ReplyDeleteFirst number in book says 8, that's first number of code. Second number is square, third is triangle (if i remember correctly). Last numbers are on shirt (91).
After doing some math you see that square is 2 and triangle is 5.
That makes code 82591.

save the coin. Don't bother opening the closet with it.
When you get the key, try going through the Green door, you'll then go through a trap door where "God" is.
Click on the panel and use the Coin to unscrew.
Now you and "God" are free.

ReplyDeleteI know no one else is going to bother with writing a walkthrough, so here's one anyway, for the "good" ending...
PART ONE
As the cursor changes over hotspots, it's fun to click everything just to see the madness lurking in these scenes.
At the first screen in the game, you see an enthusiastic minister performing what looks like part of an exorcism ritual, and beside him, the beautiful intro devil-girl's mother. So that's what she'll look like when she ages - so, boys, don't even think about it.
Behind her is a doorway leading to three more doorways. Straight ahead is a dark brown door requiring a key, with a small cupboard to the right which you can't interact with, so back up from zooming it and try the door on the left [round grey handle].
Here is a girl quietly fishing in the toilet using her golf club, so without disturbing her, click the cup on the cistern just above her and leave her to it.
The door on the right leads to a laundry room, and someone's left clothing in a pile. Investigating that will give you an orange tee-shirt. Before cramming it into your inventory, click to turn it and see a clue for a code needed later on [or double-click it in inventory to view it].
Behind the large double door is a bath/shower room, and you can spy on a man in a fish costume taking a shower if you are that way inclined. If you return late and have another peep, you get to see him in the bath, too, haha.
Back out until you get to the holy-water-splasher scene again and go left.
Cursor changes over the butler-type polishing a glass, but he ignores you for now.
Click the doorway behind him and see three masks on the wall.
Zoom in on them and note the colours on their heads and three hooks. [That middle one is obviously not a mask; I wish we had a feather to tickle his forehead with and watch him struggle, but then I'm just unkind].
Back up to the two doors and click the left one.
There's a horrid little wriggly knobble in the bed, so click it because you just can't resist.
Click it again to see a nasty maggotty thing/demented peg doll writhing and a coin. Grab the coin and back out.
Turn right and see the cupboard doors. You can use the coin to open this and get nothing but frustration, and you will have chosen a route to one of the endings, but I restarted because I wanted to save the coin for later.
Zoom in the bottom drawer.
Three buttons that change colour are the reason you noted the mask dot colours, so enter them then click the round red button to the right.
The drawer flies open and your reward is a stocking [just what you hoped you'd get!.....?]
Click the hotspot that still remains in the drawer and get a red cloth.
Get it, back out and go right. Click the door, then the right hand door in the mask scene.
A sullen-looking boy who looks frankly hypnotised, and clicking him again zooms into the screwdriver that he is not prepared to part with. Not that you actually want one yet, but you feel strangely compelled to deprive him of it. One single stocking can only be useful for one thing, so stuff his head in it and observe what it does to his face =) So that's why bank robbers wear them!
Click his head again and watch the hook pull up and squeeze his face [I loved that bit!]
PART TWO
ReplyDeleteBack out to see that he has dropped the screwdriver, so grab it before he does and stash it.
Back out until he is in full view again, then click the books to his left.
Cursor changes over the blue book, so click it to see the remnant of a torn-out page. Note what you see and back out four times the the ignorant butler-type guy again.
Go left and admire the pot plant having a boogy in his little corner.
Zoom into the drawers to the right and notice that the top one doesn't open, so back out one click.
Zoom into the cupboard doors and click the left one, because the right one doesn't open.
You get a grey code box, so tuck that away and notice that your cursor stays active along the top of the empty cupboard, so click it and see a little screw.
As you conveniently have a screwdriver handy, highlight it and remove the screw.
The top drawer on the right will open, producing a cocktail shaker.
Maybe this item would get the attention of the butler? So back out from the drawer, click right and try him. =)
Woah! he's an exciteable chap!
Well, that worked, so see who else has noticed; click right.
Demon-girl's mother has backed off from the water heater and seems a little worried, so try the cup on the water heater and get some very hot water.
Back to curiosity, turn right and see the subject of minister's exorcism, quite unimpressed by the robed man's gymnastics, tapping his foot impatiently and chewing some very tough gum [?].
Right again, and click the long curtains =D =D =D [Tangerine Dance Troupe, haha].
When you've got over that, click the drawers to zoom and discover you can't open them, so back out and click the "vase".
Cursor changes, but no response from him, so think what you've got that he might react to? [I actually felt mean doing this, but he is a serious nuisance not letting you into that cupboard.]
With his face scalded, the doors burst open and you can see in.
Click the scrap of rubbish by his right knee and it opens. The torn-out page.
Combined with the book bit, the sum reads square with an 8 in it, black square, triangle, minus 12 equals 813.
The tee-shirt had these shapes and 91, whih make up the 5 digit code for that grey box.
Double-click the box, select the correct numbers and click the long button beneath them to open the box.
A key.
Don't rush off yet, though. Double click the red cloth to view it, then click it again - curtain rings? Now, where did you see some hooks?
Hang it under the masks and remember the phrase "red rag to a bull"...
She charges in and knocks the wall flat, revealing a panda disco-dance-pointing along a new corridor.
You know you have to, so go with him and click left.
A new door! And a trap!
Poor halo guy [who most players here are calling god, so I will too] is crying and there's a screwed panel to the left.
Since you used [and lost] the screwdriver, use the coin that you still have to undo the panel and then go through it.
Another door? So use the key at last, and the god blokey is happy that you've both escaped =D

Nice! I was hoping the creator of Ougon Escape would be back with more madness. Ironic that a room escape game as utterly insane as this has more logical and intuitive puzzles than most other room escape games. I didn't need any help until it came to finding the best ending.
