ReplyDelete3rd room I tried clicking everywhere with the tools etc. It was much simpler than that. Just look at them
ReplyDelete4th room is a ladder puzzle. follow every turn you run in to going from the color down to levers. Also notice colors on corners of game screen.
ReplyDelete@Brenda still dont quite get it.
ReplyDeleteLast one was tricky. Thanks @ Brenda
ReplyDeleteOkay, I get it. So the color order is based on the dots around the screen (the N shape above the water). Then you start at the color on the pipe and follow the pipe down to the first junction, then the next junction until you get to the valve. Then turn that valve.
ReplyDelete@micheal As you go down the pipe you have to turn each time you hit a new pipe. So a different wheel lines up with the color than just straight down.
ReplyDeleteTinagoof - Much better explanation. I am pretty new to posting. Thanks for clarifying.
ReplyDelete@brenda thats what I was trying but the double pipes tween messed me up!! Bit misleading if you ask me!

ReplyDeleteOh, then turn right twice and read the code off the wall.
ReplyDeleteTurn left and enter it.
I did - a hundred times, I think -but nothing happens.
ReplyDeleteyeeeeeeah this isn't working for me.. im gonna go shake my brain awake.. be back soon!
ReplyDeleteHmm, just ran through again and it worked. Does the water shut off after turning the valves?
ReplyDeleteno, NOTHING happens
ReplyDeleteBy random chance, tryed combinations until one worked Out but don't know why.
ReplyDeleteTurned them in the order 3412 from the left? It hasn't changed on me in 4 runs through.
ReplyDeleteyes, started with red and turned 3412 ---oh no!!!! I had 3421, I'm soooo dumb this morning!!!! THx a lot CHris!
ReplyDeletewohooo thank you chris!! wish there was more of the game after that lol
ReplyDeleteHere is an image to explain the last room better than I can with words. http://img25.imageshack.us/i/pipesg.jpg
ReplyDeleteLol Chris, I think there was some confusion with your first spoiler. There you wrote 3421 instead of 3412
ReplyDeleteOh, oops, so I did. Here it is corrected.
ReplyDeleteLast room Walkthrough:
Get note.
Turn right and see the color order from the corners of the game and the hint on the wall.(SPrOyIbLwER)
Turn left twice and turn the handles in the order of the colors, but follow the small pipes down.(SP3O4I1L2ER)
To all of you who want to know the solution for the last puzzle, or why it is so, look at this:
ReplyDeletehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghost_Leg
Ghost leg solutions confused me a lot of times, but after the third or fourth time I recognised them at last... ;-)
Ah, forgot to mention: this ghost leg has the little twist with the upward bent pipe you have to follow, that confused me a bit first...

ReplyDeleteAre we still live?
ReplyDeleteI liked this one better than the first. Good game! Thanks Shuchun!
ReplyDeleteI still dont understand how to solve the pipes. Pls help me
ReplyDeleteWilliam,
ReplyDeleteJust click the valves in the right order.
So first click the third (from the left), then the fourth, then the first and then the second.
The go 2x right and see the code because the water is stopped.
Another way of looking at the Ghost Leg puzzle in last room:
ReplyDelete(because different brains often see things in different ways)
From Red: follow pipe down, then right, then down (through curved pipe), then down to Yellow valve.
From White: follow pipe down, then left, then down, then right, and down again to White valve.
From Yellow: follow pipe down, then right, then down to Blue valve.
From Blue: follow pipe down, then left, then down, then left and up (through curved pipe), then down, then left, and down to Red valve.
So the colored buttons at top connect to the valves below as:
R to Y
W to W
Y to B
B to R
Since we're following the order of colors on the border of the game as directed above the waterfall, we want to turn the valves on the bottom that are connected to RYBW at the top
So we must turn the valves in this order: YBRW
Another way of saying this is, numbering the valves from left to right, turn valves 3,4,1,2.
Now the waterfall is off!
If this is more confusing than helpful, please ignore!
For the Pipe puzzle, the purpose is to follow a pipe's path down to a specific wheel using the "N" clue on the opposite wall. That's the point of a "ladder" puzzle.
ReplyDeleteHow a Ladder puzzle works.
Your objective is to follow the Main Lines and Junctions till you reach the bottom.
A Main Line will always lead you downward towards the bottom (your goal), while Junctions connect you to another Main Line.
When you start, you work your way down the Main Line till you meet the first Junction. Follow that Junction till you meet another Main Line. Go down that Main Line till you meet another Junction and follow that Junction till you meet another Main Line.
This continues till you've reached the bottom, or in this case, the wheel.
Hope that helped.
Well that's a lot of explanations for a Ghost Leg. Let's do another one;
ReplyDeleteSometimes you have to go from left to right. If so, then go right and keep going right because that's your main goal.
But if there's a junction (down or up, it doesn't matter) you have to take that. But as soon as you can go right again on a junction you go right again (that's your main goal, remember). Keep doing that till you're all the way right.
Sometimes you have to go from top to bottom and that's the same method. Your main goal is to go down.
But if there's a junction (left or right, it doesn't matter) you have to take that. But as soon as you can go down again on a junction you go down again (that's your main goal, remember). Keep doing that till you're all the way down.

ReplyDeleteSo the pipe puzzle is not based on water flow or any other logic, it is based on Chinese rules. Continue down the pipe until you hit a side pipe, then take that side pipe until you can go down again. Repeat until you hit a valve. Thank you for the explanations.
ReplyDeleteout with no help. I LOVE it when I actually get ghost legs correct. It never used to happen.
ReplyDeleteSee the wonderful things that I learn from escape games?
caught this one from the random section
ReplyDeletesaw the bars, but didn't connected them with the paper hint
no probs for me with ghostleg
thx Jan for this cool game ☺
