ReplyDeleteYou need a hammock. When you pay the guy, you get your hammock and can go up and you're out.
So if you want to collect more coins, don't go up yet.

ReplyDeleteIt's all up to you about with how may coins you want to finish. But you need 30 to buy a hammock and then you can go up and you're out.

So, If I had 47 coins when I found the goggles... and I get 2 coins worth 10 apiece, I have 67 coins. then I go to pay the guy... then go to the hammock...then game is over with only 7 coins!

@catqueen, I closed my game, but you need to go all the way to the upper right, and then up...there you find the hammock and the sales guy, when you click on the hammock there!

How many coins were there total? I had 68 before hammock man ripped me off by taking 60 instead of 30. Instead of relaxing in the hammock, I'm going to look for a coconut to throw at him. Grrrrr!

Liked the different puzzles, though had to go to the comments for the word wheel. Thought I'd never find the coin pouch.

WALKTHROUGH part 1
ReplyDeleteROOM Q
- Zoom in on the phone and see the NUMBER (953).
- Zoom in on the drawer and use that number to open it and take the WHITE KEY.
- GO DOWN (use white key) and RIGHT
ROOM M
- Take MARBLE #1 (bottom left on the screen).
- GO LEFT (2x) and UP (2x).
ROOM S
- Take the BLACK PAPER from the fridge and MARBLE #2 from the plantpot right above that fridge.
- Open the right drawer below the sink and take the KNIFE.
- GO DOWN (2x).
ROOM K
- Use the knife on the couch in front and take MARBLE #3.
- Look at the paper and see the TWO COLOR HINTS (the one at the bottom; GRYB is for the gems and the sentence is a hint where to find the other hint).
- GO DOWN and LEFT
ROOM B
- Click the video tapes next to the tv and take MARBLE #4.
- GO RIGHT (2x).
ROOM D
- Take MARBLE #5 from the bottom left of the screen.
- GO LEFT.
ROOM C
- Zoom in on the box on the table and put in all 5 marbles, open it and take the SILVER KEY.
- GO LEFT (2x).
ROOM A
- Take GEAR #1 from the bin in the mirror.
- GO RIGHT and UP (use key).
ROOM J
- Zoom in on the abacus on the bottom right and put in all colored balls in the way the black paper shows you to do and take the RED GEM.
- GO UP (2x).
ROOM R
- Take the SCREWDRIVER (behind the left brown chair).
- Look at the + and arrows hint on the paper.
- GO DOWN.
ROOM O
- Use the screwdriver to open the doors below the tv on the right and take the BLUE KEY.
GO DOWN (2x) and RIGHT (3x), use blue key.
ROOM E
- Zoom in on the thing on the cupboard and remember the + and arrows hint. So make all the inner circles blue/cyan (use the right wheel to let blue ones go the the other wheels) to make it look like the blue + from the hint and if done correctly you can take the BLUE GEM.
- GO RIGHT.
WALKTHROUGH part 2
ReplyDeleteROOM F
- Zoom in under the left side of the right bed and take the WRENCH.
- GO RIGHT.
ROOM G
- Use the screwdriver on the picture on the left and then use the wrench to take GEAR #2.
- GO UP.
ROOM N
- Remember the hint from room K about the pool times etc. So zoom in on the sign (above the pool) and see the 4-COLOR CODE HINT (and in alphabetical order with the capitals behind the colors it is PYRB).
- GO DOWN, LEFT (3x) and UP.
ROOM L
- Zoom in on the box on the little table and put in those colors from room N and open it and take the BLACK KEY.
- GO DOWN, LEFT (2x), UP and LEFT (use black key).
ROOM I
- Zoom in on the word puzzle on the cabinet on the left. Now remember it's about vacation, so try to make words (by turning the wheels) that are related to vacation. It is left; Island, on top; Oceans, right; Denote and on the bottom; Follow and then take the GREEN GEM.
- GO LEFT.
ROOM H
- Drag the top towel away and take GEAR #3.
- GO RIGHT (2x), DOWN, RIGHT and UP (2x).
ROOM P
- Zoom in on the box on the table and put the 3 gears on it and open it and take the YELLOW GEM.
- GO DOWN (2x), LEFT, UP and LEFT.
ROOM I
- Zoom in under the bed (right side) and put the 4 gems (according to the clue in room K (GRYB)) in the suitcase, open it and take the GOLD KEY.
- GO RIGHT, DOWN, RIGHT, UP (3x), RIGHT (use gold key) and all the way up.
ROOM AB
- Click a part of the top right stone away and take the POUCH. Now you can collect COINS. You need at least 30 of them to finish.
- To make it easier you can collect the GOGGLES in ROOM AC (drag the stones on the right away). And with those you can find two TEN worth COINS in room X.
- Anyway, after having 30 coins, Go all the way right there in those top rooms and then up to ROOM AD. Pay the 30 coins to the guy and you can go up and you're out (on vacation).
2 things: sneaky must be runnin' around buck naked if he needs something to hold the coins, and who has a tier-top washer and dryer next to their fridge? o_O

I really would like to be able to draw a little on the map.
Don't get me wrong. It's really great you can type on the map now, but what I always used to do was drawning a line between rooms in what color the needed key is and that's not possible anymore.

for another phantastic creative game with even more challenging new puzzles - for the first time in one of your games, I had to swear like a trooper when for a looooooong time I didn't manage to solve the abacus puzzle...

In letting my mind wander, here some remarks:
- instead of going forward to bought hammock, I went back down and landed from room AA in room I... is this projected?
- I also would like to be able to draw again on the map AND to take notes with keyboard... is this possible to program, maybe even WITH saving when going back to menu?
- For abacus puzzle I would have preferred to choose one colour and then click on all places where this particular colour goes, and another click for erasing an eventual placement error. Otherwise it is a too hard work IMHO for «only» one gem... maybe next time? :-D
- As the sacred jar for the orbs, I also liked to have a pouch before I could collect the coins... but could it be the next time not so far away from the start, please? 8-D
- I liked the new variety of puzzles very much...
- I'm looking forward tremendously to next sneaky adventures, but let have him some relaxation in hammock first, he deserves it...!

Pheww, took me some time but finally out! Couldn't do it though without your comments, very helpful. I really enjoy the Selfdefiant games. I missed the colour app on the map; I also draw a cross on the rooms when I was done with them and gave the rooms with the closed doors also a colour of the key you needed. Looking forward to the next game!

ReplyDeleteSD: I really like the addition of the text box - it makes making notes so much easier for me! From a usability standpoint, I would make the "Clear" button much smaller or move it far out of the way, so that you really have to want to hit it. We're conditioned to just "hit the big button" to get out of a window, and after typing you have to mouse over the area of that button to get to the one you probably want. Just a suggestion - thanks for the great games!

I loved all the new puzzles, and it is cool that you can type, BUT I really miss the ability to draw with colors!!! I had developed a system of drawing colored keys so I could instantly go to the room when I found one!
The typing is fine but I would sooner make notes with pen and paper so, not all that helpful to me.
One thing I am not sure about is the sound...I like the music but only for a short time...loops get to me really fast so I usually mute...are there any sound effects to the games? If so, it would be great to be able to mute music separate from the sound effects!

Only needed hints for 3 hidden objects (black marble on deck, screwdriver, garbage in mirror) A few items never used: "Pretty Flowers" on deck, empty basket on beach, empty "taken" hammock on beach. The room above the starting room has incorrect arrows, one doesn't work (doesn't effect game play). Loved the puzzles in this one. Thank you, again for not having find all the coins....
