  56. Find the Active Cursor Spots -Through

Find four pieces of white paper
-- In order to do this, you must search aimlessly, perhaps for hours, to find all the little tiny spots where your cursor turns into a hand, all the while admiring the pretty house and thinking of all the fun we could have here if Selfdefiant were the game maker.
-- even finding an active cursor spot by no means assures that you'll find a white square. But be patient, because after all, this is FUN!

Once you have the four elusive white squares of paper, they will go together to make one page. Click on the page.

Now you have a QR-Code (apparently different for each game, not that it matters, since you're not going to be translating the code for yourself).

Go to a website (http://zxing.org/w/decode.jspx according to Nini xD and roberto) and use it to decode the piece of paper to get a number to enter in the door (assuming you can find the door).

Then you'll be out. Or so I assume, since I didn't actually go any farther than finding the four pieces of paper.

    Great Game, wasn't it?

  57. Awful game. Pixel hunt, after pixel hunt, with no clear aim, and no likelihood of success, culminating in largely incomprehensible QR code required to make getaway. Horrible. Less than 0/10, if that's possible!

    Liked the house, though.

  61. This game could have had some potential, but I am definitely NOT a fan of "pixel hunt navigation".

Furthermore, for a little escape game it shouldn't be necessary to save an image to your pc then upload somewhere else to decode it. Should have had a way to do it in game if it's going to be a 5 minute hidden object escape.

Btw, if anyone comes back here, I have a question.
How do you copy it into paint? I can't select it, only the ads and text around the game screen and when I right click all I get is "global settings" and "about flash" options. Would love to know for future games. :D

  62. @zoz - LOL! Great FACS-T!!

    ReplyDelete
  63. @mkganda: I used Shift+PrintSreen. And then Adobe Photoshop, or GIMP, or something like this.

    This is the easiest way.

    ReplyDelete
  64. We need to crop a screen shot to be able to upload the code...mine was 46823

    ReplyDelete
  65. I agree with whom said this must be done within the game. But I think that Gimp ( free ) works as Photoshop. Use Ctrl + prinscreen for copy and paste into an empty document in Gimp/Photoshop - crop ad in my video here:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7wttyO-iKDo and save as .jpg.
