ReplyDeleteThe beetles are Colorado potato beetles (Leptinotarsa decemlineata). The plant pathologist in me love this game. :)

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, my pc nearly went into orbit while I was trying to get past the colorado beetles, so I've given up. The game speed went all weird and I didn't get footprints until a beetle was in my lettuce-face.
Yes, premiere, it reminds me of Samarost and Machinarium =)
the main characters remind me of the soot sprites from the Studio Ghibli films :D

you picked up the rosemary and the meat on the way to the surface by clicking on the shelves.

Click on the pea pods and the peas, bee gives directions.//
Notice key in dump, click left of cucumber for stick, click machine/TV for hook and the roots for string. Collect key. move on.
Hide under lettuce and take small steps. Wait for beetle to move away and enter tunnel.
Collect torch and note and aim for bottom right of tunnel.//
Break off spike and click on plug. Bash beetle, walk to computer and check tick - need password. Collect cup at right and take to water/drug.,feed to dazed beetle and click items on screen. Collect potato.//
Go into shop, speak to man and see you need glasses. Go outside and collect glasses, take to man and see what you have to do. Collect paintbrush and dip in paint, go outside and paint beetroot on the right.
Take it to man. Click the waiting carrot and go home.
After you feed the drug to the beetle, drag him to the computer and he gives password.

ReplyDeleteWell, I really couldn't remember taking meat & spice from the shelves - even in replaying I didn't find the stuff, only a bare bone & garlic, that I couldn't take... (in the speech balloons, meat & spice were crossed out...!)
