First I am going to make a cup of coffee before I start playing because your games are like good chocolate or sex, I like to take the time savor it. Also I loved your last scary game. It rocked.

  89. Get Me Outta Here Before I Read A Book And Learn Something - Through

Make a note of the “artwork” on the wall and which way the arrows are pointing (Up and Right in this scene).
Go right and rifle through the trash until you find a Styrofoam Cup.
Again, note the artwork on the wall.
Look in the file cabinet drawers to see two puzzle boxes that must be solved, and move a piece of paper on the bulletin board to reveal a clue.
Click on the “I Heart Books” and it will rotate so that the Heart is pointing to the piece of artwork on the left. This indicates that, for the puzzle in the top drawer, you should begin with this artwork and go around the room in a counterclockwise direction.

SPOILER for box in top drawer:

    SPOILERUSPOILERRSPOILERUSPOILERLSPOILERRSPOILERDSPOILER

Open the box and take the white Marble.
Go right and look out the window at the Sign. The key for reading the sign is the clue on the bulletin board, and the answer is a five digit code for the box on the fireplace mantle.

    SPOILER7SPOILER3SPOILER9SPOILER4SPOILER6SPOILER

Click under the chair on the left and take the Screwdriver.
Now, go back to the first scene and fill the Cup with water from the Water Fountain.
Return to the Fireplace and douse the fire using the Cup of water.
You should now have 3 Marbles.
Go right and look at the middle book on the top middle shelf.
Click on it and see that you need water to wash off the dirt obscuring something. Unfortunately, the Cup of water won’t work, even though you can keep refilling it.
Go back to the desk and bulletin board scene and look at the Puzzlebox on the desk. It has a black Star and requires a three-digit code.
Look at the paper on the bulletin board again and notice that only 3 of the stars beside the numbers are NOT black. These are the 3 numbers for the code, and they go from darkest to lightest.

    SPOILER2SPOILER9SPOILER6SPOILER

Now you have a White Key, so go unlock the Ladder.
Slide the Ladder over and use the Screwdriver to remove the Vent cover for your fourth Marble.
On the top shelf on the left, where the ladder was, is a Paintbrush. Take it and wet it in the Water Fountain.
Return to the Odd Book on the top shelf and use the wet Paintbrush to see the code for the last puzzlebox, which is in the bottom drawer of the File Cabinet. Open the box and take the Gray Key.
Use the Gray Key on the door beneath the Book Return and take Marble #5.
Go back to the shelves with the ladder.
There are four books on the bottom right side that don’t look like the others. Click on these in order from lightest to darkest and they disappear. Now you can access the Safe where the Marbles go, and get the Black Key.
Go to the main door and open it to Escape the Library!

  90. For the top drawer puzzle, I've used every solution mentioned here and none work for me! I've tried to solve it myself by imagining each picture rotated a quarter turn clockwise, but still nothing. Can someone please tell me WHICH picture to start with??

    ReplyDelete
  91. @John, start with the pic to the left of the movable "I love books" - picture. Then follow all the pics from right to left, counterclockwise through the room. No rotating.
Click here to see a picture of the solution.

Out of this game thanks to zoz (great wt!) for the 3-digit box, and thanks to Gina Black for finding the safe!

    ReplyDelete
  92. The top drawer took me ages. Start left of the heart and keep going left.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Thanks Ellie - I had tried that a few times and it wouldn't work. Closed out, restarted, and it worked. Go figure. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  94. my cursor always goes too slow with the greyscale games! Getting instant-rsi! Its only with these games, strange!

    ReplyDelete
  95. out with help for the safe. Thanks, Gina Black.

The books were a bit touchy. I thought I had tried both light to dark and dark to light. Even after confirming what to do, it took a couple of tries to get it to work.

    Great game, otherwise. :)

    ReplyDelete
  96. Don't understand why there is a right pointing arrow on the drawer when you really read to the left. It should have just been omitted. I noticed that the stars were in different positions on each wall, thinking that answer was to order them according to position on wall (reading left to right like arrow) regardless of which wall they were on. Then I tried rotating like love picture. Both wrong...
