  27. I wonder how we were supposed to guess the code of the book. There is no real hint (there are so many things that could be counted, for instance, the barrels). The only thing that looks like a hint is the marks on the boards of the wall, in the same view as the green book. But of course it is not the hint.
BTW where is the first piece of map ?

    ReplyDelete
  28. I like these games I just wish the number codes weren't so obscure. More of guessing then logic.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Code for page:
3 scrolls, 1 telescope, 4 bottles around chest.

Code for chest is in book.

  30. Just taking a break from the other live game....

    ReplyDelete
  31. OK, just finished the game and I can tell you now; this is where the book code (312) comes from:
-The parrots ate 3 cookies this morning
-The skull has 1 eye patched
-It took 2 matches to light that candle.

Geez! Can't believe you all missed that!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Boring now back to the brain breaker.....

    ReplyDelete
  33. Still missing the first piece of map.

    ReplyDelete
  34. lol @Edgar, I'm real glad we have you here to notice these things.

  35. maps from :
    1. oil lamp (use key from window there)
    2. from the sand heap
    3. from the wall
    4. from the chest
Not necessarily in this order ...

    ReplyDelete
  36. Thank you Truus. There is a piece of map of the wall, but I can't pick it up.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Hey Truus, they don't call me Brainiac for nothing!

...actually, zoz is the only one calling me that (which I hate!):P

@Pascale, list of map pieces as they go on the door:
    1. It's the visible one on the wall; get it with the knife that is got with the key that is got from the wall with the axe, which is got with the metal bar.
    2. It's the one coming from the obscure book.
    3. It's in the window. Get it with the chandelier pattern.
    4. It's in the pile of sand and got with the oar that is got with the stick+nail combo.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Aha, and now I see why @Edgar,
you see, I only tell where to find the items but also explain how to pick them up. :P

    ReplyDelete
  39. Thank you Edgar. I don't have any knife : I have only an axe and 3 pieces of map in my inventory.

    ReplyDelete
  40. OK, now I have all the pieces of the map, thanks !

    ReplyDelete
  41. YW @Pascale.
And to avoid any confusion, when I said a map piece comes from the book... well, I meant from the chest after what you have to do beginning in the book, of course...

    ReplyDelete
  42. and once again I made no sense at all,
I meant to say YOU also explain how to pick them up....

    ReplyDelete
  43. Well, that previous post is very confusing now that i re-read it, since it was a rush attempt of a helping comment and NOT a WT. Here I go again:

List of map pieces as they go on the door:
    1. It's the visible one on the wall; get it with the knife that is got with the key that is got from the wall with the axe, which is got with the metal bar.
    2. It's the one coming from the chest with the 4-dig code that is read in the green book after using the 3-dig obscure code.
    3. It's in the oil lamp. Get it with the key that is got from the window using the chandelier pattern.
    4. It's in the pile of sand and got with the oar that is got with the stick+nail combo.

    ReplyDelete
  44. LOL @Truus and @Edgar! No confusion at all now ;)
I tried really hard, but couldn't find any better explanation for the book code than the ones posted before (unfortunately).

  45. Immediate spam pop-ups and two virus threats from AVG and Windows Defender. Not playing this one and will not play future games by this developer.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Don't understand the ratings at all. No one has figured out why the page code is 312 in 4 days since the game was released. How can this average 3 stars? Is a random number now acceptable in escape games?
