ReplyDeleteUse the quarter clue from the TV. I is third color, II is third color, III is 1st color, and IV is second color. The outer colors are shown clockwise. From the computer hint, use the actual colors, not the colors that are spelled out.

This puts three color clues in each quad, use the quarters clue to pick the correct color from each quad. Then use colors on cabinet to get key.

Solution to the Math Code
The hints on the soap dispenser say
Circle+triangle+diamond+square=x
Triangle+diamond+circle+square=y
Circle+square+circle+triangle=z
Triangle+circle+square=w
The hint on the cabinet to the right of the bed says ?=(Z+W)/2-(X+Z-Y)+W.
The book tells us that circle=2, square=4, diamond=3, triangle=1.
Doing the math:
2+1+3+4=x=10
1+3+2+4=y=10
2+4+2+1=z=9
1+2+4=w=7
And
?=(9+7)/2-(10+9-10)+7
?=(16)/2-(9)+7
?=8-9+7=6
The poster over the bed says ?XZW? so the code is SPOILER6109106SPOILER
Solution to the Quarters Code
After entering the colors from the computer in to the flower, you find.
I has g r b
II has y g r
III has p r b
IV has y g b
The TV says
1 quarter 3
2 quarter 3
3 quarter 1
4 quarter 2
So for the I use the third color (blue). For 2 use the third color (red). For 3 use the 1st color (pink). For 4 use the second color (green). That is your color code for the cabinet -- SPOILERBRPGSPOILER

I still don't understand the flower code. I have seen the hint on the computer and the comments below, but they don't make sense for me.
ReplyDeleteFor instance, I don't understand what "bluered" means. I started from the top and tried to enter green (pointing to the North), then blue (pointing to the East), then red (pointing to the South), then yellow (pointing to the West), but nothing happens.
It was a very nice game. Many clues to combine each other.

@Pascale : You juste have to look at the color of the words, not at the word themselves. After that, notice tha the word in blue is upside down, so, it has to be set on the other side.
