@zoz: I agree. This one was fun, and longer. I don't think I'll ever tire of these!
ReplyDeleteHey! I'm first on the second page! ;->
ReplyDeleteI agree... it is the highlight of my day to play these. A crystal ball or something like hidden passage ways to get around faster would be nice. I also think that it is sometimes more difficult to find the gold coins than the sneaky coin. Awesome game SelfDefiant! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteLOL I always look for live game by Mr SD and went to the escape room found nothing then decided to try the adventure games and here it is alas I fear I am alone *sigh* UPside? all the great hints thanks guys for bravely going in !! Blessings

ReplyDeletewoah!!! look how many rooms there are!!!
ReplyDeleteSelf-Defiant, I keep hoping to hit one of these live to ask the group this question, but no luck recently. I am having trouble with your games in Firefox. When I leave the page (to read the comments, or to use Grab), the image disappears. I have to find an arrow or item to pick up to sort of wipe it back into existance. I'm guessing something with Flash, but I don't have any problems with other games. Any ideas?
ReplyDeleteafraid i cheated and used the walkthrough to speed up my play!! but still worth it ever so much! thanks sd!!
ReplyDelete«Moochas grassias!» (by holy cow),
ReplyDelete@Selfdefiant,
for another great game!
Wow, an audio button at the start screen! What an excellent idea! Now, your mailbox will never more be overwhelmed with inquiries about the music you're using...
;-D
For my part, I was really beat by the paneled entrance, phew! & Then the whole museum atmosphere! Well, not my style (for purchase), I prefer the wonderful places on the beach (only if I could afford just one...)
& Then - as a clashing with the style - the (private) rooms full of gallimaufry...
8-)
& Very sneaky, the anagram for the color box!
& I'm looking forward playing your games more often (if Jon's announcement in Cbox: «big launch of SD games from now on» is not a taradiddle...)
& Thx very much, @LaChatonFou,
for the WT! I left with all 50 coins & Sneaky coin in about half an hour, but with some peeks...
(I must confess being a bit lazy today, lol)
Someone can to help ME with THE PORTFOLIO KEY I cannot form WITH THE FOLLOWING LETTERS G,O,B,Z,Y. THANK YOU
ReplyDeleteALAIN,
ReplyDeleteNot sure what you're talking about, but if you're talking about how the colour clue works in room AF. The hint was GOBGY, but it was an anagram so the word is BOGGY and that means you have to use the colours Blue-Orange-Green-Green-Yellow.
i am still looking for that last marble,,,sheesh cant find it ...I have seriously scanned every scene three times. Hints please..:)
ReplyDelete0h finally found it
ReplyDelete@premiere, thanks for introducing me to not one but TWO cool new words (new to me, anyway).
ReplyDeleteGallimaufry: a hodgepodge; jumble; confused medley.
Taradiddle: a small lie; fib.
So EG24 is actually educational as well as great fun!
Well, another great game by SelfDefiant, and the castle... beautiful. (So that's how the other half lives). I've got a mapthrough gallery, it's here. As always, expect spoilers.
ReplyDeleteLoved the music !!
ReplyDeleteStarting out:
ReplyDeleteMap in first scene, right of gate (mailbox)
marbles in B, D, G, N, K
Marble box in H for silver key.
I found 12 coins outside
Use in K to enter R.
WOOO HOO AWESOME GAME, SD!!! I'm only sorry I couldn't do it last night due to a weather-related power failure :( Just a leeetle note: I too would like a Crystal Ball to get around the map faster ;) Esp when the maps get as big as this one! But when they're this big, they're WAY more fun!!
ReplyDeletewhere is the red gem?
ReplyDeletejojoma,
ReplyDeletered gem in I - use SD on one of the tiles.
lol, zoz,
YW - I will forward your thanks to my online dictionary...!
;-D
Thank you thank you thank you Self-Defiant :D ...and to think I might not have discovered your games had it not been for my propensity for what is commonly known as *extreme klutz-like syndrome* aka EKLS....lol!!! I suppose I should be a bit more specific ;) I used to play games on my computer, i.e., Myst, Rhem, Mysterious Journey...etc. Then, in 2007, I exhibited my coordinated move called slip, trip and land directly on shoulder....lol! Anyway...long story shorter...I could not use both hands to play my games anymore so explored the internet and voila...found EG24 and the rest is history ;) Don't ever stop giving us hours of enjoyment...oh, and I don't escape from these gorgeous places....I am breaking in...lol!!!!
ReplyDeleteROFL @premiere....two more words for my vocabulary list as well....I especially love *taradiddle*....ahhahahaa!!!!! Please send more... ;)
lol, irish,
ReplyDeletepromised!
:-)
People... could anyone please tell me the answer of the color order in room T?
ReplyDeleteJullys,
ReplyDeletein room T above mantel, make right column of dots match left column for ORANGE GEM
from top to bottom: R-Pi-B-Y-G
& btw, ph1n3a5,
thx very much for the awesome mapthrough gallery -
a vision of delight!
8-D
Another great game, thank you SD. Was tempted twice to peek at the hints but persevered and managed it by myself. Afterwards looked at the picture
ReplyDeleteWT from ph1n3a5 for the first time. Also brilliant. What a superb idea, it must have taken almost as long to do as SD to make the game.
Well done both of you.
@ph1n3a5, your maps never fail to astonish!
ReplyDeleteout with all the coins and the sneaky one (but my time was horrible since I had to go coin hunting :P)
ReplyDeletewhat is the four color code from top to bottom
ReplyDeleteFinally out with 50 coins..ooof..that was interesting and difficult as well. Only that 4 code color was difficult to judge..I had never thought that I will be able to open it..finally the hint of roman numerals worked.Signing off..Thx Gaurav Manocha
