ReplyDeleteKanji is one of the three japanese writing systems, based off of the traditional Chinese system. the numbers in kanji are: 一 二 三 四 五 六 七 八 九 十 (1-10).

ReplyDeleteif anyone cares, the "happy" end treat - it's a traditional "Children's Day" sweet. I assume this game was made in honor of Children's Day - May 5th - because the carp banners are traditional of the celebration, as is the Kashiwa-mochi. They're wrapped in oak leaves.

Go right
Zoom on the left side of the box on the floor that needs a letter code
There is a clue
Enter the code word
Get the BLUE CARP FLAG
Enter the number code into the bottom drawer for the RED CARP FLAG
Turn right and see the bear is holding a key hostage
Turn right
Open the bottom drawer of the fridge for the FROZEN FISH
Zoom on the floor to the right of the tall cabinet for the NIPPERS
Use the nippers to free the bottom doors of the cabinet for the HAIR DRYER
Open the about item view of the fish and use the hair dryer to defrost it
Go left
Give the fish to the bear for the KEY
Go left
Use the key on the top drawer of the dresser drawers for the AX
Go right
Give the kid the ax (great plan!)
Now use the log on her to get it cut and find the GREEN CARP FLAG
Turn to the doors
Place the flags in the holder by the door
SPOILERBRGSPOILER
For ending 1: Click the left door and leave
For ending 2: Click the right door to see the hidden code word
Turn to the box where you found the blue carp flag and enter the codeword SPOILERkashiwamochiSPOILER for the traditional Kashiwa-mochi sweets wrapped in oak leaves (thanks for the explanation, Trisana!!!)

Solution to the floor safe
On the left side of the safe is red, blue and green shapes. The order is green circle, red star, red circle, blue star, green star, blue circle. According to the red/blue/green sign on the wall, the letter in the green row and circle column is K. The letter in the red row/star column is a. Keep going and the word is SPOILERkabutoSPOILER

ReplyDeleteAnd I can see your kanji explanation/comment with my laptop now. I played the game earlier (and wrote the walkthrough) with my father's desktop, and your comment just had blank squares in place of the kanji. So I couldn't quote it. ;)
