're using GIMP on this one.

ReplyDelete
79. Maybe mixing the colors so the first would be Purple, second maybe Cyan, but don't know about the others.

ReplyDelete
80. Hm.. since the pic's name is 25, I tried changed it's matrix to 25 as well. The colors changed. But what for? lol.

ReplyDelete
81. im at 23...for 22:

just google pictures: color pairs

ReplyDelete
82. google colorpairs and than convert numbers to letters for lvl22

ReplyDelete
83. yes, but if you can split the morse on many ways and get other letters... :(

everthing about silver:
http://chemistry.about.com/od/elementfacts/a/silver.htm

ReplyDelete
84. for morse:
http://www.purplehell.com/riddletools/morse.htm

ReplyDelete
85. I got something..

The Riddle of the Third Mile (1983) -- This one is a real winner! Sort of a Michael Innes romp involving the definitely non-donnish escapades of some quintessentially donnish Oxford dons. Not a typical Morse, but a great mystery novel. The schemes and motivations and settings are wonderful. The fictitious Lonsdale College, which figures in many Morse books, is one locus, London's Soho strip clubs another, and the Oxford canal a third

ReplyDelete
86. lol bet that's nothing to do! lol

ReplyDelete
87. the formula =
e (mathematical constant)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E_(mathematical_constant)

ReplyDelete
88. scroll down on wiki for the same formule (see previous comment)

e can be represented as an infinite simple or generalized continued fraction due to Euler:

ReplyDelete
89. Hm... maybe a word that encompasses both words? (morse and constant)

ReplyDelete
90. formula is also called PELL number of Euler

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pell_number

IS SILVER RATIO!!

ReplyDelete
91. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silver_ratio

is the page we need, I guess

ReplyDelete
92. I think we have to combine it w/ the morse signs.

ReplyDelete
93. @nini, yes, but the morse is hard because there are no spaces, so many possibilities

ReplyDelete
94. or Carola.. maybe we don't even have to decode the morse code. Just make a word wich encompasses the silver ratio and the morse

ReplyDelete
95. the first letter could be: E, F, I or U

so where starts the 2nd letter...

ReplyDelete
96. Gotta leave for a while. Come back soon!

ReplyDelete
97. The silver ratio is the way to divide the morse symbols.
On 24 now.

ReplyDelete
98. Well 24 is about Bonnie and Clyde.

ReplyDelete
99. @s-t, but that gave me : INNAAIMIE ?!?

ReplyDelete
100. The silver ratio can also be defined by the simple continued fraction [2; 2, 2, 2, ...]:

so seperate every two...

ReplyDelete
101. great s-t tnx!
been trying to find the connection for quite a while...:/

ReplyDelete
102. The first is made of two morse symbols so that's an I indeed, but the second would be four symbols and that's a C then 1 symbol etc.

ReplyDelete
103. it's not the frequention, but the number itself ;)

ReplyDelete
104. On 24 the source gives the date they shot Bonnie and Clyde.

The picture is called fusillade and that was a fusillade of 2 minutes and 167 bullets.

Now what to do with half an half?

ReplyDelete
105. is it possible that the halfs refer to bonnie and clyde? al to halfs of a pair?

ReplyDelete
106. the same picture is on wiki and is written:
Posse suffered deafness for hours after unleashing the thunderous fusillade.
thought it has to do with deafness, but not.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bonnie_and_Clyde

ReplyDelete
107. tekst on wiki with "half" in it:

half-a-dozen bank robberies

ReplyDelete
108. This comment has been removed by the author.

ReplyDelete
109. @Bilge, the silver ratio = 2,414213

ReplyDelete
110. Tried the halves of their surnames together
and got barker and parrow, but no go.

ReplyDelete
111. Hi guys! I'm back and on 24!

ReplyDelete
112. lvl 24 half and half has nothing to do with the names, but with the eggs of this level, there are 2 more pictures!!!!

ReplyDelete
113. Oh dang! Gtg go! Dinner time!. Brb.

ReplyDelete
114. Great find Carola, but I can't get those pictures. Where are the words to use as .jpg?

ReplyDelete
115. Put the two pics together, but don't recognise the symbol of dots together.

For the to pictures, enter the first names in the answer bar :)

ReplyDelete
116. Thanks, that was too simple.

ReplyDelete
117. have made this of the dots, but don't know what to see:

http://www.carolagame.frih.org/pictures/bonnie_clyde.png

ReplyDelete
118. Back! Thx Carola for the pics hint.

ReplyDelete
119. I think it's a kind of a "dot code" (like a barcode) but I can't find a reader or converter.

ReplyDelete
120. Got it, it's braille alphabet.

ReplyDelete
121. if you're still stuck on lvl24

http://www.carolagame.frih.org/pictures/bonnie_clyde.png

and use also to translate this picture above http://www.purplehell.com/riddletools/braille.htm

ReplyDelete
122. @Nini xD , yes, that picture, made it more clear now in this picture, wrote lines for you

ReplyDelete
123. oh god ! More images on 25!

ReplyDelete
124. Hm.. we don't have earth there.

ReplyDelete
125. lvl 25 , Stars of Destiny

ReplyDelete
126. Nor Pluto. (which is no longer a planet) :D

ReplyDelete
127. Great Carola! Now for a bunch of chinese names.

ReplyDelete
128. Chikai Star is the chief of Earth.

ReplyDelete
129. So now we have to find the names of the guys on the 7 pictures? HOw?

ReplyDelete
130. so far, have:

Mercury =Gongsun
Saturn =Hua
Venus = Guan
Mars = Suo
Jupiter = Dai
Uranus = Wu
Neptune = Lei

will delete this post later

ReplyDelete
131. s-t. I was thinking since earth is not there that the answer might be the name of Earth Star.

ReplyDelete
132. Thanks Carola, how did you find it? Looked everywhere but couldn't find it

ReplyDelete
133. Me neither s-t. I only get stuff like:

Tenfu Star (Star of Wealth)
etc...

ReplyDelete
134. @s-t,
type the planets in the answer bar and look in source of each planet ;)

and a lot on wiki ;)

ReplyDelete
135. I need help on lvl 7. I dont have paint and couldnt find it on TinEye. :( Please help?

ReplyDelete
136. The 108 Stars of Destiny are translated into the 36 Heavenly Spirits and the 72 Earthly Fiends. Other titles for the Stars of Destiny include The 108 Stars of Heavenly Earth and The 108 Stars of Heaven and Earth.

ReplyDelete
137. there is also a serie about it: The Water Margin

ReplyDelete
138. Hm.. maybe if we count how many ppl among the 36 and 72.

ReplyDelete
139. dang they're all Heavenly Spirits

ReplyDelete
140. Got it, you need their ranks.

ReplyDelete
