As Antonia says the color code is right above the chest itself, just click on the brick staircase above it.

In second room, there's a candle hint on the ceiling. SPOIL1342ER
If you place the candles in that order on the fireplace, then click the fireplace, there is a treasure. Pick up the coin to the right.
When you go up the second stairs, click on the face of the statue to the left. Place the coin in the eye. Now you can click the coffin and rest in peace!

What is the "1st" candle and the "2nd"?
I thought the order can be derived from the two rows in the inventory:
1ST -- 2ND
3RD -- 4TH
But placing them 1ST-3RD-4TH-2ND doesn't open anything. Even tried to click on the fireplace, to no avail.

Get the FIRST PAPER CLUE
Get the GREEN GEM from the pedestal
Click the paper in your inventory and then the red rectangle that appears at the right side of the inventory box to see the about item view
Note the clue
Go right
Click the left shelves to find the CANDLE 2/4
Go right
Click the corner to the right of the left statue for the HAMMER
Click the left eye of the skull for the FIRST LETTER CLUE
Get the HAND STATUEfrom the floor
Go left
Use the hammer on the dark spot on the wall (a bit right of the mummy’s outstretched arms)
Get the MATCHES
Back up and zoom on the bricks on the floor
Find the SECOND LETTER CLUE
Go right 2 times
Get the MIRROR from the second jackal statue
Note the left box by the stairs needs a number code
The right box by the stairs needs 4 gems
Zoom on the pot between the 2 boxes for the THIRD LETTER CLUE

The paper from the crack in the wall has 3 random letters on it. Enter this into the wall.
5-Letter code box
The box on the shelf beyond the wall needs a 5-letter code word. You know this from the paper with instructions that you found. The letters you have are yummm. Unscramble them to spell SPOILERMUMMYSPOILER
